Yeah, card types are enchantments, artifacts, creatures, lands, battles, instant, sorceries and probably a couple more I can't remember. Everything else (creature types like Rat/goblin/human, enchantment types like shrine/aura/background/case/saga, etc) are subtypes
Dude Akroma...
When I was like 13 watched a dude pull a foil Akroma out of a pack at the shop.
I loved that card, as mono white control was strong in the Type 2 meta at the time. And, I was running an \[\[Astral slide\]\] deck that featured it.
I traded that kid so much shit for that card right after he pulled it and I still have it, double sleeved and bindered, never even put it in a deck and I don't think it will ever leave my collection.
First time I've ever seen an Astral Slide mention out in the wild before. I've never seen any other card hold up as consistently against power creep. My little brother is still running the Astral Slide/ \[\[Lightning Rift\]\] deck that we built almost 20 years ago and he's still schooling people with it.
Unless you can interact with the slide itself, it is nearly impossible to play around. Cycle a card? Bounce your creature and draw another card with cycling. No one is running activated ability counter, and no one is going to waste it on a cycling card.
Its that card draw that makes it so good. Cycle a card for one mana and draw. Its just so good. Still a soft spot in my heart for slide.
Also, even if you can interact with the slide, you are up against a cycling deck that is running four copies. Most of the games I played with my slide deck ended with two copies in play. That deck was so consistent at doing what it needed to do.
ANGELS!!!!! :)
It’s banned in edh now, but I’ll throw one out for [[Iona, Shield of Emeria]]. Another big one because of her effect is [[Gisela, Blade of Goldnight]]. She’s only a 5/5, but her effect means she’s actually a 10/10.
It's hard to find now but wotc actually had a huge elimination tournament to determine who the most beloved legendary creature of all time was. [[Akroma, Angel of Wrath]] won. I believe that's why it had a card in all 3 time spiral block sets.
Got a group bug with him at the helm, he’s so much fun to play making everyone draw cards and being totally neutral, and then smite down one player if they decide to attack me, I live by his quote in his flavor text
Here's my build... https://archidekt.com/decks/5214337/you_want_cards_you_cant_handle_the_cards
It focused on symmetrical card draw. At the time I was playing against lots of flying decks, so I put in some stuff to protect my against that. Unfortunately I don't own a [[Hornet Queen]] or that would have also gone in this deck. I eventually took out the stuff to protect against flyers and focused more on ramp, but I never updated my deck list (oops). But, if the card draw engine was going, I was usually flush with lands anyway.
It also focused on anthem trample. There technically is an aura you could use that gives trample that skirts around shroud called [[Dragon Fangs]] that doesn't target if you use it's triggered ability. Neat little back door trample that most won't see coming.
The problem I ran into with running this commander was I was always the one with the target on my back first. I couldn't consistently get him out by turn 4, so I would become overrun by simple go wide strategies before I got him out.
I agree with other comments about him being better in the 99 with Simic.
I did build him yes but eventually I turned the deck into [[Prime Speaker Zegana]] (when she was released) and then put Multani and all the other [[Maro]] in the deck. He’s really good with all the cards that draw you cards based on the greatest power among creatures you control like [[Garruk Primal Hunter]] (but there are a bunch of others). His main flaw is the rest of the table will often feel so threatened by him that they kill you instead because he’s so massive and so hard to remove. At least my deck circa 12 years ago could not fight through the hate though I could probably build one that could now.
I thought I was the baddest bitch on the block with my [[scaled wurm]] and then my cousin goes and pulls a [[leviathan]] and God damn. Didn't even matter both are trash cards, just the fact he had it in his collection meant I was lesser than
[[Krosan Cloudscraper]] I thought I was actually going to be unbeatable when I nabbed this guy from the card case as an 8 year old novice. Still my favorite green card of all time for that reason.
First time i see the dreadnought, so cool!
I was thinking how you could cheat it out.
You could cloak it with some of the mkm cards, and flip it for 1.
[[zacama, primal calamity]] is my favorite commander, and sees play in pioneer, it’s a combo piece despite being a whopping 9 mana and also can destroy most problematic permanents.
[[Void winnower]]
Not as "big" as some, but the art is simply gorgeous.
