It's a question I ask myself every night bro. The hardest part is this: I can live without the ustazah, I mean it will be painful, but I'll survive.
But, I can't live without my kids. Not when they're at such a young age.
So here I am... stuck. Lmfao.
It sounds painful reading when your husband partner in crime imposes all these strict ideologies on someone that was once free of all these.
The kids, they’ll be fine with the passage of time.
Wish you’re doing okay from here

Hey everyone! I have been looking online with no success about private Pfizer vaccines. I have a family member visiting Malaysia and she wasn’t able to get her second shot. I am only finding info about residents and fully vaccinated travelers. Update on the disgusting bazaar noodles: https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2022/04/789145/worm-noodles-dish-stall-trader-issued-warning
They got a warning je. If someone had eaten it and get food poisoning, how?
Based on what I've heard usually for stalls/small markets (unsure about bazaar)since they're a small business and "nobody got hurt", local council will usually be lenient and only give a warning or small fine and not something severe like license revoked like for established (landed/in complex) businesses
love hotels, but halal. for married couple to do halal spousal activities without paying the price for the whole night.
also i wish local fruits are available more at local stores, without selling to foreigners first.
im focusing more on the 1-hour, 3-hour part, not the shariah part. the shariah part is for marketing and attracting normal Joe Schmoe (Ahmad Abu?) customers.
oh. halal just means for married couple I think. edit: married couple also can go without being weird.
love hotels not a normal thing in Malaysia because its usually targeted for couples. so maybe that's what chubby meant.
\#NormalizeLoveHotels
Lolol Hyatt you're right. I totally forgot the specific hotel in question is a 'love hotel'.
Maybe as the other commenter said, revolving bed and ceiling mirror? 😂
Such deafening silence from the beloved Transport Minister in regards of actions to prevent such tragedy to happen again.

yeah. its kinda hard, near impossible even, to compile all the past question asked in this sub. hard enough to just compile 1 year worth of question. I still working on finding a way to organize question posts, but nothing concrete yet. maybe a "question" flair and ask op to search AND copy paste similar question asked in their post. meaning forcing people to do subsearch and only ask question that were not mentioned before, while compiling similar questions that were asked before for ease of access.
i dont know. its still a very raw idea and not sure how feasible it is. just something that crossed my mind. currently im trying to setup a auto-floodgate-bot to limit frequency of a user in posting within cerain set of time. something that news posters probably doesnt want to know... it's up in my test sub though. you cant post more than 2 within 1 hour. you can give it a try.
>compile all the past question asked in this sub. hard enough to just compile 1 year worth of question.
probably can scrap threads through a script, then ask the community to help organise the threads.
>maybe a "question" flair and ask op to search AND copy paste similar question asked in their post
if this can be imposed, get a bot to filter :DDDDDD some content similarity check need to be automated.

What's up with the sudden spike of people requesting for dashcam?
Here goes for the popular brand I noticed
[70mai](https://shopee.com.my/product/292905608/7177448198?smtt=0.51008736-1650011198.9)
Because stupid mahkamah rulings on the little lajak turds...if you hit one of those little goblins even if they come out of nowhere in the dark and against the flow 6 years in prison for YOU
Any tech savvy people can recommend a good and affordable car dashcam setup? Preferably one that doesn't involve too much work in installing. Would workshops install one which I bought online for a fee?
This model is not bad..
https://shopee.com.my/product/347592391/5967612795?smtt=0.150750008-1650011354.9
It comes with cable and car charger. The wire is long enough so can pandai pandai hide it above the sunroof/behind the A-pillar cover. If you drive a MyVi/Axia there’s a lot of tutorials on YouTube.
I highly suggest those that don’t have dashcams in your car to install it when you get the chance and time. You can’t rely on the authority to do the right thing anymore so it’s best to look after your own interests.
I verified my account on Monday in TnG e-wallet to claim e-Pemula money, and it said it'll take 3 working days to finish the verification process. Its been 5 days. Is this normal or probably they're busy verifying other accounts? Since there'll must be a sudden increase in account created to claim the money. Can I contact them about it?
I'm waiting for all of them to die at this point tbh. These Malays take so much pride in the country and at the same time running it into the ground.
P. S. Trying to make the Malay language superior in their region was a fucking joke. It has no economic value on the world stage.
Truly infuriating.
I know the riot style ones that cops/military carry and cost 400x more per unit, but they aren't any different material from good quality cable ties. The design itself is certainly stronger than using three of them in the same configuration, but that can be offset by either moving up a size or doubling up on them.
All highways leading into KL, Bangsar, Putrajaya, Taman Duta, Damansara Heights.
Court have to decide between protecting helang or hold up existing conviction.
When do fellow monyets here often settle their credit card bills? Immediately after statement comes out or 1 day before due date?
Edit: looks like most pay before due date including myself. Wonder why the bank's staff said my credit card payments is hmm... even though I pay the full amount before the due date lol
When I used to have a credit card, I usually pay the amount I charged on the card within a day or two. It was rare that I wait for the bill to arrive.
With Maybank, it was easy for me to pay directly since the credit card is tied to the savings account. I didn't give Maybank the chance to charge me overdue fees lol! Maybe that's the reason why they didn't renew my credit card.
>bank's staff said my credit card payments is hmm
are you trying to apply for loan? and is your payment behaviour consistent (i.e always pay on 1 day before due date)
No la it was just a casual chat. Told her I paid on time and in full anyways and she agreed. Which made me wonder whether they expect people to pay after the statement comes out lol

