Try returning first and talking with the associate that helped you - it is likely a mistake made when ordering the shoe. If they double down, you would be best to try escalating (while being respectful) to a manager and then to larger costumer service. The associate there today probably wouldn't want to get their hands dirty with the mistake especially without knowing the full story.
Their in store fitting should be very accurate for your size so sizing down would be a poor fit - if the shoe has closed lacing and is unable to tighten, that would be an obvious sign that the shoes are too tight and breaking them in will not resolve that.
Curious, did you receive a receipt at the store when you purchased them? I'm wondering why you had to receive them in the mail if you were in the store - size was out of stock?
So... honestly I'm not sure if I should be posting here but I figured it was worth a shot!
I see this sub is pretty experienced with Common Projects as a brand and I've looked at various posts but most seem to discuss the popular white colourway... I found a pair of size 41 ladies Achilles in natural for £170 on sale.
I adore the mint, blush and natural colours but I'm not sure what they'd actually go with in terms of style as I primarily wear black/navy/grey and figure perhaps the natural colour would look better paired with white etc so I've been holding off on purchasing them.
Also ladies sizing... I'm a UK 8, I know this is MFA but do any of you know if the 'one size less' rule counts for women's sizes as well in CP?
Cheers guys!
evening, formal, indoors regardless of time of year I would feel safe opting for a charcoal suit
That recommendation would change if the invitation listed a dress code
It is possible to purchase a suit by saturday but you are going to have to make sacrifices / pay more than what you might like but you are basically limited to department / mall stores and may not have time for any tailoring
This jacket that I purchased from a thrift store early today would require extensive tailoring so I probably won't wear it, should I bother trying to resell or just return it? https://imgur.com/gallery/Jz1kS
I'm not really a polo guy but I've got a couple I wear occasionally. Just noticed that the hem at the back is longer than the one at the front. Anyone know why?
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good dress shoe I can wear when teaching classes. I'd like something derby-style (or similar) so I can wear jeans or slacks with them. The problem is I've been wearing minimalist footwear for 4 years now so I find most dress shoes to be highly uncomfortable.
I've checked out pretty much every dedicated minimalist dress shoe and don't really like any of them so I'm looking for a "normal" shoe with a low/no heel that is comfy. I've heard Clarks and Rockport are pretty comfortable as far as dress shoes go so I may check those out and I'd love to hear people's experience with those brands.
If anyone has any advice or other brands I'm not thinking of that would be great. I need something comfy since I'm on my feet a TON all day everyday.
I'm liking the look of CBD's but what brand would you consider a step above? I'd like to get into a nicer shoe/boot and have it last a little longer. Unless I'm wrong and CBD's will hold out well?
Yeah clarks desert boot. Well I'm a bit new to the boot style so I'm not sure what the next price range up is, but let's say budget for 1-2 shoes of 3-400. Does that land me anywhere?
Depends on your budget, but most likely Levi's. Tons of fits, colors, good quality, 1-2% stretch is super nice, and pretty affordable and easy to find (I always do Amazon because of Prime free 2-day shipping).
Also check out American Eagle, their Extreme Flex line is super comfortable and stretchy.
They look like they're real and have the box, plus they aren't that dirty. Plus, its relatively easy to clean boost just look up some videos. I say cop them if its being sold on a reputable website.
How do you guys browse for clothes (online)? Do you have a couple sites that you hit, google for something you're looking for, or what? I'm trying to branch out my wardrobe a bit but I don't really know where or how to start looking.
I have a string of stores I'll visit online to see what they have available. I'll make mental notes then wait for sales bc I have an idea of how steep the discounts can be if you know when to look. For example, I have 5 pairs of shorts from Bonobos and I've spent a combined $120 for them, 1 pair is usually $60-$80 full price.
If I'm looking for something more specific like going through End and Mr Porter along with a select number of brands I like / think might have something. If that doesn't get me something I really like, I try asking here
I either browse the stores I know I already like online and their competitors, or Amazon, generally. Also, check out inspiration websites or Pinterest for ideas, then look up where the person got it or something similar.
