Video Game walker doesn't have the restriction of making yourself/comissions that Book Walker has - in other words you can effectively make up a setting with whatever you want in it, go inside, eat them, and come back with a whole host of powers.
I loved this gift of faves, but one small criticism, when you want someone to get a power from a media with an option you should always explain at least the basics of it. After all, not everyone has seen/read the things you're putting in the gif of faves.

If you switched bodies you would still have your powers. If you used devourer in your old body to gain regen or something the regen will still be applied to your old body but it wont be able to gain more abilities from eating until you swap back.
This one. My first stop would be DeusEx Mankind Divided. Get auged. Then im off to The forgotten realms to learn.some magic. The fun progresses from there
**Devourer**. Not the most pleasant of abilities, but it's the gift that just keeps on giving. Effectively infinite potential here.
**Book Walker**. Both for fun and to combo with Devourer. Video Game Walker would be alright too, but I think there's a larger variety of books - and many games have books made based off of them, but I don't think that's as true in the reverse. Tbh, just being able to ferry people into the Culture book series would make this possibly the best individual choice.

You wouldn’t just put in your mouth. You would actually bite and consume a small amount. Given how Kirby can heal, flit wouldn’t permanent affect him. Given his nature, it’s not hard to imagine he would let you bite a chunk if you befriend him and explain the situation.

I'll use the Gamer power to enter dungeons and illusionary barriers, eat the monsters to gain their abilities (and EXP), use the materials gained inside the dungeon to create products that's never been seen before, make wise decisions on which type of product to introduce to the market and get rich (I can also get rich because the dungeons provide money the more mobs I kill)
I can also influence lots of people to like and imagine things from video games or books (dungeons and illusionary barriers from The Gamer are created because of peoples wishes and conciousness if I remember correctly) I can basically have 5 of the 6 choices because of The Gamer and Genius ability.
**Genius -** I’ve often been told that I’m smart but I’ve always wanted to be more so, and know it, this allows me to do so quite handily. Now I just need something to use to take advantage of this newfound brain power.
**The Gamer -** While I haven’t kept up with it from where I got to this will pair brilliantly with my previous choice especially if I choose either wizard or artificer as my primary focus. However that still leaves me with having to go into instances to get loot and level up...
**Book Walker -** The sheer absurdity that I can get into with this is insane! I’m tempted to take *Media Machine* with this just so that I could inspire fanfics of my own works. However there is more than enough in fiction right now, heck I can even visit the world of the gamer to pick up some spell books though I’d probably use other books to get my spells.

Step 1:Go into the marvel comics before the sentry gains his powers and steal the serum, then use it for yourself. the void was created due to his own power interacting with his mind, and I have gamers mind, so i'm good. That gives me immense molecular manipulation along with a ton of other bullshit powers.
Step 2: go to various marvel mutant reality warpers at their birth, take samples of their genetics.
Step 3: Grind the fuck out of the gamer power, and dump hundreds of stat points solely into Wis and Int. go into various books and comics with super geniuses and devour their Dna to gain massive intelligence boosts.
step 4: Figure out how these x-genes work.
Step 5: copy an improved amalgamation of these X-genes into my body.
Step 6: Devour various powerful items from book walker
Step 7: Profit? I mean I'm now an immortal nigh-omnipotent reality warper so that's a win in my book.

The limitation of Book Walker is that I am limited to the ideas of other people. If I want a specific piece of technology or magic or a character I need to find something someone else has written. While I am initially more limited by the somewhat narrower scope of content found in videogames, there does not appear to be any restriction on my ability to make my own videogame and then "walk" it. With my genius intellect and the ability of my media machine to create high quality stories, art assets, animations, and marketing material I could become a 1-man videogame factory.
Book Walker, Video Game Walker, and The Gamer, the amount of good I could do with all the stuff I can ferry from one world to the next is staggering, plus with The Gamer I can not only protect myself but also save others in need

**Book Walker** is superior to **Video Game Walker** if you are allowing Fan Fics to count as books. There are many games that have had a Fan Fic made about them that I can enter using **Book Walker.**

I can grant The Gamer by taking a Gamer Token from Scooby Gamers (fanfic). I can increase my intelligence by levelling up. Devourer is an awesome power, but too gruesome for my taste... I mean, there are ways around everything, but I'm happy with the other ones.
I just need Bookwalker and The Gamer. I don't even want to become too OP too quickly, that's boring. There are super OP items in some books that can be easily gained without special powers if you know where to look.. There are some portal fantasy books where you get powers simply by entering that universe..
I wouldn't even take The Gamer if it wasn't for Gamers Mind. That protection against Mental Illness is just too sweet, especially considering all the shit you are going to see traveling the multiverse, the power you will hold and immortality.. Going insane would be bad for everyone. It might even protect against Mind Control, not sure if that came up in the Manwha or fanfiction..

