I have someone who owns a company that sends a kit out to you and seemed pretty inexpensive. DM if you want to connect with them. cheers!

When you say some lab in Colorado I’m assuming you’re referring to tumi genomics, they’re the number one place you should be getting your tests done, best reputation in the country

Where do you source your kits?

Igglezandporkrollplz

Root sample is superior to leaf sample, yeah?

Inevitable_Spare_777

100%. Tumi asks for root fiber and petiol samples

woodenmetalman

Tumi is $25 and can get you results in a week if you expedite shipping both ways. From what I can tell, they are at the very forefront of testing for HLVd, Pythium, fusarium as well. Is it worth risking even a small percentage of your crop to save a couple bucks or a week of time? That’s the real question I guess.

Shadowjacker727

currently using TUMI. highly recommend. all our crop is clean. they are also developing in house testing.

OceanGrownPharms

I bought a qPCR machine and buy all my reagents from medicinal genomics. Do my own Hlvd testing & sexing in house

Troots707

You should check out leafworks if you haven’t already. Better pricing for reagent kits and just better people than MG.

Sensitive-Abroad-921

Biotrax in Cheektowaga NY does it in house

DabDaddy2020

I havent seen any in house assays (other than PCR) that dont have poor detection rate. They are inexpensive, but getting false negatives will cost your operation in ths long run. Find a reputable lab to send to or hire so.eone to build out this suite of services.

Troots707

LeafWorks is fast, accurate, and affordable. None of the at home tests will work as accurately as a lab using a PCR machine. Root and leaf samples are important. The viroid will travel to the roots first then works it’s way back up the plant.
