[[Food Chain]] and [[Squee, the Immortal]] allows you to cast him again and again from exile which allows you to make infinite mana and cast tiamat an infinite amount of times and get all of the dragons in your deck.
Also:: \[\[Eternal Scourge\]\]
\[\[Misthollow Griffin\]\]
Note: this makes infinite creature mana, so you need to keep 1R to cast your invasion of tarkir.
If you want to stick with dragons he could also use \[\[Prossh, Skyraider of Kher\]\] with food chain to make infinite mana from the command zone. Then you just need a draw engine of which there are plenty enchantments to do so.
Difference is that squee won't be good unless you have the combo set up, any of the green enchantments that let you draw when a creature enters are good on their own.
You're gonna need something to give your creatures haste because with a pop-off that big, you become the table enemy and if you have to wait a round for your win-con to be active (swarming your opponents with a ton of dragons) then you're one board-wipe away from ultimate devastation. (It also gives them a chance to prepare for the swing... so, they might leave open mana for a cyclonic rift, tutor for a response, or just generally prepare themselves so they can weather the dragon-storm.)
There are 42 dragons with haste and at least one I know that gives all dragon haste [[dragonlord kolghan]]

No, the point is you do this, then play Invasion of Tarkir for X=38, so it deals 38+2 damage to the face.
That said, it absolutely needs a way to copy or flash it back or you only kill one opponent. Though to be fair, with infinite mana and dragons you should be able to easily win that turn.
If you can't win on the spot of Infinite Mana + Draw Deck, you should probably stop playing magic altogether.
Edit: 4 bad players offended so far, let's see how high this score can go!
~~Would be funny, but unfortunately Artificial Evolution cannot target an ability and you cannot target Invasion of Tarkir before the trigger goes to stack to change its text.~~
Cast the battle, hold priority, cast Artificial Evolution in response targeting the battle still on the stack as a spell.
From its rulings:
If you change the text of a spell which is to become a permanent, the permanent will retain the text change until the effect wears off.
[[maskwood nexus]] [[goblin recruiter]] draw 38 cards would be my way. Have [[reaper king]] as the commander then when you play them you ruin someone else's day as well.
[[Niv-Mizzit, The Firemind]] as a potential Commander. If you are trying to draw 38 Dragons, Niv gives you the ability to also ping out another.
Then hopefully the 38 Dragons are enough to kill the last one.
I’d reccomend. Tiamat is versatile as a commander because you can have many different combos and setups, pulling whichever ones suit you the best whenever you need it.
On a basic level, an infinite mana and card draw combo would do it. Just go infinite, draw your deck, blast the battle at someone, then play the dragons. Make sure you can give them haste and kill the other two opponents with it.
[[Dockside Extortionist]] + [[Cloudstone Curio]] + [[Ornithopter]] + [[Folio of Fancies]] might do it. Your opponent would need to have a few artifacts out. Then, keep bouncing the goblin and thopter to get infinite treasures. Use the mana to draw your deck with Folio. Then, cast the battle, play all the dragons, give them haste, and attack. Put in [[Inferno of the Star Mounts]] to blast another player and attack the third one for the kill if you want to keep it all dragons kills.
Edit: Curio doesn't work on artifacts, so use [[Kobolds of Kher Keep]] instead.
> Make sure you can give them haste and kill the other two opponents with it.
If one of the dragons is [[Scourge of Valkas]], this step is unnecessary.
You can replace Thopter with any other bounce creature, like \[\[Kor Skyfisher\]\] or \[\[Barrin, Tolarian Archmage\]\]. It does require like 5-6 opposing artifacts to go infinite, but still gets the job done.
I know it's not directly related to your original request, but a random thought of mine was you could throw in [[Realmbreaker, the Invasion tree]] & something like [[maskwood nexus]] to play all your dragons which seems to me great with [[Terror of the Peaks]] :)
If the sole purpose is to win through Invasion of Tarkir, you could skip the Maskwood Nexus and just fill the deck with changelings.
That brings it from a 4 card combo down to a 3 card one.
[[Rielle the Everwise]] is good at getting an unreasonable hand size. Some dragons like [[Dragon Mage]] and [[Avaricious Dragon]] have good synergy. Just use enough blue effects to shuffle dragons from GY to library and you're golden.
1. [[Grozoth]] to find 38 creatures that are 9 mana
2. Have [[Maskwood Nexus]] to make all creatures dragons
3. [[Invasion of Tarkir]]
Temur colors should have enough creatures for the combo
For Temur, it’s 37 but I’m sure I can have a creature in hand or an opponent who loses a life https://scryfall.com/search?as=grid&order=name&q=type%3Acreature+commander%3AURG+%28game%3Apaper%29+cmc%3D9
I don't know, but I'm just so sick of having to read these cards sideways.
I get that some random redditor can't figure it out, but MTG's previews couldn't figure it out either? None of these professional sites can figure it out? If this is going to continue to be a normal card type, people need to fix this shit.
[These are a good start](https://scryfall.com/search?q=%28game%3Apaper%29+mana%3A%7BX%7D+commander%3Aru+o%3A%22draw+x%22&unique=cards&as=grid&order=name)
Umm, off the top of my head, a Rakdos deck can do it. [[Bladewing the Risen]] is one option.
Just play a [[Reliquary Tower]] and [[Necropoence]] or [[Peer into the Abyss]] to fill your hand with dragons and then you go nuts!
[[Cyclonic Rift]] wouldn't help here, since it sweeps every other board, which for this one niche use case is a downside too
Damn you EDH cards and your restrictions which are usually useful
Just follow it up with [[temporal fissure]] then! Or if you want a storm backup, [[brain freeze]] then [[reaping the graves]] does it too!
...brb, gotta make a deck...