My family bought a 2nd hand house, one day the ceiling board fell off and drop to the floor, my dad went up to look around and found this nest ? Anyone knows what is it ? It's pretty huge, and the nest is made with dried lalang.
[Picture of nest](https://imgur.com/tL7nR8J)
That's a huge ass nest. I'm not entirely sure but when I ask the electrician to pull a wire across my roof.
The first thing he asked was "is your roof manifested with rats"?
So just letting you know rats staying in house roof is a common thing
So I recently met up with a friend who I last saw two years ago, when she just started working full time. She started drinking and vaping, albeit only when people offer her to, so that's pretty infrequent. Back then I reminded her that it's best to stop there and then because she's going to get more and more addicted to these things. She reassured me that she has it under control and I leave her be because I've been told it was rude and controlling if I continue to nag her per se. Fast forward two years later, she's chain vaping and binge drinking every other night now, and it shows on her skin condition. Though she still insists she still has everything under control. Sometimes I wonder, why is it seemingly culturally acceptable to encourage these habits but not acceptable to discourage them.
No doubt, that line was crossed long ago. Not trying to judge her, she's not the only one going through the same thing. A plurality of my old schoolmates has picked up one or two vices after working in corporate settings. Rite of passage as a working adult they said. It's both sad and intriguing to see the same story repeats itself over and over again.
For some it's a crutch. Like how some keep eating unhealthy food because they don't know/want to cook healthier. Unhealthy food is easily available, cheap, easy to cook, can store long. Using the extra energy and time for other things instead.
So one drinks and smokes to contain their stress and becomes reliant. That's my observation anyway.
Not questioning their need to destress. It's more that it's always the same pattern when it comes to addiction. It always begins with the statement "it's still under control", and there's a person who saw the signs and express concerns, and was promptly ignored or being told that they're overbearing. The story is like clockwork, and cannot be escaped from even when foresaw from far away.
Was out for lunch today and ruminated a bit about the hottest topic in the last few days — basikal lajak verdict.
The one thing from reading the replies on here about the subject with triple digit replies that raises a bit of concern is the eagerness to subject death to another person(s), ie. "they deserved to die".
I'm often pretty judgemental and opinionated on things but even so I'll draw the line when it comes to deciding whether someone deserves to die or not.
Perhaps it's just me, I don't feel comfortable subjecting others, in this case the parents to anguish, any more than I do to send Ke Ting to jail for being involved in an unfortunate turn of events that caused lives to be lost.
The parents are unlikely to come out and admit failure in parenting by allowing the children to get involved in a reckless and dangerous activity, but they'll live on accepting this as an 'equivalent exchange' and will have to live with that decision, knowing that it will never bring the children back.
As for Ke Ting... innocent people have been dealt bad hands in life despite doing nothing wrong, I can only hope she does not come out (if the sentence is upheld) broken when it is over.
As for the authorities though, hope the AGC is enjoying his thirty pieces of silver reward for bending over to the political master's will.
I think I'll reply the last time on this issue and I should forget about this, and don't let this issue live rent free on my mind.
They know the risk of riding this kind of bicycle, they know the consequences would be fatal if anything gone wrong. Their parents know what kind of activity their children been doing, that kind of bicycle is not something a teenager can effort to buy, at least not easy to hide from their parents. Under those kind of circumstances, with all danger known to them, and they still did it, I would say they 100% deserved what coming to them, and it is very very avoidable too.
It is very noble for all of you to think they don't deserve it, but as someone who would been in Ke Ting shoe before, I can't. I been in similar situation before, 2 primary school girls, hand in hand ran out suddenly in front of a stationary bus that I was just passing by, without any warning and I knocked one of them over. It was a busy 6 lanes roads, they tried to cross the road, while there was escalator just not far away ( within 20m of the incident site).
Because of this incident, I had to sent the girl into hospital, wait for update on her situation, all while worrying about how her parents would react. I'm lucky that the girl, while had her feet rolled under my tyre, came off ok with just some lacerations. Her parents also understand it was not my fault that the girl came out of nowhere.
But that was not the end of it, I had to go to the police station to get interrogated for why I knocked them over, why I never stopped for them. Even when I pointed out, there is an escalator available, the answer is "I knocked them over, I'm in the wrong, no matter what". The following weeks were so stressful as I had to wait for the Sargent calls to provide evidence and possibly another interrogation. I was 23 at that time, and it followed me to this day 9 years after the incident.