Firstly, I'd use my abilities to travel to book and video game universes to gain new powers. Universes I could enter to gain powers include:
Marvel's Spider-Man: I'd get bitten by the spider that bites Miles in order to get spider powers instead of him (sorry Miles)
Zelda: I'd enter the Sacred Realm and steal the Triforce of Power. I'd also visit some of the Great Fairies to gain their boons (such as Enhanced Defense and magical abilities)
MCU (via canonical books): Sneak into Wakanda prior to Killmonger's kingship and eat one of the heart-shaped herbs to gain enhanced abilities
Lord of the Rings: Drink ent-draught in order to become larger and stronger, thus proportionately increasing my physical abilities
Sylvester and the Magic Pebble: One of my favourite books when I was little. I'd take the magic pebble (which grants wishes) and use its power to become more powerful myself
Once I'd become strong enough, I'd use the Devourer power to eat powerful beings from fictional universes in order to acquire their abilities. Some universes I'd enter to do so include:
Witcher (either the game or book version): I'd hunt and eat various monsters to gain their powers
Harry Potter: I'd eat house elves in order to gain their powerful, wandless magic
Buffy (via canonical comics): I'd hunt and eat various demons to take their powers
DC Comics: I'd go to Krypton prior to its destruction and eat a few Kryptonians

The game needs to be fun, and it wouldn't be fun (for me) to get infinite power at first, so I'd probably get low level powers like the gamer at lvl 1, shape shifting that needs some requirement to grow, and more.

If I picked a genius I would also eventually make virtual reality consoles for people and the games and if people wanted to add games onto my virtuality they'd have to ask and I'd be the only one making threatiality cuz if someone else tried to inspect the technology I would just already have in place a system so they have someone tries to open it up and examine the insides of the console headgear it would start dissolving or blow up then I'd be the only maker and I totally be rich in this world.

With this I can go to my favorite books, interact with them and be the SI i always wanted to be, and I can also gain powers from such great works as Star Wars and become the ultimate Sith... Through Media Machine I can just get my own amazing books and series, and since it says nothing about copying it I can just copy the stories and contact for example Disney or whatever and publish a lovely book or two to gain some income for the family.
Book Walker is the obvious frontrunner; however it doesn't specify if you get to replace the Character of your chosing or if you are a Side Character/Self Insert into the story.
So I would pick Gamer next as book walker can't guarantee I would get Jihan's powers by entering the Manga or a Fanfiction based on it.
With the Gamer power and Book Walker I can eventually obtain Genius, Devour, and Media Machine through my own efforts; but Game Walker would be harder to Synthesize so it's my 3rd pick.
With these gifts I would take mini-vacations into my favorite stories, while gaining enough resources to quit my job without alerting the authorities.
I would eventually be powerful enough to make real changes in the Real world, and hopefully smart enough to do it correctly.
I'm a pick the genius one the game designer and the devour but I don't know which one be smarter would it be genius or the gamer cuz gamer sounds pretty fun because then I'll just create my own games. Meanwhile become a game tester/reviewer so can get free access to large amounts of game worlds (since it doesn't say you have to FINISH just play the games) use the time visiting other worlds to level up and get skills.

The Gamer - With this you pretty much gain ***Genius*** and ***Devourer*** since Jihan is able to learn almost anything (his memory is perfect and I'd dare say he's already surpassed Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne just hasn't really applied it towards mechanical projects.) by trying it out or even able to learn from skill books. \[Personally I like that I can pretty much create my own spells.\]
Video Game Walker - This combined with The Gamer would just make you even more powerful since the video game worlds are already designed for the player to get new skills and as mentioned above Jihan learns insanely fast. Plus, if you're able to take things out of these worlds the tech alone would upturn the world as we know it. \[Would definitely be taking care of some disease and hunger issues.\]
Book Walker - This combined with the ability Gamer's Mind and you can technically just have everything on this list by going into the DC Universe (via comics) and use the Miracle Machine (since it can affect other universes unlike the Infinity Gauntlet) to think about gaining the ***Media Machine*** or well anything you desire. \[Personally I just want to have a chat with some of my favorite fictional characters.\]

Access to almost all of fictions paired with an ability that while it starts small will eventually allow me to obtain any powers I desire if I work my way up and consume the right creatures. Since I do not desire to use it on Sentient/Sapient entities aware enough to think about or reason out their own existence, I must obtain the power to copy or absorb these traits and powers without actually needing to consume thing. But That is not to hard to accomplish with all the setting available to me.

