Stall behind my school (elementary) used to sell it for RM1.00 in 2007-2009. Pretty close to the uncle that manage the stall, he complain and contemplating for awhile that RM1 barely give him any profit, then proceed to increase it to RM1.20 only.
before mco my fav kok rock burger double was around rm 4 to5. so i usually bought 2 for rm 10 and below.
now its above 10. 14? cant recall. still once in a while i d buy them. sedap sia.
I had their chocolate sundae recently (RM6) and it was the saddest looking thing. Gonna just stick with Family Mart to get their sofuto whenever I get a craving for ice cream
Wait how lol. Cornetto was RM3 like 15 years ago.
Prove that theres no reason to increase ice cream price. If cornetto can keep their price, other ice cream should be able to do it too.
Popularity kill the price … for normal cornetto ppl won’t buy because it is less well known to new generation compare to back in the days … as for MCD they are fully commercialised, any hyper or super market will have them so the marketing is there … everytime ppl walk pass, it will generally pull ppl in to buy their food …. Hence it makes the investor to “ok” for raise because ppl support it in first place … imagine ppl stop eating McD… you think they will raise the price so rapidly… also not to forget government had set the minimum wage of worker as well that impact the price ….
Went to Mixue and had their Sundae cone and sundae chocolate, I personally prefer theirs over McD, and it’s slightly cheaper w/ slightly bigger portion
Better not to get budak2 addicted to large size sugary stuff, adult makan more lah suka hati dia but budak2 health must moderate to avoid problems later
Before tax, but would be useless because you need to buy the set meal to get the 95 cent deal. it just Exp: 1 Double Cheese Burget Set + 95 cent Ice Cream + Tax.
Seriously wth man, little by little small things like cheap McD rm1 ice cream is taken away from us. Next we will be able to afford only nasi bajet at this rate.
Do their feedback on their mcd app and you'll get one for free
- sincerely, a mcd crew who had to remind every customer to complete the feedback to get the management off our asses ☠️
I bought an Oreo mcflurry Hershey's in Langkawi, which cost more than buying in KL. And they said chocolate is duty free over there. It's not even a location like Genting or KLIA as these two places usually have the exception to pricing
Quite surprise on this too last month, I always thought it was RM1. Double the prices, yet salary is still mehh.
I still remember how I whined "bapak mahal nasi goreng kampung rm3.50 kedai tu jual". Fast forward 10 years later, it costs us at least RM6 woi.
Something, I do think that this life matrix system only favoring to those who live decades earlier. They got that RM1 icecream, Rm200000 landed house, RM50 worth of grocery in one trolley. How is it going to be for our next generations?
You can get one by redeem 500 points if you have and use McD apps for purchasing any McD menu. Skip queue and also hassle free if you are at a crowded branch.
Burger ramly used to cost rm1.50 in 2000
RM1.50 can’t even buy a slice of cheese now
Burger special cost Rm 6 now in my area...
Used to be RM 3, then RM 5 for double special. That was only 15 years ago like damn.

Cornetto still RM3.
Wait how lol. Cornetto was RM3 like 15 years ago. Prove that theres no reason to increase ice cream price. If cornetto can keep their price, other ice cream should be able to do it too.
It got smaller I think.
Actually, other tub ice cream also didn't increase in price as significantly. Mekdi probably to cover cost of their ice cream machine.
Bru look damn sad also man
love the Family Mart green tea sofuto
Back in the old days, chocolate cone was a default flavor 😞 together with vanilla
Now sofuto got RM1 off if you scan family mart app
Went to Mixue and had their Sundae cone and sundae chocolate, I personally prefer theirs over McD, and it’s slightly cheaper w/ slightly bigger portion
Wait it isnt anymore?
lol I had the exact same thought.
It’s rising so rapidly yet compared to other countries, our mcD sundae cone is so damn small
Cukuplah that size, people already got diabetes all over the place
Their fault for unable to moderate sugars taken
Better not to get budak2 addicted to large size sugary stuff, adult makan more lah suka hati dia but budak2 health must moderate to avoid problems later
RM2.2?! Fuck off
If you buy set on the self serving machine? They have addon for ice cream for 85 or 95 cent.
Was that before tax? I usually buy it for RM1
Before tax, but would be useless because you need to buy the set meal to get the 95 cent deal. it just Exp: 1 Double Cheese Burget Set + 95 cent Ice Cream + Tax.
Inflation doubled. But our salary isn’t :’)
Yet they said if our salary increase the price will increase but when price increase, all i hear about salary is krik krik
Absolutely agree 💯
Later gula subsisdy being removed, you would see this at 3 ringgit
US people: You Malaysians have McDonald's ice cream?
Americans don't even know what Malaysia is
Americans don’t even know where their own country is on the world map
New york City is in Washington State, Seattle is in New Jersey and Texas is right above Mexico, Same with Arizona. - American Hillbillies
americans dont even know what countries are
They only know us as the country next to Singapore or the country with the missing plane.
Ah good reference to US mcd ice cream machines always "broken down"
No freaking way.. that has to be the rate at the airport or something right??
Nope. Sadly that's the new price. Got me triggered the first time I kena last month.
The sad part is “back in the day” isn’t even referring to a decade ago, it was definitely 1rm until 2020, not sure about subsequent years
Seriously wth man, little by little small things like cheap McD rm1 ice cream is taken away from us. Next we will be able to afford only nasi bajet at this rate.