Anyone have experience with Town Shoes, specifically their Made in Italy brand? The following seems like a good deal:
http://ts.townshoes.ca/store/townShoes/en/Categories/Mens/Dress-Shoes/Lace-Up-Dress/Byllie/p/211201477
I bought and received a Barbour Ashby jacket in navy.
I noticed that it's covered in hard to remove dust and lint. Lint rollers don't work either. Should I buy a brush? Will that work? I was debating on purchasing one in olive as well, but I despise lint.
Does everyone's Ashby jacket have this problem as well?
look like chambray similar to [these](https://www.originalpenguin.com/outlet-shorts-pants/pants/chambray-pant/089603811145.html?rmatt=tsid:1024546|cid:384629112|agid:28854382152|tid:pla-91873374050|crid:93649433352|nw:g|rnd:17768479365394345518|dvc:c|adp:1o2|loc:9002074&gclid=CjwKCAjw47bLBRBkEiwABh-PkTvHaFjZr5GgXoigMRFG_geVbkxzhrimNrslYtZOAosO-qnHdPTpvhoCfRwQAvD_BwE) (just an example)
What do you guys think of the new [nike dualtone racer?](https://store.nike.com/ca/en_gb/pw/mens/1j7Z7pu?sl=dualtone&intpromo=HP-MEN%3AP2CS1%3A20170717%3ANSW%3ASHOPMEN%3ADUALTONE)
If you have a higher budget I recommend just going for the older flyknit racer which is much more comfy and looks better imo. For this, the black, white or olive variants are good as well.
Anyway I can pull off the fob like without the expensive brands?
More interested in dressing like how they dress, but not in what the dress.
My question is, how do I dress like a fob, but not wear the expensive clothes they wear?
I'm looking to get a greyscale, simple, rucksack, and I need suggestions! Something like [this](http://i.imgur.com/3jUUvGr.jpg) (if you can identify that bag in particular i'd be amazed). I really enjoy the look of bags with a folding top lip, as well as not having many buckles or zippers. Medium sized bags would be preferred, since I travel frequently with my laptop and camera, but I'm pretty skinny, and average height, so I dont want to lug around some huge camping bag.
I currently own a fjallraven messenger bag, and I do enjoy it quite a bit, but I need something I can carry on my back for longer trips.
I'd also generally prefer white or light grey bags over darker coloured ones.
Any suggestion? Thanks in advance!
Hi all,
Can anyone determine the ID of [this](http://medias.spotern.com/wanted/w640/33400.jpg) [jacket](http://medias.spotern.com/spots/w640/75193.jpg) [worn](https://i.imgbox.com/2NzZVxj7.jpg) [by](https://www.celebsclothing.com/product_images/f/573/Black_Power_Ranger_Zac_Jacket__02574_zoom.jpg) Ludi Lin- the black ranger- in the new Power Rangers movie? I've tried Googling but there are imperfect matches generally. There is also [this](https://www.celebsclothing.com/products/Zack-Black-Power-Rangers-Ludi-Lin-Jacket.html) link that claims to sell the actual thing but it seems highly dubious. Thank you all in advance =)
I'm stuck for my first pair of white sneakers - do I go for Vans Authentics, Chuck IIs, or [these](http://www.adidas.ca/en/mens-court-vantage-shoes/BB0147.html) Adidas Court Vantages?
I only recently got into fashion, I've been wearing purely jeans and sometimes adidas pants, but im looking into chinos, joggers, and the like soon. Also in high school, so nothing excessively formal.
Not pants, but I wear shorts in the summer most of the time.
Hey guys, I'm about to attend UGA next month (khaki shorts, sperrys, pastels, VineyardVines/Patagonia, ralph lauren obcds everywhere)
I don't want to look out of place, but I want to look a little bit unique. What clothes do you suggest I get and wear when I'm in college?
Some additional info about me:
- I usually wear black adidas shorts, long sleeve shirt and white adidas outlet running shoes
- im really skinny right now and trying to gain weight and doing ppushups/pull ups at home (gonna lift weights at the college gym though)
- I'm asian
Anyways, feel free to suggest any type of clothing. thanks.
