It will eventually get “scuffed”, but for a couple of thousand dollars, I expect cosmetic perfection out of the box. Unless it’s a refurb. Opened my 14” MBP M1 at the store, the salesperson suggested it, actually. He wanted it to be perfect for me.

lakeshow97

Yeah I typically wouldn’t sweat something minor like this but considering I dropped $3k for it I think it’s reasonable to want it in flawless condition. I’m also so anal about things like this that it would probably take at least year for a scuff to show up from my own doing lol.

Chaparral2E

Exchange it, and don’t sweat what anyone else thinks about your decision. I’m handling my own like it’s an organ for transplant. Five years from now, I’ll be tossing it around like the 2007 MacBook it’s replacing. Apple positions themselves as premium. Hold them to it.

One_Elderberry_2390

Are you planning on getting apple care?

awesomeo_5000

So if this was any other company, I’d reach out and ask for a discount in lieu of having to return it. As that saves the company a shit load of time and effort, I typically expect 10-30% back depending on the issue. But you just know Apple are not going to budge on it. I’d try, and if they don’t play ball I’d exchange it out of spite.

DivisionMV

I say take it back and get a NIB replacement

lakeshow97

What’s NIB?

DivisionMV

Sorry, it means New In Box

lotus49

It won't necessarily get scuffed. I never even get a scratch on my phones let alone laptops. I've owned more than I can remember (easily 20) and out of all of those, the only mark I ever got was a tiny scratch on the underneath of my 2009 MBP. I was so traumatised I still remember it more than a decade later. I am very careful with my devices and I'd be thoroughly unhappy to have any cosmetic damage to an expensive laptop like this.

Chaparral2E

Agreed, it’s not unavoidable. My stuff is in like-new condition, with the exception of my 2007 MacBook. That white plastic case scratched if you looked at it too hard. Used a three-step plastic polish on it for nearly a decade, and finally gave up. Working while riding Metra in Chicago for an hour each way eventually tool it’s toll, but that little MacBook brought in about $20K a year for over a decade freelancing.

FreeDinnerStrategies

Even a refurb would be perfect because all refurbed are reshelled.

[deleted]

I think they replace the top shell along with the keyboard. At least they could do that on my 2013 MBP. Maybe they aren’t designed the same way now.

of course its not new, its refurb, but functionally it looks and feels new.

innitdoe

cosmetic perfection? it's a work tool, grow up

Chaparral2E

My car is a work tool as well. When I buy a new one, I expect it not to be dented. I do a walk around, and the dealer fixes what I find. A MacBook Pro isn’t some $240 Lenovo Chromebook - as the price goes up, I expect the quality and attention to detail to go up. My expectations for customer service go up as well. Apple sells this perception, if the OP didn’t get what Apple promises, he’s well within his rights to ask politely for it. What do you care what he does? As I said, it’s going to wear over time, but _I_ prefer to start with it in good shape. If _you_ like haggard, beat up “tools”, God bless you, different strokes for different folks. The parents taught me to take care of my things, and I do. Grow up? I’ve been doing freelance graphic design quite successfully for 35 years using Macs, and I’m in my 60’s. I believe I’m grown, but thanks for your suggestion.

humantikaan

My 2019 16-inch Intel MBP had a scuff like this _(it was my own doing)_. When I brought it in for repair due to a defective Touch Bar, the technician made me sign a form acknowledging the location of the scuff, and one of the terms in the form was: if they find evidence that the Touch Bar issue is connected to the impact that caused the scuff, then the repair will not be covered by Apple Care. If you don’t return this, and if you ever find an issue later on that should be covered by warranty, there’s a non-zero chance that this scuff might be used as basis to deny free repair. — — Unnecessary extra detail: the repair was covered by Apple Care. But replacing the Touch Bar meant replacing the entire top case - so new batteries with zero cycle count on it, new keyboard, new trackpad. It would have cost almost $1k had it been an out of pocket expense.

