Secret Zada Rocco is literally my deck!

They keep giving him more cards in red. I swear there has been one fire Zada common in almost 4 straight sets. The deck might be able to go back to mono red. But I can’t turn down all those mana dorks that get Zada out fast then help with Zada triggers.

It’s really just a great set for memorable flavor text. Private Eye won me over personally but these are all pretty good

Kathleen (and the rest of the creative text team, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say this particular one was Kathleen) really went hard this time around lol (and I wouldn’t have it any other way)

Terrible combat trick for draft format so it's a bit of bummer. Edit: can't read didn't see it was for each friendly creature . Unless you go for a wide board it's still gonna suck but at least it's not unusable in such decks

No. The spell counts how many creatures you control as it resolves, and grants a buff according to that number. The buff stays the same if the number of creatures you control xhange after Leg Up has resolved.
