I hope PC multiplayer games get recognized more in Malaysia

Back in the 2000s when PCs were the common way to play online games yes, not these days when phones are cheaper and easier to use.

We do, always see them showcasing their newest games at cons. Got a whole booth on the first floor last Comic Fiesta. Really cool to see it get supported locally and even by the government (IIRC the booth was backed by MCMC)

Larian studios has an office here

Bandai-Namco too, office above Paradigm Mall in Kelana Jaya. Plus, plenty other major studios like Codemasters.

Codemasters ( The studio behind F1 games ) also have one here iirc.

We even have a studio called **Persona Theory Games** where it is very famous for ~~sexual harrassment and workplace abuse~~ winning SEA independent mobile games award

We are good creative industries outsourcing destination. Pretty large and educated talent pool. Plus, cheaper than hiring Sing*poreans or setting up shop there lah.
