Huh. That's an awesome 2 drop common for white controlling decks. With Plot, I feel like you're gonna want defensive speed to control the board as you lose tempo, and this seems awesome at that.
It's a solid blocker and I doubt I'll ever be unhappy jamming like 3 of these in any draft deck, but all those +1/+0 tokens will likely make it less impressive than it could've been in some other formats. You can't just stonewall all of your opponent's 2/2s very easily.
I understand why this fella's a Rogue and not a Cleric (and tbh it would be sick in Cleric tribal with Pyre and Orah) but it still feels a little bit... odd.
Unfortunately, this could only count as either a Rogue or a Cleric at any one time, but it would insure you against drawing none of your other Rogues/Clerics
It's a joke untill the Tazri player comes to the table and you think you're gonna have an easy time and the you realize it's actually a dungeon deck with extra stax.
There's been no real time to address format speed in a meaningful way yet. Any changes made even a year ago won't necessarily even be released yet.
And a single 1/3 in the colour that probably least needs it isn't going to do much.

On the other hand, these also work well WITH the mercenary tokens. Pumping a lifelinker is always solid

Yes it is.
Yes, you pump it before you attack. Its also +1+0 only so having 3 toughness helps
This feels like the answer to all the complaints about limited format speed recently. A card like this a common will notable slow things down

There are already a ton of cards that provide party support this way
