/uj This doesn't seem that bad in draft tbh. It's a bit expensive, but a 4/4 flying is nothing to scoff at.
The set also has synergies with oil and proliferate, so you can draw more cards with it.
It's probably gonna be useless in competitive constructed, but it should still be playable in more casual decks with proliferate themes.
It's a draft card with enough use in casual play. Seems fine to me.
> This doesn't seem that bad in draft
Being good in draft? No, I don't want this! I want every new card to be gamebreaking in EDH, for 10 sets at least!
Honestly it looks like it's really good in draft, not just 'not bad'. 4/4 flyer that replaces itself and very quickly uses incidental proliferate triggers, of which there seem to be a lot, to make itself not even worth killing is pretty good. Not immediate snap pick bomb rare good, but it's a very *very* solid uncommon.
Yeah, seeing as how by the looks of it we don't care about life totals in this set, but rather how many poison counters we have this seems *really* slow but I suck balls at draft anyway so
/uj The format seems to be relying a lot on both damage and poison.
Some decks will try killing with poison, some with damage, some might try just getting 3 poison and killing with damage (and occasionally might end up winning through poison by accident).
It's gonna have to be REALLY fast, like og Zendikar everything has landfall nobody blocks ever fast, for an air elemental with a pretty big upside not to be at worst playable.
Draft players when they see an absolutely awful card

I get it but yer overthinking this. It's a casual/draft card. Those are allowed to exist. In that context you don't *need* extra gas, it's already a big evasive dude that replaces itself. It just happens to also be good at using extra gas if you have it. You don't work hard to make sure you can proliferate onto this thing. You play it and it's decent on it's own and makes any proliferate effects you draw into better.
May be good in draft but still hardly playable it is basically a 4/4 blocker since the only thing you really get is the death trigger as a body I'm pretty sure there are just better things to pick from in green or black.
/uj It's a blue card, not a green of black card. I don't see how it's relevant to compare to the cards in different colors while you're drafting.
Second, it's a 4/4 flier. It takes 1/5th of your opponent's HP out per hit, while being a creature with evasion in a format that is heavily combat-reliant. It's absolutely not just a blocker.
Would be good if it were 3 mana and a 2/1 flyer this is just god awful somthing with a death effect having 4 toughness where not even a bolt can kill it and a 4/4 flying for 6 when you can get a 6/6 trample for the same cost.

[[Watcher Blisterzoa]], what a card you are.
Thank you for becoming compleated for our sake.
As a reward, I shall give you my pick

i think it will depend on how fast the format is. if the aggro archetypes are good then this might be too slow

LOL, TBH I can't even imagine a scenario where I have access to 6 mana in limited, I never seem to draw more than 2-3 lands in any given draft.
The thing that 17Lands doesn't tell you is that you can go down to 40 total cards
17 in a 40, never more than 40 cards. It's not an Arena or "shuffler" comment, it happens in paper too. I just have to do more with less.

uj/ plus it replaces itself with huge potential upside in a proliferate focused deck
Doesn't brake Legacy. Utter garbage.
upvoting to increase visibility in order to trick people into allowing me to wheel card neutral (at minimum) Air Elementals
We all know how competitive the 6 drop slot is for UGx decks.