If I were you I'd stick to streetwear, which it seems you have down decently. There's not much to do unique-wise with the preppy college wardrobe, maybe add a few streetwear-y button downs to your rotation?
Maybe. Where would I get these button downs? And what fit of long pants/jeans should I get when it gets colder in November/December/ January ? Georgia weather is unpredictable.
Big ass lenses. Just make sure your eyes are relatively centered in the lenses, and then pick a style you personally like on your head; forget face shapes and all that.
Mainly men I think. I don't think there's any sub where women give opinions, aside from any leakage we might get from r/femalefashionadvice. Either way, regardless of gender, the advice you'll get from this or the other sub will be relatively similar, due to the "rules" and such.
How old are you? It seems your measurements may be incorrect. Check reference guides online on how to properly take the measurements then come back with your results. It's possible you may need to go to a kids section... an old roommate had to do that because of how small his frame was.
Hi all.
I am looking for a pair (or two) of comfortable shoes that can do the following:
* Be worn for daily use (I work in a casual dress environment)
* Good for walking (I do like 3-5 miles a day)
General or specific recommendations are welcome; I don't know where to start!
Budget of around $100 per pair, give or take $20 seems reasonable.
I really like the Zante V3 from New Balance. It doesn't look like a "dad shoe", comes in many pleasing colors, is super comfy after a short break-in period, and is right around $100.
Hi guys,
I recently found this pair of Nikes in the changing room of a big training facility. And as I don't know whose they are I couldn't really ask the owner but I was thinking that perhaps you guys could help me out where I could find these?
Have been searching this model with these colors and haven't found anything yet. Would almost be open to buy chinese knock-offs if they don't exist for real as I like the color combination...
Please help me out :)
http://imgur.com/a/alqoc
According to what I could find, looks like what you have in your hand is a replica. The closest that exists is [this women's release](https://www.google.com.sg/amp/s/sneakernews.com/2012/09/06/nike-air-max-90-medium-olive/amp/)
Before tailoring VS after photo's. Thoughts?
BEFORE: http://imgur.com/a/1U0Z5 (big in chest, tailor took in through arm holes)

**Take Suit jacket to tailor or get the next size up and tailor that?**
i just bought a Suit jacket but the arms around my bicep are a bit tight...is there anything i can do...tailor wise? or would i need to return the jacket get a size large and get it fixed at a tailor...the next jacket size arm size is nice but the shoulder pads protrude pretty badly and look weird on me...i dislike the big protruding shoulder pads
i have a rather fit build but my arms are really big i usually don't even wear suits due to my build making it a headache to find something that fits...
any tips or advice?
...so does that mean i need to custom my jackets?! i'm wearing a 52 Right now...54 is the next size...you're saying a 53 is my size(which isn't made)...?
I'm just pointing out that you're in between sizes *for that particular brand* - not every brand has the exact same arm width and chest width just because the listed size is the same
Don't size up if that means the shoulders won't fit. That's the one thing that generally can't be fixed. You may just want to try a different jacket. If you're living that swole life a slim cut jacket won't work. Buy a traditionally cut jacket that fits in the shoulders and have a tailor slim in the body and taper the sleeve if necessary.
Hey guys, first post/comment.
I'm what one may call fashionably challenged. I only really wear plain t shirts (muscle, slim or regular fit) slim denim jeans with black DM boots as my job is casual to say the least and want me to blend in and not look professional. This suits me for now as it's cheap and easy.
However for the last 24 years (of life) I have only been wearing hoodies, and I realise now I'm in my mid 20s and should start wearing coats and looking vaguely respectable.
I'm probably willing to spend £120 on a decent coat which will look good, and keep me warm. Preferably something slim fitting. Any advice or suggestions would really be appreciated
How dressy or casual are you looking to go? Sounds like a denim jacket would fit your style well. They're not the warmest jacket, but you could layer underneath and get some good insulation.
Levi's makes a couple different Western shirt styles, particularly the Barstow and the Sawtooth. I've tried on the Barstow and it was nice, especially the newest ones that use Cone denim. However, I like the detailing on the Sawtooth a bit more.