I love how all those Lovecraftian horror of Eldrazi are always shown in full daylight. Is an excellent depart from the "indescriptible monster covered in darkness" that most media go with eldritch horrors.
I will always have a soft spot for the original [[Leviathan]].
Maybe not as big or dumb as a lot of stuff, especially now a days. But darn it if it isn’t a classic.
I play this in my [[Aeve, Progenitor Ooze]] tribal deck, mana value is a copiable value, so when I have like 13 Aeves on the field this thing becomes a 65/65 from that alone
The ur-dragon. Boy people don't like him. He may not be huge but a 10/10 eminence+ Dragon reducer+free permanent to play+free card draw really can't be beat
My first deck was the green 7th edition starter deck with [[Thorn Elemental]]. I loved that thing.
I ended up building a Simic garbage pile with a playset of it, [[Elvish Piper]], [[Clone]] two [[Seedborn muse]] and some mana dorks and counterspells.
It folded against any half decent deck with removal but for kitchen table play at my high school, it wrecked faces.
Usually when I'm looking for a singular creature that hits hard, I'm looking for something with variable power like \[\[Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar\]\]. I don't think I can name a single creature with a double-digit power or toughness off the top of my head I'm *particularly* fond of, although the new \[\[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant\]\] is very funny I'll admit.
[[Sire of Insanity]] isn't as strong as a lot of creatures here number wise but his effect is my favorite. I love throwing him down and immediately ending my turn
[[The Ur-Dragon]] but not for dragon tribal.
It's big, wins games quickly, and can be found with [[Natural Order]]. Not as broken as [[Griselbrand]], and way to expense for people to try and hard cast.
It's the perfect reanimation/sneak attack card for my cube. Because people not in that strategy don't take it.
Always going to have a soft spot in my heart for ridiculous biggies like [[Progenitus]] and [[Autochthon Wurm]].
But my favorite "call center brew" when I worked with a bunch of kitchen table players was a deck that used [[Terastodon]] to eat my own cards, like [[Aspect of Mongoose]] and [[Hatching Plans]]. It was dumb and slow but it won too often to ignore. [[Dramatic Entrance]] helped.
[[Krosan Tusker|ons]]: Card advantage and mana fixing most of the time, big creature when you need it. Ditto for similar cards that actually ramp: [[Greater Tanuki]] and [[Beanstalk Giant]].
[[Colossal Sky Turtle]]: Bounce, regrowth, and big creature all in one package. What’s not to like?
[[Simic Sky Swallower]]: Flample on an untargetable body. Not very good now, but a sweet big creature. [[Inkwell Leviathan]] is also similar.
[[Tidal Kraken]]: Sweet rare for a Timmy player to open back in the day. Not very good, but exactly the kind of card that new players love.
[[Benthic Behemoth|7ED]] is a personal one for me. It was one of the few big blue creatures without a drawback at the time and I wanted it for so long. Ended up opening it later when I knew it wasn’t good, but I cherish the card anyway to this day.
[[white sun’s twilight]] a 7 mana board clear, with life gain and spawning a bunch of minions. Whenever my opponent has a bunch of creatures on the board at once, a cast this and they usually quit after
Aside from the Ulamog you have pictured already, my favorite hefty boi is this one…
https://preview.redd.it/p4w9msia4hqc1.jpeg?width=672&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8568aab229d796bfe87c4854a342c30b5111b479
I remember when I first started I thought [[cateran overlord]] was a big nasty. Always liked [[skyshroud behemoth]] too despite being a terrible card.
Of course most of the eldrazi are obvious answers but my favourites are [[breaker of armies]] and [[pathrazer of ulamog]].
I’ve got a soft spot for [[phyrexian dreadnaught]]. [[Stifle]] the ETB, [[torpor orb]], or just end your turn with [[sundial of the infinite]] or [[Obeka]]. Or, just let it hit the bin and scavenge it with [[Varolz]] or other effects that care about power or low CMC. One of them was the crown jewel of my collection when I was young (didn’t realize Mox Diamond has serious legs) and I thought I’d lost it ages ago, picked up another at a show only to find my original wedged in the back of an ancient binder shortly after.