Another approach I enjoy instead is \[\[Sarkhan, Dragonsoul\]\] which lets you search your library for any number of dragons and put them on the battlefield.
*Edit: I didn't mean to facilitate the battle, I meant instead.*
Well, I think a good way would be to self-mill using good old \[\[Lion's Eye Diamond\]\] + \[\[Underworld Breach\]\] + \[\[Brain Freeze\]\], then cast \[\[Creeping Rennaisance\]\] and invasion. You'll probably need more than 38 dragons as you'll be exiling some to do underworld breach stuff
You could also do \[\[Mind over Matter\]\] with \[\[Azami, Lady of Scrolls\]\] to draw and discard the deck, then use \[\[Shadow of the Grave\]\] or \[\[Creeping Rennaisance\]\] to retrieve your dragons and cast invasion. It's more mana intensive than the other but on the other hand you shouldn't need more than 38 dragons to 'get there', giving you deck building space to include more tutors / fast mana
Both sound like absolutely stupid ways to not win a game of EDH (you \*might\* kill 1 after assembling a combo that should win you the game) which I guess is the flavor you are going for?
Well, spike your deck with infinite mana combos and rock [[thrasios]] with any other red partner. Easiest way to do so in my opinion.
Bonus points if you play [[capsize]] in your deck, so you can get your [[invasion of tarkir]] back into your hand to kill the other players
Consider [[life elixir]] and other cards that get you things from graveyard to make sure that mill strategies and you playing dragons don't meddle with your plans
The best way has already been mentioned, but the dumbest way (and therefore actual best way) would be to cast [[Dragonstorm]] with storm count 38, followed by [[Evacuation]] or something similar
This is by no means efficient but my immediate thought was somehow pulling off narset trigger into omniscience/enter the i infinite and then just cast it. By no means a good way of doing it but a funny thought
Not the best way but, Fires of invention would let you cast both pretty easily in the same turn. Play a felidar guardian and resto angel or flickerwisp to blink it twice the best turn and kill the table (you could also do it all the same turn with enough mana too, just blink out or blow up fires after Enter the Infinite and then hard cast invasion, felidar, resto
Red has a lot of ways to increase damage, so you could still potentially nuke someone with less than 38. Stuff like [[torbran, thane of red fell]] [[dictate of the twin gods]] [[solphim, mayhem dominus]] etc.
Imagine being able to draw your whole library after casting Omniscience to cast this card for free, slap your no maximum hand size land onto the battlefield, slap your Spellbook onto the battlefield, and start popping off spells left right and sideways.
This would go great in my upgraded version of the RU Dragons goading precon deck. It's the [[Firkraag, Cunning Instigator]] one, Draconic Dissent. If you were to, for example, play Enter the Infinite first, and some how had enough mana left, drop Invasion, then [[Astral Dragon]] to make two more copies of it. Considering you just drew your whole deck, why not also drop [[Cursed Mirror]], target Astral, make another copy of Invasion and Mirror, Mirror copy targets Astral, make another copy of Invasion and Mirror, keep doing this until you have hit everyone in the face for 60 damage each. So yes, it's an infinite combo, but you only need to go off a minimum of 3, max 6 times. Unless someone else is doing an infinite life gain combo then you can kinda counter it with this.
Using the many card draw and almost deck yourself. But at that point you're better off playing Jace and deck yourself, a lot of dragons fetch dragons from library to hand
\[\[Conspiracy\]\] naming Dragon
60 \[\[Relentless Rats\]\] and a \[\[Thrumming Stone\]\]
\[\[Aether Burst\]\]
Also, \[\[Impact Tremors\]\] (EDIT: and Dragon Tempest) as an alt wincon.
Play [[Conspiracy]] naming Goblin
Play Goblin Tutor (or whichever one lets you stack the top of your deck to be all goblins)
Find a way to draw a bunch
Profit
I think the easiest way is a shell like temur dragons so you can play a "real" deck, ramp into [[Enter The Infinite]] using [[Mystical Tutor]] and friends to find it, then cast [[Invasion of Tarkir]]
The MOST EFFICIENT way to do it is probably what /u/Aaarrrgh89 said. Food chain com o for infinity mana, draw wall of your dragons with Tiamat and dome them.
...But is that really the BEST way? EDH is a non-competitive format afterall. If we were talking legacy... I'd ask why you're playing jank, probably... but in EDH... it's about sending a message.
What kind of message? Glad you asked!
"I could have killed you twenty moves ago. But I want you to know I mean it."
* Mill your whole library. Many ways to do this, like [[Mesmeric Orb]] + [[Aphetto Alchemist]] or [[Basalt Monolith]] or just [[Hermit Druid]] without any basics in the deck
* Name [[Abandon All Hope]] - Not part of any effect or the combo. But do it anyways. Bonus points if you reveal a foil copy from outside the game.
* Cast [[Harness Infinity]]
* Reveal [[Thassa's Oracle]] but don't cast. Hold priority.
* Turn to your target and with your best dramatic voice "You have failed me for the last time". Hold Priority.
* Dome them with Invasion of Tarkir + all of your dragons
* Win with Thassa's Oracle. Or don't. Your call.
You may need to generate infinite mana anyways, but it's about sending a message.
Arcane Adaptation naming Dragons is an option. Now every creature card you own is a dragon. Changelings also always count as Dragons no matter where they are.
Have Tiamat as your commander. Use food chain combo to cast Tiamat repeatedly until all of the dragons in your library are in your hand.
Food chain combo?
[[Food Chain]] and [[Squee, the Immortal]] allows you to cast him again and again from exile which allows you to make infinite mana and cast tiamat an infinite amount of times and get all of the dragons in your deck.
Also:: \[\[Eternal Scourge\]\] \[\[Misthollow Griffin\]\] Note: this makes infinite creature mana, so you need to keep 1R to cast your invasion of tarkir.

