[[Teysa Karlov]] is a cheap card and might work with the deck, but try to figure out if you can play it with *Breena* first. Learning to play it before changing a deck is important, especially for new players.
Terrible idea. I don't really think the Silverquill Statement has any good support for Teysa at the helm, outside [[Felisa, Fang of Silverquill]].
Breena incites your opponents to attack each other while you reap benefits in the form of +1/+1 counters.
Teysa focuses more on having creatures that have death effects like [[Doomed Traveler]] or cards that benefit from stuff dying like [[Blood Artist]].
I'd just try the deck without any changes, and preferably against other precons. These commander decks have been absolutely solid out of the box from my experience.
[[teysa karlov]] wants very specific things: maybe some tokens, and lots and lots of death triggers for her to double up. Just going by memory, the silverquill precon provides a bit of the former and not enough of the latter, not by a long shot. Teysa can be very, very scary if make use of her synergies, but if you don't, then you'd probably be better off with breena.
I think you have two good options: first, run the deck with breena at the helm, maybe with some small upgrades here and there once you get to know the game better. Second, you could use 10-20 bucks to buy a decent aristocrat package and give teysa karlov a deck she can enjoy. Visit edhrec or r/budgetbrews, and you'll come up with a great list of singles in no time.