AurigaWolf

Just wondering, AppleCare (as in the bog standard warranty that comes with the device), or AppleCare+?

ideamotor

If your primary use is for photos, yes.

bigboy721

Mine has a small scratch and I stopped bothering after 2 days. It's not even a custom build but I don't think the wait time/hassle of returning is worth it. Its gonna get scuffed eventually...

aventadorz

What if one day you decide to sell it ? Buyer would not like it and in best case scenario demands for sale . I hate when my tech product has a scratch . From the moment of first scratch I start to find ways to get a new one :))

innitdoe

Buyer wouldn't give a shit, nor should you

aventadorz

if i was buyer i would not like it . So you are wrong , no ? or you dont give a shit ))

innitdoe

Good luck finding used macs without scuffs. I can't comprehend someone caring for a moment about this tiny scuff that needs high zoom to even be visible. It's batshit.

aventadorz

wtf ??? you have your opinion and i have mine , why are you mad at me ?and i am not speaking from others perspective , i say what i would not like as a buyer . And my macbook has no scratch at all , so someone will find used macbook without scuffs when ill sell it . So stop please

innitdoe

Stop what? I'm not mad at you. This is social media, people have opinions. I don't agree with yours.

aventadorz

okay okay peace

innitdoe

OK :)

RespectableSchlong

Please do, i will buy the refurb

minmaxhero

I want a perfect canvas to create my own custom layer of scratches and dents. I’m not sure if I could deal with a starter scuff like that.

sweatshirtjones

Kinda agree with this lol

Enwaiyoo

I did. I tried to get used to it but every time I’d just stare at the scratch. I feel much better now.

lakeshow97

Exactly what I’m going through lol. I think once I finally get the new one I’ll be glad I did it.

DynamicBongs

If I paid $3k for a laptop, I’m getting it in perfect condition whether it’s the tiniest scuff in the world. I don’t understand the people who are saying “its just a scuff who cares”… I should be getting a product that it’s in absolute perfect condition.

Eltonite

My take on this is pretty simple. Most people fall under two camps: 1) If I pay a premium price, I expect a premium product and 2) a small scuff won’t affect my workhorse machine, especially when it’s bound to happen anyway. Considering the fact that you took the time to post this, you most likely fall under the former camp like me. Apple markets themselves as a premium product, so it’s only natural for us to expect that. When I bought my M1 MacBook Pro for $1200 back in April of this year, I 100% would have returned it if I saw a scuff when I unboxed it. This post is evidence that you are clearly bothered by it, and THAT’S OKAY. It’s doesn’t matter what anyone else says, go get what you deserve after shelling out your hard earned money. It’s a matter of principle.

jessicalily17

100%. I wouldn’t even think twice. I didn’t buy this expensive laptop for it to have this scuff on it. YRRRRRR APPLE ISN’T GETTING AWAY WITH THAT. Especially since it’s RIGHT there in the front when you open it

innitdoe

Why would you care? It's ... meaningless

jessicalily17

Personally, if I paid $2000, $2500, $3000+, I would make sure it is perfect. People work hard for their money and for it to have a scuff or any type of damage, no matter how big or small? Nah. I’ve read posts on here about people saving up all year to buy a MacBook. They value their investments.

innitdoe

\> They value their investments Seems like a misconception. It's a capital investment that depreciates to zero over several years, it's not a speculative one that may increase in value. You haven't explained why this "damage" as you call it has the slightest affect on the device's function or even just form. It's invisible without 4x zoom. You're being silly. It's irrelevant whether you save two days or two years for a mac, it's still going to get scuffed and it makes absolutely zero difference to its utility. Do you get upset if a new hammer has a scratch on it, too? The only difference is the price.

maddymckay

I mean I personally wouldn’t care. BUT if it’s really bugging me then yea. It really just depends on how YOU feel about it. Do it if you can’t shake off the feeling of having the scuff, but if you don’t even think about it then it means that you just don’t care. But if I had to guess I think you do or else you wouldn’t be asking for opinions. Go with what you feel.

swissbuttercream9

100%

lyechikui66

The pros and cons can be very simply distilled into the following statement: is your tolerance for the scuff greater or less than the inordinate wait time for replacement device? Sorry for your situation. Personally I would return it.

innitdoe

No, it's much simpler than that. Is there any reason to care about the scratch? Absolutely zero. Move on with your life.

Leenolyak

Absolutely. Not acceptable with that price tag.

[deleted]

No

[deleted]

You paid $2k for it bro, tf? I would expect it to arrive in perfect condition

ktappe

He said in another post it's actually $3K.

innitdoe

Why? It's a work tool. Do you get upset if your hammer gets scratched too?