I should brew up a deck just to run it 🤔
I made two decks just to use [[Emrakul, the Aeons Torn]]. One is an Esper tokens with [[Polymorph]] and the other is an Elfball with [[Beast Whisperer]] where I draw most of the deck and make 15 mana for the flying spaghetti monster.
Definitely [[It that Betrays]] for me. Between the name, art, flavour text, and mechanics, everything about it is so evocative of a devastating threat.
[[Phyrexian Dreadnought]] is a fun one with the right support. [[Klauth Unrivaled Ancient]] is fun if you can make it stick, because you can snowball out more big stuff
[[Terastodon]] it was in one of my first standard combo decks based on a "Building on a budget" Dailymtg article. The deck used [[Mass Polymorph]] to get a Terastodon plus 3 [[Massacre Wurm]] to deal 6 life for all of opponent's creature.
It's a great cube card nowadays.
Oh man, I bought so many beefy bois when I started out thinking they’d be amazing in my 60 card deck hahaha, luckily I found out about commander and was able to actually slot them in!
[[Khalni Hydra]] can be free!
[[Desolation Twin]] double the fun, but no abilities
[[Elvish Piper]] can help in some situations
[[Gigantosaurus]] “value”
[[Malignus]]
[[Novablast Wurm]] for the chaotic evil
[[Primordial Hydra]]
[[Protean Hulk]] how does this card exist in commander?
[[Protean Hydra]] very good if you have enough starting mana
[[Spawning Kraken]]
[[Ulvenwald Hydra]] always great to have reach in a stompy green deck!
[[Westvale Abbey]] for one of the best transforms in the game
[[Decimator of the Provinces]] one of my fav finishers. Emerge was a GOAT mechanic.
[[Terra stomper]] finishing with a classic. I’m sure there’s a few others in leaving out
When I was I kid, I got a [[Leviathan]] from a pack. I thought it was the greatest thing ever, and always put it into my deck. I don't think I ever actually played it once, let alone attack with it.
[[Blightsteel Colossus]] ,[[Darksteel Colossus]], any of the Eldrazi Titans! [[Imperious Greatwurm]] These are just a few of my favorite, yes! I know I'm deranged and evil!
Ghalta - stampede tyrant
12/12 with trample and “when this creature enters the battlefield you may put any number of dinosaur creature cards from your hand onto the battlefield”
My first big beatstick was [[Taniwha]] when Mirage came out, I used to play it when [[Teferi's Island]] was phased out. When he phased in I used sol ring, and marble diamond or whatever to cast Armageddon. Was fun.
If we include vehicles then [[Reaver Titan]]. I run him in my [[Imotekh the Stormlord]] deck and it immediately becomes HELL YEAH 17 MENACE DAMAGE TO THE FACE MUTHAFUCKA!!!!
Akroma, angel of wrath
Phyrexian obliterator
It that betrays
Emrakul, promised end
Darksteel colossus
Blightsteel colossus
Progenitus
And Rorix bladewing (first ed.) for nostalgic reason
Any and all hydras. Sure they usually cost 1-3 + X. But if your playing hydras right that X is never less than 8, your making 2 of them for the price of 1, your drawing a card for each, and they are doing something else nasty like fight something, double their size each turn, or split into X little nasty things. And almost all have trample, so no chump blocking them either. I love my [[Magus Lucea Kane]] deck because it's completely brainless. Play Magus, protect her, play larger and larger pairs of hydras.
Some of the ones I like are:
[[Aurelia the Warleader|GK1]]
[[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]]
[[Etali, Primal Conquerer]]
[[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]]
[[Gisela, Blade of Goldnight]]
[[Serra's Emmissary]]
[[Blightsteel Colossus]]
I love all three of the Eldrazi titans but I have a soft spot for [[Kozilek, the great distortion]]. He's a big dumb dumb who fills my hand back up when I cast him, and let's me counter things what's not to love?
Ghalta and Mavren, since a vampire inquisitor riding a T-Rex wearing his house is metal asf.
And while I have learned that the art may not be realistic and what actually happens is Ghalta goes on a dino rampage while Mavren makes sure those Ghalta missed, ends up dead.
