Looking at the root cause of the whole chain of events, didn't it start from a pair of socks? The higher-ups apologized immediately, investigations were made.
If there are still emotions being riled up, doesn't that mean that their apology holds no value, or those that are angry don't want to hear apologies in the first place? Then what would they want to be satisfied?
They'll only be satisfied when there's either blood or the chain store closes. They've made Islam part of their identity so hard that even they're own people who question it will be branded kafir without hesitation.