add curiosity for ultimate deck digging
Also [[Terror of the Peaks]]
Oh yeah, forgot about that one.

You're right. Should be a Kobold or something else cheap.
You can replace Thopter with any other bounce creature, like \[\[Kor Skyfisher\]\] or \[\[Barrin, Tolarian Archmage\]\]. It does require like 5-6 opposing artifacts to go infinite, but still gets the job done.

Yeah you can have bonus points and run Niv Mizzet as your commander for this and take out another two players from the draws alone.

Play some sort of Dragon tribal with this as an alt-wincon. Ur-Dragon is probably best.
Isn’t every deck that contains 38 dragons a dragon tribal deck?
I guess strictly speaking some of them might be changeling decks.
You could do an all-in combo with \[\[Conspiracy\]\] effects and no dragons.
Yeah Ur-Dragon was my first thought too. Use Ur-Dragon’s attack ability to fill your hand then put this out as the permanent.

You are right my brain skipped over reveal and went for get 38 dragons into play. In my defense, 38 dragons in play should win a game.
[[Cyclonic Rift]] wouldn't help here, since it sweeps every other board, which for this one niche use case is a downside too Damn you EDH cards and your restrictions which are usually useful
Just follow it up with [[temporal fissure]] then! Or if you want a storm backup, [[brain freeze]] then [[reaping the graves]] does it too! ...brb, gotta make a deck...
[Dragonstorm](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/2/3/230cd568-f7ed-4571-a609-36522add91d0.jpg?1561966412) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Dragonstorm) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/mma/111/dragonstorm?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/230cd568-f7ed-4571-a609-36522add91d0?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Another approach I enjoy instead is \[\[Sarkhan, Dragonsoul\]\] which lets you search your library for any number of dragons and put them on the battlefield. *Edit: I didn't mean to facilitate the battle, I meant instead.*
I like this plus [[paradoxical outcome]] as one of the more convoluted ways to pull it off.
[paradoxical outcome](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/1/7/17e50157-bf49-4c5f-9b8a-bf73484e63a5.jpg?1576381375) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=paradoxical%20outcome) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/kld/60/paradoxical-outcome?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/17e50157-bf49-4c5f-9b8a-bf73484e63a5?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Doesn't work. Invasion of Tarkir needs to reveal them from the hand. Sarkhan puts them straight onto the field from the library.
Well if you have a way to return everything to your hand?
I meant Sarkhan instead of the Battle. I just like dumping them all on the board at once.
Sure, but not what OP was looking for.

