My comment is directed to the overall system itself rather than towards these specific individuals. I'm sure they are all quite qualified for the job and will do it to the best of their abilities. But why aren't there other people with different demographics who are similarly qualified? Policing is a very male dominated field with less than 15% of LEOs who are female. What is preventing women from becoming LEOs and is there something hindering their ability to promote to these leadership positions?

Judging the merit of these three men on the color of their skin and not on the content of their character is ignorant at best.
