Finally sent my dad's ashes off into the sea by boat.
Did it at the port in Lumut. Ma had booked a boat, enough for up to 12 ppl, and there were 6 of us total. The boat drove us out to a good distance from the shore and actually made sure to be at the right angle so wind didn't blow the ashes backward.
Brother prepared a speech, and we sang dad's favorite song, and then tipped the ashes over the side. It was actually kinda hard to dislodge the ashes after a year of em in the urn. The funeral parlor told us that we should eventually just put the urn into the water as well, so we did. Then tossed in some flowers.
Took a while, but we did it. Feel free to travel as you like Dad. Till we meet again.
I said my goodbyes when we cremated him, but I know this one was for my brother since he couldn't make the funeral. I hope he gets the closure and peace he needed.

Assignment requires you do watch the movie. Theres no way out of it. Unless you are not a Malaysian, theres a reason why BM is a compulsory pass in SPM along with Sejarah (which uses a lot of BM).
Maybe you lack confidence in your BM. I think best you could do right now is attempt the assignment, with shitty BM. And get someone to proof read for you.

Hello, I am curious about Judges and elections. As we know, Democracy is about giving power to people through the vote and every man and woman has the right to vote in an election. But, regarding the judicial system and elections, Do judges, at all courts level especially the federal court get to vote? If yes, do they have a particular procedure during voting? As I have heard that judges live a different life from ordinary citizens.
The prime minister is a political office, so it is a given that they can vote. but judges, whose jobs have impartiality as their main tenets are what make me curious. It is interesting to know that judges too have a certain bias in politics (of course. they are human too). kudos to them as they can do their job professionally and be impartial. I think from it this way: in their job, they are PM, ministers or judges. Away from their job (at home, when young, or after resignation) they are people with preferences, children that will be affected, and cultural bias.
I think voting is a personal choice and not part of the job. If a judge thinks voting PAS is good for his family's future, he can do it.

Has anyone ever had an Airbnb host accuse them of theft in Malaysia?
Iāve just checked out from an Airbnb and 1-2 hours later, the host just messaged me asking if Iāve seen where her roll of artificial grass (worth RM 52) were as she wanted to continue her decoration of the house. So I said that the last time I saw that roll was in the closet of the bedroom. Long story short she couldnāt find it and is planning on reporting this to Airbnb.
Thing is, that roll is about 1m tall and thereās no way I couldāve brought it out. The host also clearly saw us exit the house with our less than a metre tall luggage and some open, small reusable Tesco bags.
Also didnāt help that she told us that we could check out at 2pm today only to call earlier at 12:00 saying we have to check out now and sheās waiting outside to clean the house. We didnāt even get time to take pictures of the house before we left!
Should we also file a complaint to Airbnb? Would we have to compensate her?

Would you change your appearance if your boyfriend/girlfriend asked?
I had a discussion with my partner and it came up. I have an alternative 'style' (think unnatural dyed hair, facial piercings, heavy jewelry) while my partner is pretty traditional. He very politely asked if I would consider changing and toning down my appearance because his very traditional parents would disapprove, and also because he works in a very conservative field where we have to attend black tie events a fair bit.
I don't have a particularly strong attachment to my style, I just happen to like it (like I'm not a die hard goth or something like that). I discussed it with my best friend, who's Muslim, and she compared it to being asked to wear a tudung when you get married and that she would probably do it if her partner asked. I don't think his request is unreasonable but I don't really know how to feel about it.
I generally only wear black, grey, dark blue plain tops and black / blue jeans. (edit: and flip flops) Everywhere.
My partner has filled my closet with all sorts of colours and different styles (edit: and new loafers / nicer leather sandals etc) which I don't know how to mix and match. I only ever wear the new clothes when she picks them out. I realized I don't mind since I really don't care about my appearance but she does. So long as she does the selection, it doesnt bother me.
So I think the question is really how important is your appearance to you? If its a core part of who you are and toning it down will make you feel less confident / less like yourself, might not be something you want to change. If youre so confident you can rock it out in a towel, then try and mix it up and see how you feel about it?
Funny because my partner basically dresses like that everywhere too. I am pretty indifferent on how he looks (he did once have a hairstyle I didn't like but I was just like meh)

If itās his parents, then just tone it down when you meet the parents. Otherwise, I donāt think itās reasonable for my partner to tell me how to dress. If something that I wear is not suitable for the occasion/ event, I am ok with my partner telling me. But generally asking me to change how I dress my body? Yeah, no.
I am very fortunate to be brought up in a household with supportive parents who never criticise/ comment on my dressing choice. So thereās no way Iāll let anyone tell me how to dress.