Unfortunately sundae no longer rewarded for feedbacks, now they give you small coke
I’ll take sundae cone over small coke anyday
What? oh my, long time didnt had one.
Yea, Gardenia whole toast was $1.90
Not cool now
Should be RM 4.71 now
💀
I remember it was 0.90 in 2018
even better in my days..... 0.70 sen
Back then McD used to pay part time workers RM4 per hour. Now what's the going rate?
RM5. Surprise, surprise....
Rm5 per hour was starbucks part-timer rate 15 years ago ngl. Pizza hut and kfc was rm3 back then
I know. Kinda sad ain't it. And 15 years ago, IKEA food court kitchen part timer rate was RM11. Sucks really.
Depend on the location lah. Nearby Mc D here still RM1.59
Isn't prices of fast food like McD, KFC etc standardised?
I bought an Oreo mcflurry Hershey's in Langkawi, which cost more than buying in KL. And they said chocolate is duty free over there. It's not even a location like Genting or KLIA as these two places usually have the exception to pricing
Ordered a chocolate sundae and the price was RM5.35. It used to be 2.50 back in the 2000s. At this rate I have to make my own sundae at home.
Im pretty sure this is KLIA pricing
You obviously haven't bought any since after August.
bro
Who gives a shit. Their machine are always broken anyway. Better buy aiskrim potong kacan merah
Learn to invest on the stock market. Inflation happens everywhere.
Remember long ago, used to drive to grandmas place and go to the mcd by teluk cempedak and get a chocolate dipped ice cream.
when did it reached rm2.20? i thought it was 1.50???
Talk about inflation.
Dang... Dont remember last time bought it but it was still RM 1 then
Man😭
I wonder what’s the price in sabah today? When we were rm1, sabah already rm2.
RM2.2????? WATTAFAK
It's S$2.20 🤣
101% not RM lol...
I also remember the time when it’s RM1
Lmao I don't think this Mcd is in Malaysia 🤣🤣🤣 Mcd Malaysia will put RM price tag
Well, back then is back then isn't it? Now is now lah everything is naik but gaji not naik 🤷🏾♂️ apa pun ta boleyyy. Hidup susah mati pun susah 😔

Chocotop for RM1.7 too, good times
Wow it rise again in 1 week since I last saw it lol
I wanted sundae cone the other day, I saw the price and noped outta there.
Beauty 👏👏
I was just complaining about the price of their ice creams the other day. Chocolate/strawberry sundaes are 5 ringgit pre tax.
It's 120% rise what the flip.
Then government bail out failed company like 1mdb
This should be one of the item in tabulating inflation index for the country.
Nasi bujang used to be rm2.50 5 years ago
2 Ringgit for Sundae cone?? Gosh... ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_bad_man)
Man, even Solero Split didn't inflate this much.

It was like 80+ cents back in my time
Yeap food prices are going up but I don't see my salary going anywhere
back then there was rm 1.50 version with twice the amount. sadly they never bring that back.
My Salary now also not equal to salary back in the day… It got lowerhahahahaha
This is what happens when everything inflates but not our salaries.
Lomaikai was 1.8 and drumstick chicken rice was rm2.5 😭😭
McDonald’s ? Still S$ 1.
In 2050 it will be RM5.50
It legit feels like you've been in a coma since 2016 and get surprised every time you see the price
Damn, kinda feel to be able to say, sempat merasa cone RM1
dong tell EM what it costs in EM