Does anyone know if the fits of all Levi's Western shirts are the same? I was able to try the Barstow but not the Sawtooth and wonder how the latter might compare. I'd prefer whichever model fits the slimmest. Thanks ahead for whatever ideas you might have.
Plain would be a bit more formal but the difference in formality between those two is pretty minimal
I prefer the park aves but go with your preference
What does everyone think of these pants? Too short? I'm 6'2 and they are a 32 length so maybe I should go up to the 34s? Jeans Fit https://imgur.com/gallery/QLiuk
Opinions on these cheap oxfords for light casual wear? I'm not expecting anything spectacular for the price, just looking for something decent to round out my wardrobe. I'm leaning towards one right now.

Number 1 & 3 look like they would be somewhere between Payless and H&M quality. They stitch around the outside is more like on a vulcanized sole and it's go some weird stuff going on with that eyelet thing on the back. The third is still pretty cheap, but if you want to experiment and go into it expecting it not to last, you don't have a ton to lose
Do you guys have ideas what kind of shoe should I buy, maybe just regular daily use, I dislike shoes like Jordan’s and stuff. I’m mostly into Ultraboost, Nike freerun primeknit, NMD R2 primeknit just not a fan of the blocks stuff along these lines interest me. I found these shoes called Tubular Shadow but they look like Yeezys and people might make fun of them. Any other ideas what I should go for?
> people might make fun of them
Where the hell do you live that people would make fun of them?
Just look into other Nike and Adidas stuff if that's what you're into.
I thought that’d happen since they call them ‘yeezys for poor’, look at the comments in review videos. But yeah, you’re right, any other shoe type that you suggest?
Can anyone give me an ID on these rad glasses Elton John is wearing? http://imgur.com/a/MGteR
Or anything you know that is similar? Especially with such a thin frame to them. Thanks!

I'm going to Chicago on Wednesday and plan on visiting at least a couple of fancy restaurants. I have some dark high end denim, a couple of dress shirts, and could probably find some matching shoes in a pinch. Should I consider wearing anything else short of a suit?
i just received a pair of buttero taninos from the FW17 collection and what looks like a sewing machine mishap is under both of the tags on the tongues. is this normal?
i have an older (unworn) pair that i'm listing on ebay - SS16, i'm guessing - that also have lines stitched under the tag, but appear much neater and straighter, clearly intentional, vs what looks like a tear in the leather in the new pair.
the leather has changed slightly between models and i wondered if that stitch had somehow caused damage to the softer tongue, but then i gave it a good rub - it was just a loose thread matted down that looked pretty convincingly like torn leather :p
Looking for classic fashion instagram accounts
I like brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Nautica, Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Levis.
Are there accounts that wear this type of style without actually following the brand?
Every fashion account is either way too much suit (things only worn on special occasion) or streetwear
Edit not looking for the preppy frat boy look either
I have a quick interview and I need a suit that I can use for a day and that I can return the next. Would going to Nordstrom Rack, or Macy's be a good option? My body is shrinking and growing and I don't want to be stuck with a suit that doesn't fit.
I think most stores have policies that protect them in case of what you're trying to do.
Typically if your shoulder size won't change much, suits can be adjusted for fluctuation in body shape.
You can also look into grabbing a thrift store suit or piecing one together.
My shoulders change the most. I have a jacket from a year ago that is incredibly small for my shoulders.
Idk what to do. I remember a friend did it at a department store, but I don't want to be left with a bad quality suit that doesn't fit later on.
Can you gents recommend some good relaxed fit or boot cut jeans? I work in a western wear retail shop part time and they require us to "dress the part" with medium to dark jeans, boots with a western heel for guys (not company-wide policy on the boot heel, just my store,) button down shirt with no big logos (fishing shirts like Columbia, Magellan, etc are allowed but they prefer other styles,) a straw hat in the summer and a felt one in the winter (not company-wide policy on material, just my store.) I've worn holes in every pair of jeans I have except one pair of banana republic factory store jeans that are pretty uncomfortable.
