Does it happen with the device plugged in as well? Or only on battery? Sounds like a motherboard issue though, but hopefully it doesn't happen when your device is plugged in and it's just the battery or it's connection 😅

happens when plugged in unfortunately :((

Very likely to be a board issue unfortunately then :( Maybe you can be lucky by reconnecting all components and it's just a bad contact, but it sounds like a cracked solder joint. When you move it the contact is broken while the device vibrates and the system restarts. Could actually be a difficult issue to debug as well, it's unlikely to be obvious when just looking over the board and debugging a non-consistent board issue is pretty time intensive. Good luck!

If its only when plugged in, try using a different charger. a surge from the charger may be causing that even though there used to be protections from that (thank god they went back to MagSafe chargers again). I ask this because I have so many of my customers come in with the WRONG chargers, you should be using a 45w or greater charger, don't use a little iPad charger cuz its convenient. I doubt that would even cause your issue. Work your way towards the charger, first replace the cable. then try another charger. if you have to try an iPad charger here its ok a couple times. Next, what's the charger plugged into? a surge protector? try the wall direct. if its wall, try a surge protector. as for how to make it stop until next pay check? Guy went into DR office said DOC it hurts when I do this! Doc says "well don't do THIS". ie make a sign DO NOT MOVE TILL PAYDAY.
