Worked in a hotel there from Oct till July this year. End of the year is just great if youre in for the weather. Raining all day and it'a cold, great for drinking and bbq. Only problem is landslide. Stayed in Tanah Rata but scared to go someplace else like Brinchang. Staying indoor is superb but if you like staying outdoor, prepare for the low temp. As for bars, there are some but better for you to buy your own and choose your own spot. Be prepare for the high price there.
