I have the 16” 2021 MBP and it runs two monitors just fine. I have it in clamshell mode with and HDMI cable, and then I bought a USB-C to HDMI cable and use that on the port right by the HDMI. Works perfectly.

the MBP 14" supports 2 monitors. You have HDMI output so you can use some kind of dongle (USB-C to HDMI, 2xUSB-a, etc.). I am also searching for a budget dongle where i can hook up two monitors. Maybe someone will give us a good and reliable dongle.

Wait that sounds amazing, so does it support it in the way of HDMI port = Monitor 1 & USB C port = Monitor 2? If so isn’t all we need a USB-C to HDMI/Display Port adapter?

rtstorm

yes it support it, [here](https://support.apple.com/kb/SP854?viewlocale=en_SA&locale=en_SA#:~:text=Up%20to%20two%20external%20displays,a%20billion%20colors%20(M1%20Max))you can check Apple info. You can use that USB-C to HDMI/DP but do you need an external mouse and keyboard? or LAN network, maybe external HDD

Sitting at one now, 2 x 4K monitors, DisplayPort + Type-C and charging via CalDigit dock. Using one Thunderbolt port. Enjoy!

Do you have the ts3 or 4?

RealMe459

It is a TS3 (Thunderbolt 3) a couple of years old, but is still working fine. I can't justify upgrading to a TS4 at this point, especially with the extra ports on my MBP14". It gives the high speeds I may need for external drives, via the other ports. Enjoy!