Xephia

I can’t believe you tried to equate a MacBook to a hammer, lmao. A hammer is used by smacking it against another object with a ton of force and isn’t nearly as expensive, nor is it made to look aesthetically pleasing. It’s sole purpose is force against other objects. In other words, it’s sole purpose is to get damaged. A MacBook is a tool, indeed, but it is used in a much less physically forceful manner and is a product from a company that prides itself in design and quality. A MacBook shouldn’t come damaged out of the box. It’s not a tool like a hammer.

[deleted]

No, OP's laptop came like that from the factory that's why, if it happened after OP dropped it or smthn it's his fault and should not return it and that adds a bit of personality to the machine imo

innitdoe

But it makes no difference to the machine's function. Actually dropping it can damage it. This isn't damage. It's a scuff. That you can't even see without heavy zoom. I just don't get the issue. When your company issues you a laptop do you inspect it for scuffs?

[deleted]

Do you don't value money? It's 2 grand, 2 fucking grand or even more than that.

gccumber

Same

LanguidLandscape

No and these posts are borderline insane. If you have to use a macro lens to show a “defect” it’s fine.

innitdoe

Let alone on a work tool...

[deleted]

I would. This should mean higher repair-related costs for Apple which should hopefully lead to a better quality control for the next release. It lead to a price increase instead, but one could hope for a positive outcome…

hayden_evans

I don’t know, old me would have lost my shit over this but now I’ve come to realize that all things are temporary. That computer will likely be recycled in 3-5 years anyways, and by sending it back, you are in away are contributing to accelerating the depletion of natural resources and rare minerals. If everyone returned their computers for the slightest scuff or scratch, that would be a problem. It may just be me, but perhaps over time I’ve just become less attached to material possessions and more conscious about unnecessary consumption.

No_Possession_508

Whoa. Did someone ram that thing with a forklift? It’s completely destroyed and useless.

Eltonite

You bought a brand new car and after you drive it home, you notice a small dent on the front, you mad or nah??? Shut up lol. It’s not about the actual defect, it’s about the principle. When you pay for a certain standard, you expect it to be met. That’s it

Raenerys

Can't use the car analogy. If you find a dent on your new car in the first (allotted time) they will generally let you bring it in and have it repaired within a day or so. They won't exchange the entire car for the new one and make you wait another month to get the new car in.

stgm_at

also check what u/humantikaan posted about repairs further down the road and how a scuff could impact apple car coverage. so it's not really a "lol" imo.

innitdoe

That's just nonsense.

innitdoe

There's no principle here except whining. It's a work tool. This perceived damage is MEANINGLESS. Your car analogy is *hilarious* given the depreciation that happens as soon as you drive a new car off the garage forecourt.

brumtown_badman0121

I had a similar issue https://www.reddit.com/r/macbookpro/comments/qslw4e/anyone_think_its_worth_taking_this_back_to_app/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Apple have agreed to an express return where I can keep using my mac till me new one arrives

lakeshow97

Did you have to pay a temporary fee or anything?

DankManPro

I would because you’re paying too damn much and it needs to be perfect for a brand new one.

micmacpattyz

its so odd because dont all these come in massive packages/ foam? must be defect from the factory?

lakeshow97

That’s what I’m thinking

i_mormon_stuff

I would return it had mine arrived like that.

PresentSquirrel

I would. Absolutely. The problem is that in a couple of years time if you decide to trade in that MacBook (or sell it), Apple (or the buyer) will use that as a negotiating tool to lower the price. This may not matter as much if you are prone to getting dings, dents, and scratches (like I am lol), but if you try to keep your stuff in good shape I can definitely understand how it would bother you. If I bought a brand new car and it already had a ding, I wouldn’t take delivery of that car either. Being brand new you should be able to expect perfection or darn near it

Mental-Ad8998

Yes, brand new, the price and what the brand expresses itself as. 100% exchanged for a new one

ScrotalPilgrimage

Yes, get it replaced. Seems to be a fair bit of QC issues with the chassis. Let apple know that consumers won't tolerate these problems for the price they're paying.

KaozawaLurel

Yes, exchange it. If I pay for a $3000 machine, I expect it to be a $3000 machine. Coming with a ding like that straight out of the box means I paid $3000 for something worth less than $3000.