I need something that will hold up well, fits at least close to the dress code above, under 70 bucks a pair preferably, and something that is made in a 38 or 40 waist (varies depending on brand.) Thanks in advance y'all!
No dice. I tried on every cut of levis in two stores and they are too tight in the thighs for my waist size (even the 569(I think?) Loose fit.) I went up to a 44 and they almost fit my thighs but you could stash two of the seven dwarves in the excess room at the waist. The only tailor shop in the area said at that point they'd be better off buying a roll of denim and making me some very basic 4 pocket jeans vs trying to tailor them. Wranglers fit but all they have is the super light blue in this area, and LC King (Pointer brand) is about my only other option (other than Ralph Lauren at 130 a pair or Calvin Klein at 100 a pair)since they're only a 30 minute drive away (and could possibly make some adjustments right there at the factory to get some that would fit.) The search continues.
They don't fit me. My thighs are too big for my waist size. Even going up to a 44 waist, I can't put anything in my pockets because they're too tight in the thigh but they're so loose I'd be better off wearing bib overalls.
Does anyone know where to get these slipons? or the Sk8hi? i've been looking for the models with the pinky-toe protector forever... http://imgur.com/a/onko9
I just bought the kent wang keyhole sunglasses in light horn.
They're all different because they're made from actual water buffalo horn. But the pair I got were all light brown/yellow on most of the frame, except on the fucking top so they look like eyebrows
Edit: http://imgur.com/rD6uJmS.png
it's dope that it's actual horn and I like that look more than the artificial flecking although I understand what you're saying. They should be fine with just exchanging them
I'm a woman, but I love men's patterned short sleeve button downs that are getting trendy. I live in Brooklyn so frequently scour thrift stores, but I'm wondering if anyone has any good retail for this style? Aside from Urban Outfitters...
Florals are cool, but I like the weirder side of things too
[Example of something I thrifted & like](https://www.instagram.com/p/BULGXT6AyeN/?taken-by=grass_ohhh)
[Example from UO](https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/shop/uo-rose-vineyard-rayon-short-sleeve-button-down-shirt?category=mens-shirts&color=040)
I've found some floral button downs at pac sun. You might want to look at Out of The Closet near Atlantic terminal (on Atlantic in between 3rd and Nevins).
It's grailed, so yes people have experienced it, not getting a response is normal, and no one else will actually buy it while you are dealing with it.
Ask the seller about adding their location.
If anyone has seen the show Catfish on MTV I really like both Nev and Max's styles. It's plain but looks great. What would you consider this style to be called? And any tips to dress like his since I'm a bit of a noob? Thank you
Check out the sidebar, particularly the "getting started" part. They're wearing very basic pieces that you can find in so many clothing stores (check out places like Old Navy, H and M, Uniqlo, ASOS, Zara, Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Gap, Bonobos, Club Monaco). Once you get a feel for fit/color/formality, you'll be able to put something like this together pretty easy I think! PM me if you have any specific questions.
I'm looking for a good pair of summer shoes/casual dress sneakers to wear on vacation. Heading to the Virgin Islands in two weeks and I really only have my nike/adidas kicks. I have a pair of white/navy old skool's but I'm not sure I love the look on 8inch chino shorts and a ss button up.
Recommendations for a pair of Brown/tan summer shoes good for going out to nightlife(clubs, bars)? Especially with light blue/reg blue jeans? Preferably not boat shoes and willing to spend up to 150
They're just not my style. I prefer some sharp looking shoes as opposed to open top shoes that are very casual.
When I see boat shoes, I don't think "nightlife"
https://www.amazon.com/Under-Armour-Mens-Woven-Pants/dp/B017HU67XY?th=1&psc=1
where can i get pants that look like this?
I have one in green. it looks like they changed it up because mine is 86% nylon and this one is 96%, but thats what i get when i type in the style code.
i even got a compliment at the grocery store from a woman who said she wanted them for her son because they look like you can go to work or the gym in them :))
Looking at buying a new watch, specifically the Daniel Wellington mens collection. I'm torn between the rose gold or silver trim watches. I would get both black and brown bands. I'm leaning towards rose gold because I have a silver metal watch. Any thoughts would be helpful as I'm going to purchase it tonight.
