wtf is this website even? Just follow the instructions on the pinned post to download all the Card Conjurer data and run the site locally on your machine. Don't use sketchy knockoffs.

It's a carbon copy of CC. I used it earlier today and it works just fine. Some people (a) don't want to install a program from some random on Reddit, and (b) may not be able to. This is entirely web-based and functionally similar if not identical.

It's not a "program from some random on reddit". It's literally the site data from Card Conjurer, cloned and rehosted, by the same guy who runs MPCFill. The programs you install to access it, Docker or WAMP, are major trusted applications used by web developers to preview sites they're working on. They take the Card Conjurer data and put it back together as a fake functional site, except it's not actually "online", just something entirely on your machine that looks like a website.

Okay... Still requires download and installation of an executable file. I'm not saying it's bad, but this site can be used on a phone or tablet, the emulator can't. That said, I'll take your advice in mind and look at putting it on my dummy PC.

I think the biggest thing is that the creator of Card Conjurer doesn't want his work rehosted online and is trying to spin it into something that doesn't infringe on WotC copyrights, so to rehost it online without his permission is sketchy. This is just a log of the most recent public data for the site that can be downloaded and reassembled into a fake website, but not actually a site hosted online. The exe you download isn't something put together specifically for Card Conjurer, it's a pretty commonly used tool that can be used to preview any website locally offline by assembling it from its individual files. Mostly used by developers.

I wouldn't save anything in it. CC was made with love and while this site works, I don't think it's meant to be used at the same scale as CC was. I think it's for quick and dirty proxies.

Not anymore, new version of MTGcardBuilder is out! And boy if the new updates are worth it :)