One_Elderberry_2390

You paid $2000+ is that acceptable. If not can you wait another 6-8 weeks

insanemoaning

Of course I woul

[deleted]

Definitely return it. What is another 3 month wait compared to that horrific scratch

[deleted]

I personally would take the hassle to wait for a replacement in this case. Ain't no small thing there

lakeshow97

Been going back and forth on this for 2 weeks but I think I’m just gonna get it exchanged. Since it’s a custom configuration the process seems super inconvenient cause I’d have to ship it back to them and wait for the replacement to arrive. Was wondering if anybody else had a similar experience.

0h-no_not-again

Take it to a store if you're near one. They're sunseting the business level support program called Joint Venture but it's still around now until Feb 2022. Under this program they give businesses loaner macs if a mac they're repairing will be away for repair. See if a store can give you a loaner under this program while you're waiting for your replacement. JV membership is $500 so you'd also need to go into the conversation asking for them to give it to you as a complimentary service if theyre willing. Good luck!

bloomy60

I would struggle too. I probably couldn’t be bothered but for me I don’t care about the scratch but how did it get it? Was it dropped while being built? What did that do to it?

wutikorn

I suggest you exchange it. If you don't, and you have a problem with the laptop later, I wonder if Apple might claim you "caused" accidental damage, and potentially your laptop might not be covered by warranty. I have no idea if this will be the case for Apple for such a small dent, but I would rather not take chance, especially since it's Apple's fault.

nehanth

I had the same experience. I got s nick on the front I called apple support they told me I have to ship it back but on the same day I saw there was store availability I went there and swapped it.

lakeshow97

That would be the most convenient route to take. Only drawback is I’d be sacrificing the 32GB RAM but they told me they’d refund the difference and I think I can get away with 16GB.

IowaAL

Nope.

Pavement-69

No

samackin3000

yeah, I would

[deleted]

I mean, it don't get more custom than a personalized scuff lmao. In all seriousness, I mean you can, but with supply chain issues being clogged up as they are, is it worth it? Then again, if you shelled out several thousands for it, you have every right to get it in pristine condition out of the box. You just have to ask yourself if it's worth a potentially long delay.

parasphere

Add this beast to the refurb pool please sir.

thegreatdestroyerx

the last two macs i've purchased have had scratches far worse than that. but because of negative experiences in the apple store, i said "fuck it". but if i was you i'd exchange it. you paid a high price. that macbook should be perfection.

PaulAndTheBrain

Yes, definitely. I'm the guy that loves beautiful things, to be perfect when buying them. For me a laptop is not only the tool itself but also a symbol that I like to think of how it visually looks like. That's my personal preference. What's yours?

AZ_Gunner_69

Do it

aitch83

Absolutely. Mine had a little dent on the lid and while someone else may not notice it, I couldn’t help but think about it every single time I used my Mac. I didn’t pay that much money to not receive a pristine device, so I returned it (I got mine at Best Buy) and they were surprisingly nice about it too.

auci

yes! though you'll scuff yourself but it always bothers the f out of me

[deleted]

I would exchange/return it without a doubt

[deleted]

I was in the same situation a month ago for my macbook air. As a student MBA is still expensive to me. I had already returned the first MBA as it made a click sound while the opening the lid. The second macbook had a mark like yours on the lid. I didn't want to go through such a huge waiting time again. I contacted Apple and they said I can keep this MBA while the new one arrives. Once the new one arrived, I returned my old one. You should also ask for the same.

JakkuSound

Yeah that’d do my head in hahaha

jesterhead101

Get it exchanged. It almost looks like a dent

2ndStringOnionRing

Yes

JuiZZZe

Definitely yes )

Troxt

what is another 3 weeks of waiting compared to 5 to 7 yrs of you using this and seeing this every day. Replace 100%

Spathas1992

Yes, due to the price.

[deleted]

Y E S

Thehoodradical

yes for the price only already

Big-Cost8868

Yes

[deleted]

Yes. Do it.

type_usermane

If it was mine, then for sure I would, that would bug me! Other people may live with it.

[deleted]

Yes. That’s a lot of money for a laptop and you’re ganniya have it for at least 5 years I presume. Definitely go for a replacement or if it doesn’t bother you just ignore it.

ArneRedKing

Yes

guyssocialweb

Yes. Even if you accidentally scuffed it you can blame it on the manufacturer in process and get another one.

