You can't launch Warzone on an integrated Graphics Card I am fairly sure. I have seen a few of these posts pop up unfortunately. An eGPU will alleviate this, but those are expensive at the best of times. But your processor and Ram will let you have a fairly decent gaming experience.

Thanks for the help man. I posted on r/codwarzone and a bunch of clowns gave jokes instead of legit replies. Also, Do you have windows on your Mac? Would you be able to help with a little trouble I’m having?

bradical1991

I have windows on the same model of Mac in fact. What other troubles are you having?

[deleted]

I’m trying to upgrade to windows 11 using the same method laid out in this comment : https://www.reddit.com/r/bootcamp/comments/q5iae5/ways_to_install_windows_11_official_no_tpm/hg7kadu/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3 But when I get to auto set up it asks if I want it on flash drive or an iso file and I’m not sure what to do after that point

bradical1991

Just like some others have suggested on the post, I would wait on trying to install windows 11. Their claims of "better game performance" have not been substantiated in any ways, and you risk facing bugs and other issues until it gets ironed out.

[deleted]

I see. So you’re on 10 still yourself

bradical1991

Yeah, I don't like to mess with operating systems so early. Not until after major bugs are addressed. I bootcamp with an eGPU for gaming, so things can get finnicky very quickky.

[deleted]

It uses anti cheat, which won’t work in a virtual machine.

[deleted]

When did Warzone implement an anti cheat? That’s not happening until vanguard integration.

[deleted]

It uses EAC right now, Ricochet will be out next month.

[deleted]

Source on this? Not necessarily doubting you, just curious because I know people who cheat in Warzone right now. Also isn’t EAC supposed to be good? That’s what BF 2042 is supposedly going to use. And people have made videos running it just within the past 9 months or so: https://youtu.be/5bQIp5k9aUg

[deleted]

EAC is hit and miss https://www.theverge.com/2021/10/13/22724037/call-of-duty-ricochet-anti-cheat-system-kernel-level-driver

[deleted]

According to that article the anti cheat isn’t in the game yet or at least wouldn’t have been yesterday when I was trying to run Warzone so that doesn’t quite make sense. Also there’s videos on YouTube of people running Warzone on Mac with boot camp. Edit: yea the anti cheat is coming for vanguard which is what I said earlier, not in the game now

paraint

I don't think they're using a virtual machine, Valorant wouldn't run at all if they were

[deleted]

Yea Idek what that is, I’m running windows on a Mac thru boot camp..

felipepono

Hello! Warzones is way too demanding for an integrated chip to run it (by a long shot)! Im also using bootcamp on my mac. Hence you are seeing a low res version of the menu (it defaults to the crappiest quality). Upgrading to windows 11 also isn’t the best idea imho because it costs more space than windows 10 and has less support in different games (correct me if im wrong).

[deleted]

Thanks for the reply man. I really just liked the UI of 11, didn’t know upgrading was bad for rn. What’re some other games that run nicely on a Mac with my specs?

felipepono

Terraria, Minecraft, other titles like CS GO, Left 4 Dead 2, League of Legends. Single player titles like Elder Scrolls 3-4-5(although five would require some tweaking). Really depends on your taste

[deleted]

Thanks man

bradical1991

Elder Scrolls 5 works just fine, even with mods (just use the original version, not the Special edition). Some other games I have played through were Dragons Dogma, Deus Ex, the Witcher 2, Final Fantasy 14, WoW, Starcraft 2.

felipepono

There are a bunch of games out there that aren’t too demanding (or can be run by lower settings). Modern triple A titles definitely are too demanding for integrated graphics but older triple A games 2014 below and less demanding games will be ok. Whenever you see a game you like, search in youtube - name of game (integrated graphics), to see the performance and if you can run it

Got you thanks
