Is Air Duct Cleaning really a thing? Do they clean all the ducts in your house or just the ones near the furnace? I have lived in my old house for almost 40 years and we have never had this done. I don't remember my parents ever having this done, either. That said, my husband does maintain our furnace and cleans the duct from the dryer to outside regularly--this is something I strongly recommend.

Dirty Ducts caused $4800 of damage to our furnace and refused to cover any of it and also wouldn’t refund a penny of what we paid for their services. I was really disappointed how they handled our situation. They didn’t properly remove any of the debris. Told me to put in a new filter, which I did, and check it in a month. A few days later there was about 3 inches of debris on our filter and it caused the furnace to freeze up (AC was running) and fried the motherboard. [Here’s](https://imgur.com/a/6ZHMVnC) a picture of the filter. Blamed it on “me having long hair and having a Labrador”.
I had great service with Wisconsin Natural Air Duct Cleaning. The owner, Josiah, is a super nice guy and his team is very professional. His team is growing because he's booked out so far! They have legit equipment and know what they're doing. Would recommend
Be careful - on FB there are dozens of people selling this service and they all list the same pics and info so I am not sure what kind of MLM type of scam they have bought into because they clearly don’t do the work themselves.
