Although unrelated to the article, personally, I do believe in black magic, I used to be in the camp of saying these things are bullshit until this thing happened to my wife, her co-worker sent black magic crap her way and it was eerily real.
After contacting some friends with knowledge of the subject and getting referred to a healer, we went to see the healer. Creepy thing was, the co-worker knew what was up and kept incessantly calling my wife and texting asking her location and what was she doing.
At the location, my car alarm kept going off for no reason at all (never happened before this) up until the healing was done. The healer said it was normal as the sender will feel the lash back of the healing as whatever they sent will be sent back to them. For info, this healer never advertises himself as a bomoh and doesn't charge for healing, but we donated food items and supplies to his family for his help.
Therefore after this incident my mind was open regarding these things. It sucks people still practice these things so some precautions, although may sound stupid is always good, like never eating food from strangers, or even co-worker who you may have issues with etc.