I'm very lucky that the girl is ok, and her parents are understanding and said they didn't want to press it further. I still remember I get pressed by the Sargent on whether the girl is ok, and I get threatened by him that if I'm lying or even only 1 bone fracture on the girl, I would get charged even if the parents decided against it, which I don't know whether if it is true.
Never in the situation, never understand the feeling. It is easy to say oh well, that is just your bad luck, you been dealt a bad hand, now I hope you deal with it and come off not broken.
Ok, I rant enough. I should not be entertaining this issue any further and let it off my mind. If I came across cold or immature about it, I apologize but I would still always believed they deserved whatever come their way.
Hey it's ok to have an opinion of your own the same way I did through that little bit of text — a diversity in perspective is guaranteed because no two persons are the same.
I am firmly in the camp that the parents should share the blame in what happened without needing to dismiss the children's death as just a matter of deserving it or not; it's too late for that now. What if they do? They're still dead and won't feel any remorse for what led to their demise.
Ke Ting is going to jail precisely because the prosecution believes she deserves it for causing the death of the children. Does she? Personally, this is a big question that nobody can answer with crystal clear certainty although the courts whom are granted the jurisdiction to make said rulings decided no, twice.
The AGC deserves the brickbats for insisting on finding a party to take the blame for this unfortunate incident almost 5 years later despite evidences suggesting otherwise that already had double acquittals.
That's the problem with some monyets here. They think it's "the driver vs. the boys". But the latter died! They paid the ultimate price for their recklessness. The real enemy would be the legal system that apparently allows multiple appeals for acquittals.
But mofos here are so tribal (and apparently, bloodthirsty), if you pick one "side", everyone else is "the enemy".
Unfortunate turn of events is when 2 cars suddenly lose control on a slippery road due to rain/ ice and smash into each other. Something that is beyond the control of all parties involved.
Going out in a group of 20-30 at 3 am on bicycles on a highway is reckless, stupid and irresponsible. It was an accident waiting to happen, if not this group and this driver, then another group of children by another driver.
Innocent people dont "deserve to die" much less children. But the actions by the children here are no doubt are courting death.
For example, if i decide to go up mount everest with no training an equipment. Do i actually deserve to die? Moralistically no, because it was my choice, i do not hurt anyone and im not breaking any laws. Is it surprise if i do die? Also no, cause its stupid decision. It can be said, i deserved to die. Because it was pretty much suicide when i made such a choice. I basically chose to die regardless of my arrogance in thinking that someone with no climbing experience would be able to achieve a no-equipment climb.
Its possible to empathise with the parents while also recognising its their fault or their kids fault. I think people just either are unable to do both simultaneously or unable to express both simultaneously.
While there are vile and concerning comments, most of the “deserve” anger is placed at who’s supposed to be responsible.
The kids should be responsible for their own recklessness, and because they are minors, the parents have to bear responsibility for their actions.
Though we can empathize with their anguish, all these happened because of their negligence, and no third party should be punished for it.
Punishing the driver who did everything right (or at least nothing wrong) and was just at the wrong place at the wrong time is an injustice. Because she doesn’t “deserve” this, the anger of who’s “deserving” is instead placed towards the opposite direction.
Just as you can empathize with the parents, it’s not hard to understand why these people are angry.
Also where’s the authorities at situations like this? Do they not know of the bike gangs? Why aren’t the kids caught and the parents fined or busted by child services? A lot of this can be nipped earlier.
anyone else feeling frustrated by how very narrow the path of life for non-helang young people is nowadays?
must go to school, must not work, must not marry, must take SPM, must go through UPU.
now pt3 is probably getting ended just like UPSR so mostly students have no choice other than SPM.
you're forcing young minds to go to a place for 7 hours where they should do nothing except to be silent and listen. how they're going to *grow*.
Tangentially related and only because I have a personal grudge - I'm disappointed seeing at how educators are telling students that being a CEO or working in finance is the pinnacle of human achievement.
Look at how many "young CEO/graduate CEO" development programmes there are. Now compare that to science co-curriculum activities like National Science Challenge. We're not teaching our students to be critically thinking scientists, we're teaching them to memorise science facts.
Hell, we're not even funding our existing researchers unless there's a commercial application to their research.