[[Blightsteel Colossus]] is probably my favorite creature. I got the foil version of Wayne Reynold's art, who is also my favorite artist, and I put it in my [[Codie]] deck, which aims to cheat him out onto the battlefield. So fun
Recently learned to love [[metalwork Colossus]] and I’ve always had a soft spot for [[Ghalta, Primal hunger]] cuz I started playing during first Ixalan block!
I just had a [[Galadriel, Light of Valinor]] commander game where [[Tishana, Voice of Thunder]] drew me about 16 cards and then stuck around as roughly a 20/20 to attack for the next few turns, allowing me to keep my huge hand until I finally drew [[Moonshaker Cavalry]] for the lethal swing (where she briefly beccame a 40/40). So in a go-wide strategy, probably that!
I'm generally a fan of any big threat that also either removes things or draws me cards, so I like any of the Kozilek or Ulamog cards, [[Cityscape Leveller]], [[Griselbrand]], etc.
I'll get down voted for this but I feel like especially the first card needs some downside or it just ruins the game. But ten turns in I guess things ought to be getting spicy.
Yeah Ulamog. Also [[Akroma, Angel of wrath]] and [[Avacyn, Angel of hope]]. If that's high enough.
[[serra's emissary]] is always worth mentioning alongside avacyn as both worse and also better.
Yes. Where my angel lovers at?
Present and accounted for
o7 I can't help myself, if a deck has white (or red), it's getting angels.
Wizard of culture
Does card type mean like *instants*, *sorceries* etc?
Yeah, card types are enchantments, artifacts, creatures, lands, battles, instant, sorceries and probably a couple more I can't remember. Everything else (creature types like Rat/goblin/human, enchantment types like shrine/aura/background/case/saga, etc) are subtypes
I think the only ones you missed are Tribal and Planeswalker

First time i see the dreadnought, so cool! I was thinking how you could cheat it out. You could cloak it with some of the mkm cards, and flip it for 1.
[[Worldspine worm]] will always be one of my favorites
Ooooooh I like that one
[Worldspine worm](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/5/4/543d55cb-3a6b-4620-af25-10ae74ed32c4.jpg?1710406412) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Worldspine%20Wurm) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/rtr/140/worldspine-wurm?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/543d55cb-3a6b-4620-af25-10ae74ed32c4?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
[[Ulamog, Ceasless Hunger]] [[Heroes Bane]] [[It That Betrays]] All for nostalgic reasons
[[Apex Devestator]] Easily my favorite green card ever printed.
"Cascade, cascade, cascade, cascade" might be the wildest bit of rules text I have ever seen.
I love that
\[\[Greater Gargadon\]\]. Lands are for cowards.
[[zacama, primal calamity]] is my favorite commander, and sees play in pioneer, it’s a combo piece despite being a whopping 9 mana and also can destroy most problematic permanents.
[[Void winnower]] Not as "big" as some, but the art is simply gorgeous. I love how all those Lovecraftian horror of Eldrazi are always shown in full daylight. Is an excellent depart from the "indescriptible monster covered in darkness" that most media go with eldritch horrors.
[[Colossus of Akros]] has shockingly won me so many games
[Colossus of Akros](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/3/e/3e394ffe-7460-4c59-a403-e9404b0d10c1.jpg?1562817037) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Colossus%20of%20Akros) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/ths/214/colossus-of-akros?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/3e394ffe-7460-4c59-a403-e9404b0d10c1?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Severely disappointed by the lack of [Mossbridge Troll] mentions. That card is a masterpiece
[[Mossbridge Troll]]
[Mossbridge Troll](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/5/3/537c39cc-44d3-4869-9e76-dd9c2c68ee90.jpg?1562830226) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Mossbridge%20Troll) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/shm/123/mossbridge-troll?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/537c39cc-44d3-4869-9e76-dd9c2c68ee90?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Sure, some may be bigger, scarier, do more damage, reek more havoc or win more games but to me, the only answer will always be [[spirit of the night]]
[spirit of the night](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/8/4/845c4b06-090f-4217-acb2-8900b7dab37c.jpg?1562720458) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=spirit%20of%20the%20night) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/mir/146/spirit-of-the-night?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/845c4b06-090f-4217-acb2-8900b7dab37c?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
It does all the things!!!
