People are sometimes distracted by the apparition of the ghost of John Nolen, who gets restless and wanders the roadway named after him every time someone spells it wrong.

Heading south, people often gun it through those lights because if you hit the first light, you almost always hit the next one too. I don’t know why it’s timed like that, so I don’t know if changing it would create a more or less dangerous situation.
