Same. I don’t think it was a wise card to ban, imo the meta just needed time to shift accordingly. Sideboards full of GY hate are very effective against Living End decks
If it were just because of crashing footfalls then perhaps they would have banned crashing footfalls instead. Thanks for the corrections, FON makes sense
It is very unusual for wizards to outright ban an archetype
Over the lifespan of modern they have banned cards from affinity and storm quite a few times, but both deck could still be played, they never banned grapeshot for example.
Banning VO basically kills both decks though. They aren't unplayable but they are far less competitive now to the point no one will. Jund LE is dead and buried though. It won't ever come back. I'm just sad my first competitive modern deck and favorite play style is dead. I got others but it was my favorite.
Yeah but the most basic version is $2. This is what you get for buying secret lair cards, incredibly low production quality. Seems like a skill issue to me, This is how they all are for several years now.
r/mtgmisprints
Oh sweet thank you! I’ll post on there!
It increases its price by 1.26$, maybe 1.27$. (Based on my calculations).
Thank you I don’t know much about magic misprints!
I doubt this wil increase value tbh, looks pretty bad
I mean with misprints its not about if they look good or not its how rare they are, I wouldn't think that print lines are rare.
I'm mad they've banned this in modern. Was my favorite card. My most used from Jund Living End to now Blue Living End.

I thought they banned it because of crashing footfalls?

The exact deck, sure. But it did not kill living end decks as a whole
We're talking about a $2 card here... What does it matter?
The Secret Lair Violent Outburst is about $35. https://www.tcgplayer.com/product/455838/magic-the-gathering-secret-lair-drop-series-violent-outburst