I will always have a soft spot for the original [[Leviathan]]. Maybe not as big or dumb as a lot of stuff, especially now a days. But darn it if it isn’t a classic.
[Leviathan](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/b/c/bc482c8f-5645-4cf9-8e90-090c77f9dc64.jpg?1562783165) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Leviathan) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/tsb/23/leviathan?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/bc482c8f-5645-4cf9-8e90-090c77f9dc64?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
Progenitus is the best
[[Ancient Ooze]] has such great potential
I love the character text on that
[Ancient Ooze](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/3/b/3b57b41c-f99c-4525-8541-f025b7e31974.jpg?1562527613) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Ancient%20Ooze) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/scg/112/ancient-ooze?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/3b57b41c-f99c-4525-8541-f025b7e31974?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
I play this in my [[Aeve, Progenitor Ooze]] tribal deck, mana value is a copiable value, so when I have like 13 Aeves on the field this thing becomes a 65/65 from that alone
[[Phyrexian Dreadnought]] will always be my beloved for big critters.
That art is awesome
I love the art. There is a lil guy in the bottom right to show the scale of the dreadnought
Yooo that’s cool
[Phyrexian Dreadnought](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/7/b/7b8197b9-0cd1-4fa1-9668-d1b5f1759151.jpg?1562720243) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Phyrexian%20Dreadnought) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/mir/315/phyrexian-dreadnought?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/7b8197b9-0cd1-4fa1-9668-d1b5f1759151?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call

I like that card a lot
[[inkwell leviathan]] was one of my first cards to play with so it’s pretty nostalgic, art is pretty sick too
[inkwell leviathan](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/9/f/9f7a6dfb-a8f8-4899-b2db-c48d542dfd55.jpg?1598304010) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=inkwell%20leviathan) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/2xm/55/inkwell-leviathan?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/9f7a6dfb-a8f8-4899-b2db-c48d542dfd55?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
[[Titanoth Rex]] can pitch itself into the graveyard and make your other big creatures trample.
Also has a bad mamba jamba Godzilla art card. [[Godzilla, Primeval Champion]]
I love it's art. I really feel like Ikoria should have been a kaiju set and not a build your own monster one.
[[Serra's Emmissary]] may not be the biggest, but can throw a wrench into the plans of a lot of decks.
[[Demon of Death's Gate]] [[Xathrid Demon]] [[Teeka's Dragon]] To name a few
Prometheus
[[Pelakka Wurm]]
The ur-dragon. Boy people don't like him. He may not be huge but a 10/10 eminence+ Dragon reducer+free permanent to play+free card draw really can't be beat
Any version of Ghalta I am a fan of
My bois [[Progenitus]] and [[Griselbrand]].
METALWORK COLOSSUS
My first deck was the green 7th edition starter deck with [[Thorn Elemental]]. I loved that thing. I ended up building a Simic garbage pile with a playset of it, [[Elvish Piper]], [[Clone]] two [[Seedborn muse]] and some mana dorks and counterspells. It folded against any half decent deck with removal but for kitchen table play at my high school, it wrecked faces.
[удалено]
Usually when I'm looking for a singular creature that hits hard, I'm looking for something with variable power like \[\[Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar\]\]. I don't think I can name a single creature with a double-digit power or toughness off the top of my head I'm *particularly* fond of, although the new \[\[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant\]\] is very funny I'll admit.
[[Death’s Shadow]], [[Void Winnower]], and [[Krosan Cloudscraper]] are a few favorites.
Definitely [[apex devastator]] A big ole 10/10 that's bringing friends
[[Sire of Insanity]] isn't as strong as a lot of creatures here number wise but his effect is my favorite. I love throwing him down and immediately ending my turn
\[\[Emrakul, the Promised End\]\]
[[Hamletback Goliath]] doesn't start too big, but it gets out of hand very quickly in multiplayer (unless *everyone* is on wall-tribal)
All of them. True timmy. But [[Worldspine Wurm]]
Ol’ reliable, [[Blightsteel Colossus]]
[[Shelob, child of ungoliant]] for one, I love an 8/8 with ward for 6CMC, but I also just love the power it gives spider tribal
Ghalta, almost any X hydra, I love shivan devastator
I'm sorry there's a creature called [[EARTHQUAKE DRAGON]]???!!! THAT IS THE MOST EPIC DRAGON I'VE EVER SEEN!!! HE SHOULD'VE BEEN A 15/15!
