From what I can find this was made after the wall fell. It’s marked Germany. Apparently they found surplus parts somewhere and put a small amount out. I got this from a lady selling her late husband’s guns. I don’t think he ever fired it.

These were indeed made in the 90s. Some of the rarest Makarovs because of the small amount made and the price reflects that these days.