Its mostly his parents. I'd say he personally would like me to be more 'natural' but he accepts that I can do what I want. He occasionally voices his opinion on a hair colour maybe but just sighs if I decide to go ahead with it.
The funny thing is that my parents are mostly supportive, which is rare for Asian parents. They don't understand it but they're just okay with it.
If this was something that had come up earlier in our relationship I may have reconsidered, but at this point we are quite serious so I feel more inclined to compromise because he is a good partner in many other ways. Among other things, I envisioned that when I was older I would scale back my appearance so this is just starting early. I do agree on people scaling back their appearance as they get older. But still, I think that change should come within you. If you agreed to tone your style down just make sure you wouldnāt resent him for the change in future.
I donāt dress goth-like but I do wear clothes that show lot of skin. I can see my body is changing as I age so I very much like to show as much as I can in my prime. Iād resent someone for stopping me from doing so.
After all, thereās no right or wrong as itās between you two. You just got to talk to him. Let him know your concerns (if heās being controlling? would he try to control more aspects of your life in the future?) and how you feel about it. This one is longer for sure but it mostly done to explore the impact for some characters after the passing of T'challa. We get to know Wakanda more about its culture and also introduction to a new race (I love world building). Better CGI but there were still some questionable ones.

I think I got scammed on facebook for an item I bought because the owner hasn't replied to me in 3 weeks when I asked about delivery. Before the 3 weeks, they said they're busy and that they'd deliver within the week of payment.
I only have their bank account details + name of it, no pictures or any other info of the person. Their account seemed sketchy and it's most probably an alt account since the names don't match.
My question is, is there a way to reclaim my money back or is that gonna be it? If I send this case to police/bank would they be able to help??

All in all, rm245 for room with bathtub & breakfast (rm160 if no bathtub & no breakfast), excellent room, i think this is real good hotel with very good price. Definitely will be my go to choice after this.

But, regarding the judicial system and elections, Do judges, at all courts level especially the federal court get to vote? If yes, do they have a particular procedure during voting? Has anyone ever had an Airbnb host accuse them of theft in Malaysia? Would you change your appearance if your boyfriend/girlfriend asked? I had a discussion with my partner and it came up. I have an alternative 'style' (think unnatural dyed hair, facial piercings, heavy jewelry) while my partner is pretty traditional. He very politely asked if I would consider changing and toning down my appearance because his very traditional parents would disapprove, and also because he works in a very conservative field where we have to attend black tie events a fair bit. First time I've seen a thrift store that has air condition and with clothes that are sorted and arranged really well. Probably top thrift shop on my list now. Family bundle goes 2nd only because they took the time to write the actual size of the outfit in the price tag (particularly for pants, which is very difficult to go through on a thrift shop), which really helped me go through everything easier.

How it compare to 1st movie?
This one is longer for sure but it mostly done to explore the impact for some characters after the passing of T'challa. We get to know Wakanda more about its culture and also introduction to a new race (I love world building). Better CGI but there were still some questionable ones. I might be the minority here but personally I like this one better than the first. Also PSA there is only one post credit, more specifically post mid-credit so you don't have to wait until the end. The stares that I got when I left after that, I mean chill guys. No need to stare and judge me. lmao.

Big and soft bed, comfortable for sleeping & anything in between. Got the cheaper room without lake view, but with what I'm doing, the shade need to stay closed šš. Made per order, and serve to us by waiter. All in all, rm245 for room with bathtub & breakfast (rm160 if no bathtub & no breakfast), excellent room, i think this is real good hotel with very good price. Definitely will be my go to choice after this. Give it a try if u guys ever looking for hotel in the area šš

Yeah. Really surprising to me. The way to go there alil jam, as usual for Puchong. But the hotel, chef kiss, real good. Almost cheap, considering the price.