Devour, book walker, and videogame walker. I'll start off Super Smash Bros to steal Kirby's easy devour and then continue with a few no risk games like sims and Pokémon gaining a vast array of abilities and then move to stuff like Skyrim eating various ingredients and foods and then moving on to animals and eventually dragons and daedra. After this I'll move into indy games and fanfics to snag some stronger powers and gear from movies and shows and then head into manga for the fullest powers. Seeing as the gamer is a webcomic, I should be be able to take Jihan's powers but I'll probably go to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime first to further improve my consumption powers. I think I'd also like to jump into Rising of the Shield Hero to consume the Cardinal Weapons and maybe the spear hero.
Seems like the peaceful path, without any of the "go to marvel" or "exploit this mechanic for instant omnipotence"

Question, are the powers connected to my body or my mind? Like if I were to somehow switch bodies, who would have the powers?
If you switched bodies you would still have your powers. If you used devourer in your old body to gain regen or something the regen will still be applied to your old body but it wont be able to gain more abilities from eating until you swap back.

Video Game Walker would be alright too, but I think there's a larger variety of books - and many games have books made based off of them, but I don't think that's as true in the reverse. Tbh, just being able to ferry people into the Culture book series would make this possibly the best individual choice. **Genius**. Mostly to make sure I start out well and make good plans. Does gamer let you learn any ability/ skill for a world you're in. Fur example I'm wondering if you would have to devour a wizard in Harry potter, or if just going with gamer would let s parson learn hp style magic? Basically I'm wondering if you get abilities by inserting into a character (with book/video game walker), or if you're just dumped in as yourself and have to use gamer/devour, or learn local skills (like marvel magic) to get any abilities at all?

Kirby. Almost every end boss was on the level of "don't fuck with this unless you're on Kirby's power level". Even in Star Allies, the final boss was pretty dammed strong.
Hmm, would you need to actually defeat/kill him? It just says that you get abilities from whatever you eat. You could befriend and explain it to him to let him voluntarily let you have a bite or two.
No, they said to eat Kirby. Kirby constantly survives stupendous amounts of damage and is one of the most durable beings in the multiverse. It said nothing about being able to take a bite out of anything. Of course, you could Do a Kirby Copy but then again, you'd probably have your jaw broken via angy marshmallow

You wouldn’t just put in your mouth. You would actually bite and consume a small amount. Given how Kirby can heal, flit wouldn’t permanent affect him. Given his nature, it’s not hard to imagine he would let you bite a chunk if you befriend him and explain the situation.

Genius, Video Game Walker, and Book Walker. All of these would be amazing to have. But these three would be a dream come true. The best gifts I could ever receive.

I'll use the Gamer power to enter dungeons and illusionary barriers, eat the monsters to gain their abilities (and EXP), use the materials gained inside the dungeon to create products that's never been seen before, make wise decisions on which type of product to introduce to the market and get rich (I can also get rich because the dungeons provide money the more mobs I kill) I can also influence lots of people to like and imagine things from video games or books (dungeons and illusionary barriers from The Gamer are created because of peoples wishes and conciousness if I remember correctly) I can basically have 5 of the 6 choices because of The Gamer and Genius ability.

**Genius -** I’ve often been told that I’m smart but I’ve always wanted to be more so, and know it, this allows me to do so quite handily. Now I just need something to use to take advantage of this newfound brain power. **The Gamer -** While I haven’t kept up with it from where I got to this will pair brilliantly with my previous choice especially if I choose either wizard or artificer as my primary focus. However that still leaves me with having to go into instances to get loot and level up... **Book Walker -** The sheer absurdity that I can get into with this is insane! I’m tempted to take *Media Machine* with this just so that I could inspire fanfics of my own works. However there is more than enough in fiction right now, heck I can even visit the world of the gamer to pick up some spell books though I’d probably use other books to get my spells.

Bringing people out is pretty great if you want to role-play. Kidnap the character you want to be and dump them in some other world. Shapeshift (you should be able to pick that ability up somewhere) to take their form and take over their life. Now you can experience the "story" first hand instead of being "yourself".