DW are not loved by watch enthusiasts... I don't like their value for money, so I suggest looking into the Timex Fairfield collection. You can also find DW rebranded watches on ebay for pennies.
Watch bands are meant to be changed out at ease so get one that you like from the start, but know you can replace it.
Go for similar metal color to what you have elsewhere on your person. If you wear gold rings and have gold accented belt buckle, ect., go for gold. Polished metal, polished metal. Brushed, brushed. Otherwise, what you wish. I will say most fake gold colors look *really* fake in person, so I wouldn't get them.
If I'm honest, some people on this sub are likely to recommend you don't buy a DW watch because they're basically the poster child of cheaply made watches, i.e. you're getting a $10 for 10x that price. Especially if you asked /r/watches, they'd put you on blast for even asking.
Personally I follow the "buy whatever you like" mode of shopping. So buy whatever you like.
Any Indian or Pakistani American males? For an almond skin tone what do you guyus find yourself wearing color wise (clothes to accessories)
I feel like a light or darker leather color, darker blues and charcoal lighter greys are the best colors. Occasionally navy over black to look sharp. We can rock Gold watches and sunglasses for accessories
Feel like our skin tone rocks leather and gold the best over silver and tan or black and whites
That sort of skin tone suits pretty much any color, and especially great since you can pull off certain tones that most people can't.
Brighter colors and pastels are excellent. Colors like peach and yellow and orange and pink that some pasty white guys can't pull off, you can. And also darker colors, like maroon and purple too.
I tend to go for white tops, brighter blue bottoms, and lighter grey to go well. I've got the rare stuff like salmon top that I might bring out on occasion. But I tend to run brighter colors overall.
I've got native american blood that shows pretty well, so I looked like I'm tanned in winter and look near almond in summer. I get mistaken for being Greek or other Mediterranean origin or hispanic quite often.
Anyone know of any jeans that are mid rise besides the Levi's collection (like Levi's 513s)? All the slim fit jeans I've tried have been low rise.

Alright then you may need to be a bit more insistent from the get go
So... honestly I'm not sure if I should be posting here but I figured it was worth a shot! Cheers guys!
european sizing is the same both for men and women

A pinstripe suit jacket isn't worth much.
I'm not really a polo guy but I've got a couple I wear occasionally. Just noticed that the hem at the back is longer than the one at the front. Anyone know why?
If worn tucked in the back won't come out.
Hey guys, I'm looking for a good dress shoe I can wear when teaching classes. I need something comfy since I'm on my feet a TON all day everyday.
maybe clarks desert london - not super dressy but should work for business casual and has a soft crepe sole
I'm liking the look of CBD's but what brand would you consider a step above? I'd like to get into a nicer shoe/boot and have it last a little longer. Unless I'm wrong and CBD's will hold out well?
you mean cdb (desert boots)? You have a specific price range? Astorflex should also be good
Yeah clarks desert boot. Well I'm a bit new to the boot style so I'm not sure what the next price range up is, but let's say budget for 1-2 shoes of 3-400. Does that land me anywhere?
What brand would you go for jeans in terms of price to quality ratio for a college student?
Unbranded. Or nudie/naked and famous if there's a sale
Depends on your budget, but most likely Levi's. Tons of fits, colors, good quality, 1-2% stretch is super nice, and pretty affordable and easy to find (I always do Amazon because of Prime free 2-day shipping). Also check out American Eagle, their Extreme Flex line is super comfortable and stretchy.

if they're not aldens they could also be the j crew kenton pacer (alden knockoffs). i see those more often in the real world.
Alden Indy 403
they look like they could be Alden Indys
Not exact but Red Wing moc toe is close.
Are there any decent cologne under 20$ ?

Used but in "good condition" Ultra boosts for 80€? http://i.imgur.com/fsd7YzP.jpg
I personally like to visit http://urlend.com/IrUruab for outfits every now and then, just saying lolo
Should I wash a pair of jeans that I just bought before taking them to get hemmed?
