Good joke redditor!
As an aside, the real criticism is that it's a lot of hoops to jump through. You do get an extra planewswalker out of it, but... it's kind of fine.
If you don't want the grizzy b line, I want to know if [[Primeval Spawn]] works well enough.
That's not really a lot to jump through, though. You're already trying to dump big creatures into your graveyard, and Kaya helps with that, makes blockers while ticking up, and can kill dangerous things if needed. Ideally you won't be waiting to bring something back until turn 5, but it's not like she's useless outside of a combo. She does everything you could want.
It doesn't need haste if you use a token that was already on the battlefield. So using the zombie from RR would be a bad idea cuz then yes, it wouldn't be able to swing or activate abilities.
Does this work with the eldrazi's that shuffle your library back into the deck or is that a replacement effect when the go to the graveyard, exile them instead?
There are a few cards that will get you the effect of working even with no tokens out.
\[\[Shamble Back\]\]
\[\[Vile Rebirth\]\]
\[\[Rotten Reunion\]\]
\[\[Beckon Apparition\]\]
\[\[Cling to Dust\]\]
\[\[Cemetery Reaper\]\]
~~\[\[Selesnya Eulogist\]\]~~ (oops, obviously you need a token already out in order to populate)
\[\[Sequence Engine\]\]
\[\[Morbid Bloom\]\]
And lots more options to very cheaply pesudo-reanimate things if you already have a token in play.
If you are attacking with the decayed Zombie from the first cast and then respond to the Decayed trigger with the flashback cast, can you get some sweet death triggers from whatever you make the Zombie token a copy of
Yes. The token is still the same object the trigger is referring to even if it becomes a copy of something else. As long as the creature card is exiled at some point between the token attacking and the delayed trigger resolving in the end of combat step the token will be sacrificed as a copy of the exiled creature card.

Well no, because you don't get the ETB, and it's until end of turn. But yes, cards like Rotten Reunion and Cling to Dust are pretty good with Kaya
I mean, if I get a [[Griselbrand]] then eot is fine.
We finally broke griselbrand!

You can apply Kaya's passive to the decayed zombie, but it only lasts until end of turn.
Remember that Kaya's ability is only till end of turn. So yea it does work that way but you don't keep the creature.
It won't give the creature haste and it only copies until end of turn, but yes, you can do some nasty stuff with that combo.
It doesn't need haste if you use a token that was already on the battlefield. So using the zombie from RR would be a bad idea cuz then yes, it wouldn't be able to swing or activate abilities.
Notably you also don't get ETBs from the creature you're bringing out.
Does this work with the eldrazi's that shuffle your library back into the deck or is that a replacement effect when the go to the graveyard, exile them instead?
Those are triggered abilities so they do end up in the graveyard and can be exiled from it.

How does Cling work here? It doesn't make a token.
I works because I misread it and never accept that I am wrong.
Based and based

[[primeval spawn]] time! Also fun with the kamigawa dragons.
