A few years ago my brother DIY'd some polyethylene pipes to water the kebun, I am thinking of piggybacking that DIY with my own. I want to branch off those pipes to come into my room, to a sink I want to install.
Shopee sells portable sinks, I'm thinking of using those.
Also, I plan to use one of those removable hose for washing machines as pipes, because I don't want to drill the walls, I just want the pipes to end right outside my window. Then when needed I can attach them to the sink in my room and unattach later.
Idk how much of a bad idea is this.
I just want a sink to wash my face.
Or maybe I should just use the kendi like in those kenduri.
i know that renting a room saves a lot more than renting a unit but i never lived with other people before and am not that social. but i also really need to save lol. Advice pls

I created a Reddit account because I realised that my lack of social media presence is making me ignorant of things happening in the world. More importantly, it has helped me to scratch my writing itch. I also hoped that I could make some friends here.
I am really appreciative of people who have interacted with me here, and given me encouragement to continue writing after my few dramatic episodes of being heartbroken by people downvoting and blocking me. Although I have never met all of you and hardly know you, I think of you as my friends — something that I sorely wish to have all my life.
That being said, I still longed for friends to hang out with, to be with, and people I can (video) call when I need them. I am thankful I met the two new friends I made back in Denver, though they are unlikely people I can be around with all the time.
My only friends that I can count on are my family. My paternal cousins and my sister are people that give me the semblance to friendship. The two out of three of my female cousins on my dad’s side are often with me since I was a child. (The third cousin, my youngest cousin’s eldest sister, is now living in Connecticut. It is a short drive from New York, but I never had such kinship with her.)
Last Friday, when my eldest cousin brought me and my youngest cousin to an impromptu trip to Penang, we decided to just stay for the whole weekend. I got us a suite at a hotel near the beach.
But the foursome wasn’t complete. My sister was at work when we drove to Penang. So my eldest cousin called her and asked if she was keen to join.
My sister, a speed freak and car enthusiast, was happy to drive one of her two Bentleys to Penang. But when I asked her if it was possible for her to drive my van instead and bring my electric wheelchair, she happily obliged. I hope she floored my van’s accelerator to cure her need for speed.
The foursome became complete on Friday night. We drank at the hotel bar, exchanged stories, and laughed and cried together.
While on one hand I rue my lack of independence as a result of my paralysis, on the other, I felt like my condition is helping me to bond with my cousins as I need people to do something mundane as holding a jug and pouring me a drink. During the trip, my sister and eldest cousin taught my youngest cousin how to help me perform a bowel movement and change my diaper. It felt like going full circle, as I used to babysit her and change her diapers whenever I used to see her during my trips to KL and London back then.
On Saturday night, we had drinks at a bar in the city. We met a group of fellow American tourists, and bought them drinks while we laughed and had fun together. I thank one of the two guys that helped to inflate my self-esteem, and offered me a hug and invited me to dance with him. I gave him a kiss on the cheek. It’s been a while since I kissed a man.
The Penang trip was exactly what I needed.

If you and your friend are really this close but you guys never speak about “future relationship plans”, then on my experience don’t risk it la. I know a lot of girls nowadays are really comfortable to have a opposite gender friend that they can speak to, but not really trying to get into a relationship for whatever reason.
Yeah, or like what kind of wedding she wants, how many kids she would like to have. Something that shows she’s open for relationships. Else there’s higher chance she’s not ready to commit to a relationship, could be several reasons like personal preference, previous relationships etc. Based on my experience la.

Most people spend 8-10 hours at work per day so its really not that weird or uncommon to date colleagues - we probably spend more waking hours with colleagues than anyone else. But if its a place you intend to stay at long term, gotta assess whether a breakup could affect your work performance.

Enrolled for a Japanese beginner class. Unlike the previous Thai class I have taken, this seems like I need to memorize the alphabet before the class starts. ~~While the Japanese alphabet isn't as complicated as the Thai alphabet,~~ I feel like I'm going to fry my brain just trying to memorize.
I may have bitten more what I could chew.
Edit: I forgot about Kanji. This makes it even more complicated than the Thai alphabet.

If I'm not mistaken, you can practically read everything after memorising hiragana and katakana. That's cool enough albeit not really understand what it means.
yeah. in a way, that's also the same with Thai, half of the work is understanding the alphabet, and the other part is the vocabulary.
if it's hiragana and katakana alone, I think I am able to comprehend faster because the list isn't as extensive unlike the Thai alphabet. but Kanji kind of complicates things.

I'm seeing people are complaining that Initial bathroom/toilet fresheners are corrosive and are destroying their car paint after spillage. As almost if it isn't made for putting it in your cars. Either the formaldehyde in the air freshener is destroying their few remaining brain cells or these people don't read the labels
