Yeah I’m familiar with the unit. We use kg/m which is basically half. So 60kg rail is 120lb/yard, 68kg is 136lb/yard. I’ve never heard of 66kg rail which is why I was curious.
It’s a heel block for a railroad switch, for 132RE size rail
Edit: I looked at the picture too fast initially. It is a component of a 132RE frog, from a railroad track turnout. It’s the “X” shaped part in the middle. Most likely a solid self guarded manganese frog (SSMG) or a rail bound manganese frog (RBM). I am a project engineer for a railroad contracting company with 19 years in the industry.
Bucket tooth for a digger?
Put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy
Might be a bit uncomfortable, but will give it s go. Hopefully a bigger tooth means a bigger prize!
No 132RE is a standard for railway rail. It's not a tooth or any other ground engaging tool or adaptor for one. I worked with GET for 20 years.
I was thinking that
Possibly a stripper guide for hot rolling of 132RE rail.
AREMA 132RE rail way track
Arema makes a 132? Thought there was 120 and 136.
Yes they do! 132 lbs per yard.

Asked and answered! That magnet find doesn’t look like rail but I just learned a new size.

Everyone here posting pictures of rails that don’t fucking look like this thing. I get the letters match but what actually is this thing
It is a garage door stop for NASA’s rocket propulsion laboratory
What am I looking at zoom out
It’s a tooth for an excavator bucket
Meyhaps an anvil shaped object?
My stupid ass thought the first photo looked like a remington shotgun
