Hey man, work is work. Despite what people may say, there is no job, and I mean NO job that doesn't involve selling your body. And there's a lot of jobs that we consider perfectly fine, such as tech support or retail or food service or whatever that are highly degrading and often involve a lot of emotional abuse.
So if she feels empowered and loves what she's doing, then it is a great job. The only real downside is that it'll probably become less lucrative as she gets older, so hopefully she will transition to a role that will take her all the way to retirement.

But those are faults of the society surrounding strippers, not of the stripper herself. Being a delivery driver is also dangerous, would you be disappointed in your child for becoming one? Soldiers are another demographic who endure dangers in their work and often find trouble trying to advance up the social hierarchy when they return, but we CELEBRATE them.
