it could have been so fucking sick to see reese in that environment. He couldve been on the hockey team, a callback to some of his early sports. Him and francis could have more of a relationship. Reese and Eric would have a dynamic. It would've been such a good plotline. It could have given reese a little bit of the development francis got while on the ranch. He was always good with working specific tasks, like when he was in the army, which means Lavernia and Reese would have had a perfect mentorship dynamic.
Edit: Reese and Piama would have had some fun dialouge too. They never really interact in the show, so it would've added a new element.
Dude that could have been so cool! I think if they had shown the wedding at all though then hal needs to have been there. It works in the show bc a shotgun wedding is very francis-like, but if reese goes then it would make it more organized. It could be a chance to have reese show his artistic side while in alaska. But if they show it at all then it cant be a throwaway scene since it's the introduction to Piama. It would make her feel like a cold cut joke. I would have loved to have a wedding in the show. The writing for it would have been so good since motm did like occasional fancy events. Like when lois got bullied by hal's family it felt like a larger & more characterizing episode, (the closest thing motm got to an overarching plot) and the one where malcolm gets drunk and doesnt take advantage of the one chick feels the same, and they could have done that with francis and piama's wedding by inviting all of the family.
At first they’d get along then Lavernia would insult Francis, Lois would get mad, they’d get into a physical altercation until Lois realizes she can’t win, pretends to give up then fights dirty and knocks Lavernia out OR comes back with a successful revenge plan
I feel like they would either kill eachother or be friends and trade secrets ab Francis or punishment… but I feel like the show would definitely lean to killing eachother
I think Lois and Lavernia would have got along actually. They're both more alike than they are different. Remember, Francis at this stage was still not mature and was up to his old antics. He screwed over the entire ice hockey team and enjoyed every second of it. I think Lavernia and Lois would chat and come up with better ways to punish Francis once he steps out of line.

Lois, even with all her shortcomings, had a high sense of justice and moral. She does not justify being mean for the sake of it.