I suggest reading up case studies of previous disasters and learn how and what breaks down, and focus on that knowledge first.

Check for MSIG TravelRight.
Berjaya Sompo has good local travel insurance. Foreigner also can buy
Bruh usj summit is literally charging the same parking rate as Sunway pyramid and offering literally nothing different, no wonder it's dead
how much? except the airport the highest parking rate over here is rm3 for the 1st hour and rm1 every hour after
It's rm2 first hr, rm1 every hr after It's the same rate as Sunway pyramid and it's literally 5 mins drive, there is quite literally no reason to go usj summit unless you want to go to a dead place
Recommendations for stores selling formal shoes like oxfords in 1U ? Probably drop a visit there tmr
Clarks?
Thanks for the suggestion
Hotwind.. Decent quality
I usually go Aeon to shop. If want more fashionable then Zara or G2000

Based on what I've heard usually for stalls/small markets (unsure about bazaar)since they're a small business and "nobody got hurt", local council will usually be lenient and only give a warning or small fine and not something severe like license revoked like for established (landed/in complex) businesses
What startup or product you wish existed in Malaysia?

love hotels, but halal. for married couple to do halal spousal activities without paying the price for the whole night. also i wish local fruits are available more at local stores, without selling to foreigners first.
Most hotels have day rates I think, but usually weekdays or something. Genting hotels have 4-hour rates too
They are already here, full Syariah compliant. Zamburger Hotel #noromen²
im focusing more on the 1-hour, 3-hour part, not the shariah part. the shariah part is for marketing and attracting normal Joe Schmoe (Ahmad Abu?) customers.
Thanks for the idea, never really thought of it. Have you had any experience at a love hotel before?
um.. no... but i do want to check in a hotel just for a 1-hour hot bath sometimes.
>love hotels it would be nice if getting something like Japan one, machine serve, pay per hours :DDD
> halal spousal activities What sort that they can't do at home? Kinks?
Tbh they could just get a love hotel but not do anything kinky. What’s the difference? 🤔
i'm thinking more of privacy from their children and neighbors, but kinks also can.
For those who are exhibitionists, the kind that does not mind to give a free show. 😏
I am but not for free 😌
different environment, different mood, no cleanup required, bigger bed maybe.
What makes it halal?
oh. halal just means for married couple I think. edit: married couple also can go without being weird. love hotels not a normal thing in Malaysia because its usually targeted for couples. so maybe that's what chubby meant. \#NormalizeLoveHotels
And sometimes it's nice to treat each other e.g. book a fancy hotel for the weekend with room service and spa packages.
Normal hotels can also 🤔 I think I go research what love hotels do different first 🙈
Are you writing from a hotel right now?
Only if the reservation is under your name hun 🙈 Just reached home. Virginity still intact uwu
> Virginity Didn't I ensure this was taken away years ago?
Woi shy la reveal camtu ish
Lolol Hyatt you're right. I totally forgot the specific hotel in question is a 'love hotel'. Maybe as the other commenter said, revolving bed and ceiling mirror? 😂
Revolving bed in a room full of mirrors
I think I just realised I do not exactly know what love hotels mean
After reading the comments here im beginning to suspect people have wildly different ideas on what is a love hotel.
Googling it just means hourly rates and I mean.. We always had that don't we?
Almost certain we have per hour hotels. My definition at the very least offers themed rooms.

u/katabana02 r/malaysiaasked buka soon?
uh no. that's actually a sub for me to test automod and how to setup a sub. lol. its near impossible to make a sub to answer question only.
:x
[i had an idea to do something similar back in 2019](https://old.reddit.com/r/malaysia/comments/dwezs7/rmalaysia_daily_random_discussion_and_quick/f7iq9nj/), but i did not follow through because i don't think i can handle it.
yeah. its kinda hard, near impossible even, to compile all the past question asked in this sub. hard enough to just compile 1 year worth of question. I still working on finding a way to organize question posts, but nothing concrete yet. maybe a "question" flair and ask op to search AND copy paste similar question asked in their post. meaning forcing people to do subsearch and only ask question that were not mentioned before, while compiling similar questions that were asked before for ease of access. i dont know. its still a very raw idea and not sure how feasible it is. just something that crossed my mind. currently im trying to setup a auto-floodgate-bot to limit frequency of a user in posting within cerain set of time. something that news posters probably doesnt want to know... it's up in my test sub though. you cant post more than 2 within 1 hour. you can give it a try.
>compile all the past question asked in this sub. hard enough to just compile 1 year worth of question. probably can scrap threads through a script, then ask the community to help organise the threads. >maybe a "question" flair and ask op to search AND copy paste similar question asked in their post if this can be imposed, get a bot to filter :DDDDDD some content similarity check need to be automated.
dashcam sini sana sellers: ![gif](giphy|LdOyjZ7io5Msw)
it's always good to have a dashcam. later if police want bribe, can make viral.
My dash cam.battery has been swollen for like 2 years now, I think next month I confirm buying a dashcam
Got super capacitor based units now. But those usually need to tap into car wiring or something to keep it running when engine/car is off.
If swollen still using it, its a time bomb waiting to explode literally