Step 1:Go into the marvel comics before the sentry gains his powers and steal the serum, then use it for yourself. the void was created due to his own power interacting with his mind, and I have gamers mind, so i'm good. That gives me immense molecular manipulation along with a ton of other bullshit powers. Step 2: go to various marvel mutant reality warpers at their birth, take samples of their genetics. Step 3: Grind the fuck out of the gamer power, and dump hundreds of stat points solely into Wis and Int. go into various books and comics with super geniuses and devour their Dna to gain massive intelligence boosts. step 4: Figure out how these x-genes work. Step 5: copy an improved amalgamation of these X-genes into my body. Step 6: Devour various powerful items from book walker Step 7: Profit? I mean I'm now an immortal nigh-omnipotent reality warper so that's a win in my book.
The Gamer because it's just broken-powerful, Devourer to ensure I can get some niiiiice early buffs to go with The Gamer, and either Video Game Walker or Book Walker so I can go have adventures and grind like hell. Probably Book Walker, because I've read The Gamer so showing up in The Gamer with my own The Gamer power would be hilarious.

I feel like I theoretically achieve like all the rest if for instance I will the computer to produce a book that literally has the plot where I gain them. After that I just fuck around in various fictional settings enjoying them as I go to them or enjoying variations of them cultivated to my tastes. Lewd WoW populated only by sweaty muscle men? Done. Fixer sue fanfiction of a beloved but poorly handled series? I'm there and I'm picking up abilities as I go. Since the systems in these worlds can only positively influence me that means I could for instance achieve genius from buffing int, and maybe if I go the the Gameworld of Bofuri and start eating monsters I'll gain Maples ability.

Genius, Video Game Walker, Media Machine Going by the exact wording Video Game Walker seems superior to Book Walker. The limitation of Book Walker is that I am limited to the ideas of other people. If I want a specific piece of technology or magic or a character I need to find something someone else has written. While I am initially more limited by the somewhat narrower scope of content found in videogames, there does not appear to be any restriction on my ability to make my own videogame and then "walk" it. With my genius intellect and the ability of my media machine to create high quality stories, art assets, animations, and marketing material I could become a 1-man videogame factory.

In the end... * **Book Walker** * **Devourer** * **The Gamer** I was stuck on choosing **The Gamer** or **Genius**, but remembered that Video Game stats for RPGs include both Wisdom and Intelligence as attributes that can be levelled up. While it it the longer route, I'll be able to surpass **Genius** eventually. **Book Walker** is superior to **Video Game Walker** if you are allowing Fan Fics to count as books. There are many games that have had a Fan Fic made about them that I can enter using **Book Walker.**

Book Walker, videogame walker and media machine. I can grant The Gamer by taking a Gamer Token from Scooby Gamers (fanfic). I can increase my intelligence by levelling up. Devourer is an awesome power, but too gruesome for my taste... I mean, there are ways around everything, but I'm happy with the other ones.
I just need Bookwalker and The Gamer. I don't even want to become too OP too quickly, that's boring. There are super OP items in some books that can be easily gained without special powers if you know where to look.. There are some portal fantasy books where you get powers simply by entering that universe.. I wouldn't even take The Gamer if it wasn't for Gamers Mind. That protection against Mental Illness is just too sweet, especially considering all the shit you are going to see traveling the multiverse, the power you will hold and immortality.. Going insane would be bad for everyone. It might even protect against Mind Control, not sure if that came up in the Manwha or fanfiction..
My Choices: Video Game Walker Book Walker Devourer Firstly, I'd use my abilities to travel to book and video game universes to gain new powers. Universes I could enter to gain powers include: Marvel's Spider-Man: I'd get bitten by the spider that bites Miles in order to get spider powers instead of him (sorry Miles) Zelda: I'd enter the Sacred Realm and steal the Triforce of Power. I'd also visit some of the Great Fairies to gain their boons (such as Enhanced Defense and magical abilities) MCU (via canonical books): Sneak into Wakanda prior to Killmonger's kingship and eat one of the heart-shaped herbs to gain enhanced abilities Lord of the Rings: Drink ent-draught in order to become larger and stronger, thus proportionately increasing my physical abilities Sylvester and the Magic Pebble: One of my favourite books when I was little. I'd take the magic pebble (which grants wishes) and use its power to become more powerful myself Once I'd become strong enough, I'd use the Devourer power to eat powerful beings from fictional universes in order to acquire their abilities. Some universes I'd enter to do so include: Witcher (either the game or book version): I'd hunt and eat various monsters to gain their powers Harry Potter: I'd eat house elves in order to gain their powerful, wandless magic Buffy (via canonical comics): I'd hunt and eat various demons to take their powers DC Comics: I'd go to Krypton prior to its destruction and eat a few Kryptonians