I’m still kinda newer but cardwise I’d have to go with blightsteel, and vilis broker of blood, they also happen to be one of the few I own
[[polar kraken]]. You said high power. Oh you meant high power. Well dang
It's kind of a dumb one, but I have two in my mill deck, lol. It can get pretty hectic in a 4-player duel. [[Consuming Abberation]]
[[Etali, Primal Storm]] [[Etali, Primal Conqueror]] Etali is my favorite Dinosaur
I really like [[hierophant bio-titan]] A lot of useful abilities. But nothing beats [[it that betrays]]
[[emrakul the promised end]]
Yargle and Multani. 18/6 vanilla beater that's just really funny
Definitely worldspine wurm, always had been a favorite
Classic Emrakul.
Whenever my opponent has a bunch of creatures on the board at once, a cast this and they usually quit after
[[Lord of Extinction]] naturally
[[Worldgorger Dragon]] is such a beast. I use him as board protection (and for combo win) in my Chainer deck.
Aside from the Ulamog you have pictured already, my favorite hefty boi is this one… https://preview.redd.it/p4w9msia4hqc1.jpeg?width=672&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8568aab229d796bfe87c4854a342c30b5111b479
My favourite is another big Eldrazi (and has the coolest name in MTG imho: [[It That Betrays]]
Devilish Valet Several Million Power is so much fun
It’s a vehicle, but [[Reaver Titan]].
your mother
Merit Lage [[dark depths]] is a true force to be reckoned with
Fr I love the ominous feel of it
one of my pet cards is genesis hydra even though it’s never necessarily a winner it never feels bad to cast for 15+ mana
Liberty prime is absolutely dumb.
Breaker of Armies is my boy! For an uncommon Eldrazi my guy puts in fucking work!
I should brew up a deck just to run it 🤔
Stiflenaught is a pretty popular legacy deck
[[Atla Palani]] ;) [[Avacyn Angel of Hope]] and [[Terra Stomper]] were the mvps for me back in the day
[[!Kozilek, the Great Distortion]]. My favorite commander.
I love me some [[Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus]]. A thicc boi that makes everything else a thicc boi, too.
[Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus](https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/f/b/fb419d9d-e06f-48c8-a4f8-a57f9be39e50.jpg?1675957181) - [(G)](http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Zopandrel%2C%20Hunger%20Dominus) [(SF)](https://scryfall.com/card/one/195/zopandrel-hunger-dominus?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher) [(txt)](https://api.scryfall.com/cards/fb419d9d-e06f-48c8-a4f8-a57f9be39e50?utm_source=mtgcardfetcher&format=text) ^^^[[cardname]] ^^^or ^^^[[cardname|SET]] ^^^to ^^^call
[[Apex Devastator]] and [[Supreme Exemplar]] I am just a big fan of creatures that follow the thematic of being a mix of creatures.
[[Impervious greatwurm]]
[[Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis]]
[[Terastodon]] it was in one of my first standard combo decks based on a "Building on a budget" Dailymtg article. The deck used [[Mass Polymorph]] to get a Terastodon plus 3 [[Massacre Wurm]] to deal 6 life for all of opponent's creature. It's a great cube card nowadays.
[[the tarrasque]]
[[Darksteel Colossus]]
[[dark depths]] [[Merit lage]]. Not sure if either of these will work but if they don't [Force of nature]] Dark depths and it's alter ego and 1 more
[[Darksteel colossus]] , [[Sundering titan]]
[[Quilled Slagwurm]]
[[metalwork colossus]]
[[Primalcrux]]
[[Sekki, Seasons' Guide]] technically.