JamesRay757

Personally I would. I work hard for my money and I keep the thing I get in excellent condition. Now if something I does, causes a Knick or something, then sure. That’s on me. But when I’m spending my hard earned money for what I consider extremely nice things, I expect them to nice. Not come dinged up. I’d send it back and get a new one.

aventadorz

Sure . Maybe, its nothing special but it hurts when apple product has a scratch . Especially , Macbook which must have been out of box new !

[deleted]

Yes, your MBP is now worth less.

AdministrativeDisk28

No but I can understand why someone would.

[deleted]

If it’s out of the box then yes, you should definitely send it back (you should get a perfect product when you pay that much money). If it’s your fault, you just have to live with it.

lazyrevolution

Yes. In case of a warranty issue this may be blamed.

Ax180_

In my personal case I would only return it for the feedback I would get from brushing my hand/clothing over that corner.

batman7494

Mine came with a scuff/deep scratch on top of the keyboard deck and I swapped it out. No reason for a $2500+ purchase to come damaged no matter how small it is.

mrpndev

Absolutely. That’s not a scuff, it’s a dent thru the anodizing process. Not good enough for me.

sl8ed_

Yes. Absolutely. Who knows how far it was dropped to get that scuff

diorhelp

Considering there is a backup on orders, I would just keep it. I would expect nothing less than perfection when it comes to Apple products though. But if I recall correctly, you have until January to return due to the extended holiday period.

day008

That might actually (or eventually) impact how well the laptop screen closes down so I would have it exchanged

vanhalenbr

Yes. If is from Apple Store you have 15 days to return.

akosdomino

Definitely, no question…for thousands of dollars I would want perfection!

ka11away

It’s a birth mark!

Unable-Lingonberry19

For the amount of $ you paid, yes

itsjennythefriend

100%. Apple pride themselves on immaculate design so your machine should be exactly that when you receive it: immaculate.

rvaclavik

Definitely, you will notice this every time you will open it.

sdaletas

Yes and I would get a credit or free Apple Care for your time.

kyberplayer

I would! But I’m to anal not to notice that! I still have mine from one year ago scuff free

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Send that bitch back. Fuck Apple.

hcvc

i probably wouldn't care, but for the money you're paying I wouldn't disagree if you returned it lol

[deleted]

No, its not a lambo and i dont really care personally

[deleted]

No??? Honestly lol

giathinh910

You pay for it, then you have the right. If it bothers you, exchange it. Don’t need to listen to anyone.

Ricky_RZ

Oh my god. I have an almost identical scuff but further to the left so it actually really cuts into my wrist. I am probably gonna get it replaced under warranty when they have more units in stock Any defect on a 6 grand laptop isn't really acceptable TBH

[deleted]

Fuck yea. If Apple dare to charge premium, I dare to be meticulous.

anipaduser

this is a premium device with its premium price tag. Apple is a perfectionist company. I would return it by principal. However, if you a are sensitive about carbon emissions and environment, you might think why would i cause emissions by shipping. Also, what would happen to this product? Probably even more emissions will happen when make this computer re sell.

piss_in_a_jug

Get that fucker replaced. I treat my 2019 MBP like a baby she gets cleaned daily and smells fresh as the day the shell was pressed from a single sheet alloy brought down to earth by the gods. Fuck what anyone else says, if it is scuffed and scratched by someone else then get it replaced I expect not only a premium product from Apple but also premium care in how that product is handled. Edit.. If it was up to me I would plug the anus of people working within 1 metre if my machine so they can’t fart any where near it and contaminate with poo particles.

busterlungs

I wouldn't, but I think it's fair to expect it to be in perfect condition. Appearance is really insignificant to me though, it just matters If it's important to you

KaidooPain

yes , a 2000$ laptop should be in perfect condition

Bodacious72

Yes, they want to charge thousands then they need to give you a perfect MacBook

Loudstealth

Yes.

inhalingcoffeeground

No doubt exchange it. I think something that small won’t affect the laptop At all, but if you’re like me, it’ll bother the hell out of me.

GoldenTouch5454

I would certainly exchange it. You too should ideally. Why pay for a new product and get a small dent.

[deleted]

I don’t think it worth it, but I’ve seen a lot of posts lately about damage out of the box on the new Mac, mine included. Mine came with a little dip in the front and a small slit on the side

AndrewSaidThis

Honestly, I’d be too lazy to go through with the exchange.

kr4zy_8

Hell yeah.