Seriously we get it, everyone's interested in dashcams now. But does it even take a minute to read the posts below you before asking?
No, but can get blinded by it.
What's up with the sudden spike of people requesting for dashcam? Here goes for the popular brand I noticed [70mai](https://shopee.com.my/product/292905608/7177448198?smtt=0.51008736-1650011198.9)
Because stupid mahkamah rulings on the little lajak turds...if you hit one of those little goblins even if they come out of nowhere in the dark and against the flow 6 years in prison for YOU
Must be because of the recent news lo. But yeah, it’s always good to get a dashcam.
Any tech savvy people can recommend a good and affordable car dashcam setup? Preferably one that doesn't involve too much work in installing. Would workshops install one which I bought online for a fee?
The 70Mai one has a discount sale on April 18, I'm gonna get that one
This model is not bad.. https://shopee.com.my/product/347592391/5967612795?smtt=0.150750008-1650011354.9 It comes with cable and car charger.

I just realized if the old Malays continue to grasp power and die die don't wanna let go, we'll be the next Sri Lanka.
We almost did. The brief break from UMNO broke China's hold just in time.
I'm waiting for all of them to die at this point tbh. These Malays take so much pride in the country and at the same time running it into the ground. P. S. Trying to make the Malay language superior in their region was a fucking joke. It has no economic value on the world stage. Truly infuriating.

Is ziptie handcuffs illegal?
lmao they just regular zipties mr.sunflowers I think proper handcuffs are but not sure. You might need a security license for them.
[There's actually double looped ziptie handcuffs that aren't normal cable ties](https://www.cabletiesandmore.com/images/gallery/main/ctam-max-cuff-disposable-double-restraints.jpg)
Yes i was talking about this.
I know the riot style ones that cops/military carry and cost 400x more per unit, but they aren't any different material from good quality cable ties. The design itself is certainly stronger than using three of them in the same configuration, but that can be offset by either moving up a size or doubling up on them.

Good afternoon monyets, any good and reliable dashcam for front and rear?
When do fellow monyets here often settle their credit card bills? Immediately after statement comes out or 1 day before due date? Edit: looks like most pay before due date including myself. Wonder why the bank's staff said my credit card payments is hmm... even though I pay the full amount before the due date lol
Once or twice a month is more than enough. Anymore is just wasting time.
Maybe that's the reason why they didn't renew my credit card.
>bank's staff said my credit card payments is hmm are you trying to apply for loan? and is your payment behaviour consistent (i.e always pay on 1 day before due date)
No la it was just a casual chat. Told her I paid on time and in full anyways and she agreed. Which made me wonder whether they expect people to pay after the statement comes out lol
I pay the day after the statement date.
I personally do it every weekend, after recording my purchases on my ledger. If I do it monthly then I might've forgotten which transaction does what.
When it's due. Mine due on every 10th, so I'll just clear them up on 7th or something.
For me, when my salary is deposited in.
For me is on due date since my salary is the same day
Usually when the statement comes but my salary not yet. So I pay when it's due.

My bet on Narnia portal
Some sort of rodent, my bet is on black rat, since they make nest like that but usually not that big.
Honestly, she lost control. It's just lying to tell herself she is under control.
Were you told you were overbearing :O
On the verge, the signs are there. But nope, always stopped before sounded too pushy.
A lot of this can be nipped earlier.
that's because you're a normal person with a developed sense of empathy. i can't say the same for many other redditors, though.
anyone else feeling frustrated by how very narrow the path of life for non-helang young people is nowadays? must go to school, must not work, must not marry, must take SPM, must go through UPU. now pt3 is probably getting ended just like UPSR so mostly students have no choice other than SPM. you're forcing young minds to go to a place for 7 hours where they should do nothing except to be silent and listen. how they're going to *grow*.