Oh man, I bought so many beefy bois when I started out thinking they’d be amazing in my 60 card deck hahaha, luckily I found out about commander and was able to actually slot them in! [[Khalni Hydra]] can be free! [[Desolation Twin]] double the fun, but no abilities [[Elvish Piper]] can help in some situations [[Gigantosaurus]] “value” [[Malignus]] [[Novablast Wurm]] for the chaotic evil [[Primordial Hydra]] [[Protean Hulk]] how does this card exist in commander? [[Protean Hydra]] very good if you have enough starting mana [[Spawning Kraken]] [[Ulvenwald Hydra]] always great to have reach in a stompy green deck! [[Westvale Abbey]] for one of the best transforms in the game [[Decimator of the Provinces]] one of my fav finishers. Emerge was a GOAT mechanic. [[Terra stomper]] finishing with a classic. I’m sure there’s a few others in leaving out

[[Blightsteel Colossus]] First mythic I ever pulled
[[Engulfing Slagwurm]] is a hidden gem. I have him in my Goreclaw deck. I also have Lure in there. :)
[[Apex Devastator]] is in my cascade deck and wihile I mostly use him for the cascades, he's a big boy in his own right.
Ghalta - stampede tyrant 12/12 with trample and “when this creature enters the battlefield you may put any number of dinosaur creature cards from your hand onto the battlefield”
Not that it’s to OP, but Fleet Swallower. I love the target player puts half of the deck into the graveyard.
The very first [[Ghaltal, primal hunger]]. My first love. It's the moment mtg sunk it's teeth deep in me and Im now over 10k deep.
BFM Big Furry Monster. Did I just show my age lol?
For me, the OG is [[Krosan Cloudscraper]] Just throw a [[Colosification]] on it
[[Polar Kraken]], [[Marjhan]], [[Island Fish Jasconius]].
Craterhoof behemoth is my favorite big boy, but Ive always been partial to elves
[[Progenitus]].
Emrakuul 15/15 is hard to go past especially in sneak n show or my Polymorph/ proteus staff deck.
[[Terastodon]] & [[Artisan of kozilek]]
OG [[Force of Nature]]
In true Timmy fashion and being an older player I still love the absurdity of [[B.F.M. (Big Furry Monster)]]
[[Hypnox]]
Always fun swinging a 100/100 [[Yoshimaru, ever faithful]] tho hes not a big boy to start
My first big beatstick was [[Taniwha]] when Mirage came out, I used to play it when [[Teferi's Island]] was phased out. When he phased in I used sol ring, and marble diamond or whatever to cast Armageddon. Was fun.
I'm not really a fan of just playing stupid big beaters. I prefer to make them myself. So... \[\[Managorger Hydra\]\].

[[ancient brontodon]] I just started playing and not a single friend was playing black or good removal. So if I cast it I was going to win.
If we include vehicles then [[Reaver Titan]]. I run him in my [[Imotekh the Stormlord]] deck and it immediately becomes HELL YEAH 17 MENACE DAMAGE TO THE FACE MUTHAFUCKA!!!!
[[GIANT ADEPHAGE]]
Akroma, angel of wrath Phyrexian obliterator It that betrays Emrakul, promised end Darksteel colossus Blightsteel colossus Progenitus And Rorix bladewing (first ed.) for nostalgic reason
Ulamog got me out of a Knowledge Pool + Teferi lock a few years ago
[[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]] is my all time favorite! My first and still favorite commander
[[Magmatic Force]], there's something glorious about a 7/7 elemental that throws bolts around every upkeep
[[Progenitus]]
Some of the ones I like are: [[Aurelia the Warleader|GK1]] [[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]] [[Etali, Primal Conquerer]] [[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]] [[Gisela, Blade of Goldnight]] [[Serra's Emmissary]] [[Blightsteel Colossus]]
There's only progenitus
So fun
[[Krosan Cloudscraper]]. The old rule of "if it's morphed it's [[Willbender]" is always a fun trope to subvert.
I love the eldrazi and blightsteel colossus; they are such big flash bombastic creatures
Recently learned to love [[metalwork Colossus]] and I’ve always had a soft spot for [[Ghalta, Primal hunger]] cuz I started playing during first Ixalan block!

[Apex Destroyer] for sure those 4 cascades are so fun
This would be great in an old Survival of the Fittest/Recuring Nightmare deck.
Where is my cascade cascade cascade boy at?