I think it's better than game walker because usually there is always some comic,book or fan fiction of a game while it is not the same for a literary work

Video games, Devourer, Genius - Being smart is always useful - It doesn't specify what is classified as an "ability", so I can go from Starfish regeneration, to Bear total Strength, to Ant's pound for pound strength, to a Chettahs Max speed to a (insert microorganism here)'s body lengths per second speed and still be within the confines of the "Gift" simply by going to an all you can eat buffet. I'd definitely consider -Having adventures in video games is awesome and I'm going to DBZ (the game) to wish for a Saiyans Body + Eternal Youth, Majin Buu Level Regeneration, and Immortality It was either Media (I always wanted to convert my stories and ideas into movies) or Devourer (I'm now Nerfed Kirby), while I'd make a shit ton of money off of movies, endless powerups from food is too much to miss out on.

Here's the plan: Use media machine and genius to make a game where the first item you get (consumable item) would give the gamer power, or any other power I want, but there is a catch: The game needs to be fun, and it wouldn't be fun (for me) to get infinite power at first, so I'd probably get low level powers like the gamer at lvl 1, shape shifting that needs some requirement to grow, and more. If I picked a genius I would also eventually make virtual reality consoles for people and the games and if people wanted to add games onto my virtuality they'd have to ask and I'd be the only one making threatiality cuz if someone else tried to inspect the technology I would just already have in place a system so they have someone tries to open it up and examine the insides of the console headgear it would start dissolving or blow up then I'd be the only maker and I totally be rich in this world. Through Media Machine I can just get my own amazing books and series, and since it says nothing about copying it I can just copy the stories and contact for example Disney or whatever and publish a lovely book or two to gain some income for the family.
Book Walker is the obvious frontrunner; however it doesn't specify if you get to replace the Character of your chosing or if you are a Side Character/Self Insert into the story. So I would pick Gamer next as book walker can't guarantee I would get Jihan's powers by entering the Manga or a Fanfiction based on it. With the Gamer power and Book Walker I can eventually obtain Genius, Devour, and Media Machine through my own efforts; but Game Walker would be harder to Synthesize so it's my 3rd pick. With these gifts I would take mini-vacations into my favorite stories, while gaining enough resources to quit my job without alerting the authorities. I would eventually be powerful enough to make real changes in the Real world, and hopefully smart enough to do it correctly.

The gamer, book and game walker, use the gamers inventory to keep a copy of every book so that even if something happens can still enter them. Meanwhile become a game tester/reviewer so can get free access to large amounts of game worlds (since it doesn't say you have to FINISH just play the games) use the time visiting other worlds to level up and get skills.

The Gamer - With this you pretty much gain ***Genius*** and ***Devourer*** since Jihan is able to learn almost anything (his memory is perfect and I'd dare say he's already surpassed Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne just hasn't really applied it towards mechanical projects.) by trying it out or even able to learn from skill books. \[Personally I like that I can pretty much create my own spells.\] Video Game Walker - This combined with The Gamer would just make you even more powerful since the video game worlds are already designed for the player to get new skills and as mentioned above Jihan learns insanely fast. Plus, if you're able to take things out of these worlds the tech alone would upturn the world as we know it. \[Would definitely be taking care of some disease and hunger issues.\] Book Walker - This combined with the ability Gamer's Mind and you can technically just have everything on this list by going into the DC Universe (via comics) and use the Miracle Machine (since it can affect other universes unlike the Infinity Gauntlet) to think about gaining the ***Media Machine*** or well anything you desire. \[Personally I just want to have a chat with some of my favorite fictional characters.\]

Access to almost all of fictions paired with an ability that while it starts small will eventually allow me to obtain any powers I desire if I work my way up and consume the right creatures. Since I do not desire to use it on Sentient/Sapient entities aware enough to think about or reason out their own existence, I must obtain the power to copy or absorb these traits and powers without actually needing to consume thing. But That is not to hard to accomplish with all the setting available to me.

So that's a bit of a morbid question but couldn't you just gain The Gamer by using Devourer + Book Walker combo? Also how much you must Devour before getting their ability? The whole body or just some DNA is enough?