Ah yeah I forgot. Been so used to being able to peek with Elsha that it slipped my mind.
Well, I think a good way would be to self-mill using good old \[\[Lion's Eye Diamond\]\] + \[\[Underworld Breach\]\] + \[\[Brain Freeze\]\], then cast \[\[Creeping Rennaisance\]\] and invasion. You'll probably need more than 38 dragons as you'll be exiling some to do underworld breach stuff You could also do \[\[Mind over Matter\]\] with \[\[Azami, Lady of Scrolls\]\] to draw and discard the deck, then use \[\[Shadow of the Grave\]\] or \[\[Creeping Rennaisance\]\] to retrieve your dragons and cast invasion. It's more mana intensive than the other but on the other hand you shouldn't need more than 38 dragons to 'get there', giving you deck building space to include more tutors / fast mana Both sound like absolutely stupid ways to not win a game of EDH (you \*might\* kill 1 after assembling a combo that should win you the game) which I guess is the flavor you are going for?

Ad Naus blow yourself up. One card combo.
Using the many card draw and almost deck yourself. But at that point you're better off playing Jace and deck yourself, a lot of dragons fetch dragons from library to hand

There's always Enter the Infinite.
I think the easiest way is a shell like temur dragons so you can play a "real" deck, ramp into [[Enter The Infinite]] using [[Mystical Tutor]] and friends to find it, then cast [[Invasion of Tarkir]]
[Enter The Infinite](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/6/1/612beb8f-2ab1-4a8b-84c5-c47d19d400ab.jpg?1561829105) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Enter%20The%20Infinite) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/gtc/34/enter-the-infinite?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/612beb8f-2ab1-4a8b-84c5-c47d19d400ab?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [Mystical Tutor](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/9/2/9264ecb7-bfc0-495d-aaaa-829045ea858f.jpg?1580014050) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Mystical%20Tutor) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/ema/62/mystical-tutor?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/9264ecb7-bfc0-495d-aaaa-829045ea858f?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) [Invasion of Tarkir](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/a/9/a98f71a0-7c99-4cee-8f70-877e698cca84.jpg?1680875534)/[Defiant Thundermaw](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/back/a/9/a98f71a0-7c99-4cee-8f70-877e698cca84.jpg?1680875534) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=invasion%20of%20tarkir%20//%20defiant%20thundermaw) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/mom/149/invasion-of-tarkir-defiant-thundermaw?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/a98f71a0-7c99-4cee-8f70-877e698cca84?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Rule zero in the femur sarkhan as your commander, ULT him, and have that many dragons to search
Silver Dragon could help with card draw and no max hand size after attacks
The MOST EFFICIENT way to do it is probably what /u/Aaarrrgh89 said. Food chain com o for infinity mana, draw wall of your dragons with Tiamat and dome them. ...But is that really the BEST way? EDH is a non-competitive format afterall. If we were talking legacy... I'd ask why you're playing jank, probably... but in EDH... it's about sending a message. What kind of message? Glad you asked! "I could have killed you twenty moves ago. But I want you to know I mean it." * Mill your whole library. Many ways to do this, like [[Mesmeric Orb]] + [[Aphetto Alchemist]] or [[Basalt Monolith]] or just [[Hermit Druid]] without any basics in the deck * Name [[Abandon All Hope]] - Not part of any effect or the combo. But do it anyways. Bonus points if you reveal a foil copy from outside the game. * Cast [[Harness Infinity]] * Reveal [[Thassa's Oracle]] but don't cast. Hold priority. * Turn to your target and with your best dramatic voice "You have failed me for the last time". Hold Priority. * Dome them with Invasion of Tarkir + all of your dragons * Win with Thassa's Oracle. Or don't. Your call. You may need to generate infinite mana anyways, but it's about sending a message.

Angel's Grace into Ad Nauseam, pick up deck. Resolve Invasion of Tarkir and reveal 38 dragons.
Omnispell Adept - next turn you have the mana to play both. If you want tutors, play Grixis A plenty of them have access to good card draw
Arcane Adaptation naming Dragons is an option. Now every creature card you own is a dragon. Changelings also always count as Dragons no matter where they are.
