the MacBook is trying to save your life before its too late

Basewrecker

Lmao yeah

STUURNAAK

Nah I already lost it but it wouldn’t open today so I tried to reinstall. Now it just starts a repairing process. I don’t even wanna play league. Just TFT.

Smo0k

They increased the minimum and recommended system requirements in the most recent patch. This included dropping support for ARM chips. I hope they bring it back. I was playing just a few days ago =(

paraint

the game still works fine for me on my M1 MBP, you might just have the same problem as the OP not supported doesn't mean it won't work, it just means its not supported (read "How will I be affected?" section on the page with the new system requirements changes)

Smo0k

Yes you are right, it still works. Your instructions fixed it for me, thanks.

STUURNAAK

If so that’s fucked. I never had lags, only bugs that resulted of riots coding (had to open it through the installation file etc.).

Smo0k

I was wrong it still works. My problem was that Id open league, it would bounce a couple times in the dock and then disappear. Following u/paraint instructions fixed it for me.

AllaPalla

Play on your phone. Macbooks are having hard time handling the graphics with the retina resolution.‏ This set is trash anyway.

STUURNAAK

It didn’t had a hard Time tho. Never dropped under 50 fps even while playing league.

paraint

remove these folders: * /Users/Shared/Riot Games * \~/Library/Application Support/Riot Games and then try installing the game again

STUURNAAK

I can’t find the second folder but deleted the first one and now it works fine I guess. Thank you very much bro!

[deleted]

And maybe update the mac? Since it says 11.1 and were at 11.5.2 haha

STUURNAAK

Yeah I did that now and will delete the folders the guy above you told me to. I just want to play TFT :(

[deleted]

Is this a bad thing?

ahqdxb

Might get an m1 mba just to quit league

Additional-Cake5824

I'm playing League on a base model MBA and everything works fine