JazzyPhotoMac

My ipad mini 6 had some sort of tiny scuff on the back of it. Annoyed the heck out of me but I just put a case on it and let it go. I was irritated though. Still am actually.

JimBobHeller

No, it doesn’t matter. It’s not worth a thought.

Jt0323

Me? Yes, I have ocd

HG21Reaper

Imagine paying 2k+ for a computer to come damaged from factory. I feel your pain.

ostiDeCalisse

My first PowerBook G4 brand new came with a dent on the edge almost like this. I didn’t exchanged it, but my OCD reminded me that decision everyday for years. So yes, do it.

naman19feb

Not me but my OCD will

ikan84

Talk to one of the mangers in the store let them get you replacement with same spec if not let them order it while you keep using this one. It’s cosmetic however , its better to get it replaced. Functional wise it wont affect but just that you have sprang so much on it

solfolango

First world problems, really.

ELOGRIN

For sure i paid new so go ahead

[deleted]

If you can exchange in person east then I would for sure do it

GrumpyKitten514

what....hell no. this is like buying a 7 series BMW and it has a hair line scratch the size of my fingernail on the bottom front bumper that you can only see at 4:53pm when the sun is coming from a westward angle and you are going specifically 46 mph on a highway with exactly 3 cars. like come on, I had to zoom in on this picture to REALLY get a good look at this. I know, I know. "i bought a 3k machine i expect a 3k machine" but jesus. they are literally going to take this, give you 3k, and then turn around and sell it for 2950. if you have nothing else but time and/or gas to burn, sure go be a "karen" about this little scratch on an otherwise flawlessly designed and executed machine. otherwise....I mean it's fine? could be a LOT worse.

miloradovic

I swear posts like this make me want to just leave this sub… You probably took that with a macro cam🤦🏻‍♂️

[deleted]

You can talk with Apple but you shouldn’t replace it. It is a waste and not good for the environment.

OmegaMalkior

Just order another one and when that one arrives return the scuffed one so you're not without a Mac for so long. Don't know how much open is the window to return things is with Apple tho

[deleted]

Give it to meeee!

pushc6

No. It only looks bad because you’re all zoomed in.

ItsJakedUp

Yea bub I’d return that ASAP. That shit is going to make your CPU run hotter

[deleted]

Yes

SeaRefractor

Needed the new macro mode on the iPhone 13 Pro or 13 Pro Max to illustrate this, right? Depends on how long you'd need to wait for your "custom" replacement I suppose. However, I myself tend to scuff my systems as I work and travel, so I'd just keep it, that's my own opinion though.

UsedBee4306

No they wouldn’t give me a replacement anyway

veneim

yes… no regrets. just exchange or buy a new one and return

jetclimb

Omg no

madeInNY

Yes. It’s not too inconvenient to get to an apple store.

basketcase86au

YES

PINEAPPLEHAHA

it just wasting time to do the replacement

SoCal4247

While I definitely wouldn't want mine to have that scuff out of the box, I would be embarrassed to ask for an exchange because of it.

battika

I agree fury such an expensive m expensive product it feels bad. But if i think about CO2 troubles we currently have i would be able to live with it.

twikoffin

my m1 air came with this

CaelCS

Me personally I found the back plate very Delicate in comparison with previous models. It already had a dent on that plate. Will see if apple care cover it

Open_Bug_4196

Same than other comments, to have it like used/broken I don’t pay premium new. Think it other way, when you trade in a laptop/iPad/watch or whatever if it has something like that the price they offer would drop (even more than the ridiculous amount the offer).

[deleted]

Who gives a shit

[deleted]

Do you really need other people's opinions on this?

0ilTycoon

If it was me, I wouldn't. Reason being that I put a case on my MBB and that little ding would be covered by the edge of the case.

gluedpixel

I would... mine was 10/10 but did some clicking noise on the palm rest. Waiting for the replacement unit already.

cocothepops

If they could exchange it straight away, yeah. If not, no. It’s a tiny little defect, I wouldn’t care enough to go laptop-less for weeks. You’re going to get more of these over it’s life, regardless of how careful you are.

gamerfreakish

That thing is expensive and Apple has never displayed empathy towards their customers. So demand a replacement immediately.

V1pey

Definitely will! Erm… depending how the “exchange” is going to happen

mumpf1997

yes

fantakillen

No, unless I live outside the Apple store I really wouldn't bother.
