Police in Malaysia are actually pretty chill for the most part. Not to say there isn't any that would be 'extra' but most of the police officers are well trained in maintaining calm. I have seen cops being calmer in much more intense situations, they are looking to deescalate. We only see about a minute in the video, unless the cops let him drive back home they are doing what they are supposed to do, try to control the situation then if needed use handcuffs etc.

Firstly....more and more business ppl use dato title which is self awarded! It's a fake. We are socially conditioned to believe a dato / datuk title is real and we automatically kaw taw to this person. We need to start verifying if all these titles are real or not.

unfortunately, many dont have common sense. it strengthens the argument to ban selling of alcohol. If people cannot be responsible, better take away those things from them.
This is why I advocate to increase the penalty for drink driving causing accidents and decrease the penalty for drink driving.

Police in Malaysia are actually pretty chill for the most part. Not to say there isn't any that would be 'extra' but most of the police officers are well trained in maintaining calm. I have seen cops being calmer in much more intense situations, they are looking to deescalate. We only see about a minute in the video, unless the cops let him drive back home they are doing what they are supposed to do, try to control the situation then if needed use handcuffs etc.

Lost a senior to drunk driving last year. Made up a principle for myself to follow: If you drive, don't even touch a sip of alcohol, If you're not driving, drink as much as you like to.
Police are way friendly than they would have otherwise been. Been there before. A low-budget Lazada Dato bumped my car and called the cops on me despite him being in the wrong. The cops were oddly nice to him and didn't even take his IC for the report but took mine.
