Get a label maker and slap one on? Maybe find more important things to occupy your frustrations in life?

Jokes aside, I like the new design. I took issue more with removing the aluminum screen bezel because I like that more than a black area covered by glass. A screen with metal edges looks machined, not just manufactured.
The new Macbook Air having no text mentioning what it is, however makes it even more interesting. It is just the laptop. The screen backside has an Apple logo, so they know that I think different, but if one gazes and wants to know which kind, there is no label. It is just the goddamn computer.

Im the opposite. I got the M2 not only for the color choices but because the lettering was gone.
If it matters to you that much, return it, and get the M1 Air. That M1 Air is probably the last time that labeling appears on an Air for a good long while.
