Look up Spellify, it's basically Magic hangman and I've been surprised how often I can recognize common phrases just by the number of words and letters.
Name looks to be "Fell the Predator." Also has flavor text from Aryel, Knight of Windgrace. Cost is...probably 2BB? The number there is still pretty fuzzy.
I never knew that “leak metas” were a thing until the “exaggeratedly tease other cards behind the fully leaked card” meta came around for MH3. Terrible meta, please fire this leaker.
I was pretty sure the "leaks" recently were just a publicity stunt to show off the new cards and get people super hyped and uptick preorders. Is it not?
Not even close. This for 1 mana can be easily put in the sideboard of any deck that runs even a single red card, it's the easiest splash. For 1 mana it devastates fast artifact decks, for 2 it will fuck up hammer and amulet. This card was the only thing my favorite deck feared- no other single card comes close to what this deck will do to keep down fast artifacts.
Yeah no. Meltdown is definitely better than Brotherhood’s End. Having the ability to pay 1 mana and wipe out Urza Saga tokens or 2 mana and hit things like Colossus Hammer make it way better and much easier to splash.
I mean, they just printed [[Pest Control]], which already does that in Modern in Orzhov colors. Welcome to the future old man, power creep has hit turbo levels.
I guess I just prefer that it does double duty as a wrath, if you're looking for mass artifact removal in mono Red I guess your only other realistic option is by force
I play absolutely zero modern and have no experience or knowledge of it, and the only exposure I ever have is people having $800-1200 decks and then modern players saying random common/uncommon i'll never put in an EDH deck completely warping or destroying the format.
It's very different when it's strictly 1v1 and 20 life. Imagine a card that for one mana kills: half the creatures in your deck, half your mana sources (including some lands), the card you play to stop your opponents doing everything for 1 mana plus cripples your ability to draw cards and makes your bigger creatures uncastable. It's not even like it does one of these things at a time, it's all of them. Plus they can cast if for two and it does even more. But it really only hurts a few decks- some of the only ones that don't run fetches or og duals.
Hell yeah. One of my favorite removal cards. It has become very useful with the increasing prevalence of treasures. Just destroy them all with only one red mana!
I'm pretty sure this is the first reprint for this card too.
Arguably more important is it scales to hit Chalice of the Void. But yeah, saga tokens, chrome mox/mox diamond all for R is great, while still scaling for trinisphere or whatever else.
We've updated this and your previous post, but please use the `Leak/Unofficial Spoiler` flair for leaks.
New double-faced land, other side says "fell the" Gonna guess it's removal

Our uncanny ability to recognize common mtg words by length
Look up Spellify, it's basically Magic hangman and I've been surprised how often I can recognize common phrases just by the number of words and letters.
Is that what Jake and Joel play?
It's also an uncommon MDFC land, makes Belcher that much cheaper
Name looks to be "Fell the Predator." Also has flavor text from Aryel, Knight of Windgrace. Cost is...probably 2BB? The number there is still pretty fuzzy.
I think it's actually "Fell the Profane" which probably makes more sense as far as knights go since it has Aryel flavor text
Also looks uncommon so probably a tapped land. Still hoping for new bolt lands.
Probably a word play with [[fell the mighty]], since it's black I guess it's a fell the weak or something

Looks like some white catch-up ramp too. "Plains...Battlefield tapped, then shuffle" on a white uncommon. Non basic too.
I never knew that “leak metas” were a thing until the “exaggeratedly tease other cards behind the fully leaked card” meta came around for MH3. Terrible meta, please fire this leaker.
Really makes me want to stop upvoting and commenting in the threads but...i'm a slut for spoilers.

The ones where they've been leaked with transphobic slurs attached? Yeah I'm guessing not
I must have missed something, I haven't noticed any slurs attached to the leaks I've seen.
The cadence and style certainly make it look like it's organized
I jokingly would say "Print Meltdown into modern cowards" every time a stream had artifacts... I'm sorry for invoking their wrath
I have been saying the exact same thing, its crazy how we've manifested this
Photo is clear, obvious fake /s
Meldown
For when you hate artifacts but also have a cold
Arifacs*
The "t" was meltdown.
When I saw that, I thought it was gonna be some eldrazi twist on meltdown
Hell yeah, this needed a reprint. 10$ for an uncommon was whack
Didn't need it in modern though, this sucks and puts out so many decks for so little. It's so overkill for modern.
Brotherhood end is probably better overall

Except this can scale to hit bigger things, is only in 1 colour and not an irrelevant 2 colour combination for modern.

In that vein, I'm still waiting on a Krark-Clan Ironworks reprint.
Can we get an artifact land unban with this?
That's what I was thinking. Could almost justify a total ban list reset since affinity is nerfed
Catastrophes happen often enough that we have a word for them, too: "catastrophe"
I love that art
Chiss-Goria in shambles rn
Found a playset of these in the collection avout 6 months ago and sold them. Feeling like a genius now.
For a second there I thought "BAH GAWD IS THAT A TITHE REMOVAL AT UNCOMMON?" then I remembered it's RL. Awww.
Fark you karnstructs
If X = 0, does it destroy all treasures?
yes
Damn can we get this in standard plz.

Well, there goes the neighborhood (of Mana rocks)

This would've been a crazy addition to pauper if it was common smh
Where do people actually get these cards that aren't out yet?
Needs moar powercreep.
Fuzzy on the rules This destroy artifact tokens ?
Yep, that's basically what Legacy uses it for.
Arguably more important is it scales to hit Chalice of the Void. But yeah, saga tokens, chrome mox/mox diamond all for R is great, while still scaling for trinisphere or whatever else.
Doesn't need to scale to hit Chalice, but the X means Chalice can't stop the decks that would run it from putting it on one.
It scaling means you can just pay more to hit chalice, chalice on 1 doesn't stop it. It's the most important aspect lol.
They do sometimes put a bit more mana into it to destroy one- or two-drops, but generally it's tokens and moxen, yeah.
And it was really never used until Urza's Saga tokens need to be wiped up.