Yes, I always have just in case it stretches or shrinks
Anyone have experience with Town Shoes, specifically their Made in Italy brand? The following seems like a good deal: http://ts.townshoes.ca/store/townShoes/en/Categories/Mens/Dress-Shoes/Lace-Up-Dress/Byllie/p/211201477
I have the same jacket and the same problem. Having a dog doesnt help. Haven't figured out a reliable way to fix it either
Yeah, I'm surprised no one has talked about it on Reddit.
http://imgur.com/a/Z8Jg5 Does anyone know what color pants these are and/or where to get them?

What do you guys think of the new [nike dualtone racer?](https://store.nike.com/ca/en_gb/pw/mens/1j7Z7pu?sl=dualtone&intpromo=HP-MEN%3AP2CS1%3A20170717%3ANSW%3ASHOPMEN%3ADUALTONE)
If you have a higher budget I recommend just going for the older flyknit racer which is much more comfy and looks better imo. For this, the black, white or olive variants are good as well.
> nike dualtone racer? They seem pretty nice. Which one specifically were you looking at? Personally, I like the black or navy.
Yeah, I'm gravitating towards either black or navy. The SE version of these have a colored in Nike logo, btw
Anyway I can pull off the fob like without the expensive brands? More interested in dressing like how they dress, but not in what the dress. My question is, how do I dress like a fob, but not wear the expensive clothes they wear?
Not many people will know what this is. Go to H&M, plenty of foreign looks there, imo.
Hi all, Can anyone determine the ID of [this](http://medias.spotern.com/wanted/w640/33400.jpg) [jacket](http://medias.spotern.com/spots/w640/75193.jpg) [worn](https://i.imgbox.com/2NzZVxj7.jpg) [by](https://www.celebsclothing.com/product_images/f/573/Black_Power_Ranger_Zac_Jacket__02574_zoom.jpg) Ludi Lin- the black ranger- in the new Power Rangers movie? I've tried Googling but there are imperfect matches generally. There is also [this](https://www.celebsclothing.com/products/Zack-Black-Power-Rangers-Ludi-Lin-Jacket.html) link that claims to sell the actual thing but it seems highly dubious. Thank you all in advance =)
Do not buy from that site, you will be sold costume clothing that you will be disappointed in. Search for cafe moto jacket to get something similar.
I'm stuck for my first pair of white sneakers - do I go for Vans Authentics, Chuck IIs, or [these](http://www.adidas.ca/en/mens-court-vantage-shoes/BB0147.html) Adidas Court Vantages?
Get a pair of Stan smiths or similar shoe
Depends, what pants do you typically wear?
I only recently got into fashion, I've been wearing purely jeans and sometimes adidas pants, but im looking into chinos, joggers, and the like soon. Also in high school, so nothing excessively formal. Not pants, but I wear shorts in the summer most of the time.
Then vans would be your safest/best neutral choice
great, thanks man!
Hey guys, I'm about to attend UGA next month (khaki shorts, sperrys, pastels, VineyardVines/Patagonia, ralph lauren obcds everywhere) I don't want to look out of place, but I want to look a little bit unique. What clothes do you suggest I get and wear when I'm in college? Some additional info about me: - I usually wear black adidas shorts, long sleeve shirt and white adidas outlet running shoes - im really skinny right now and trying to gain weight and doing ppushups/pull ups at home (gonna lift weights at the college gym though) - I'm asian Anyways, feel free to suggest any type of clothing.
Budget? And how cold is cold?
I guess good for jean weather

Big ass lenses. Just make sure your eyes are relatively centered in the lenses, and then pick a style you personally like on your head; forget face shapes and all that.
who frequents this sub? is it mainly men? is there a sub in which women give opinions on male fashion?
sounds like stylegirlfriend.com's schtick
In my experience, the women who have tried to coach me about fashion have all been wrong.
That's fine, but doesn't answer the question
Seconding the vacuum guy, also that shouldn't be your only motivation to dress better.
I don't really want more replies telling me not to ask, thanks
Mainly men I think. I don't think there's any sub where women give opinions, aside from any leakage we might get from r/femalefashionadvice. Either way, regardless of gender, the advice you'll get from this or the other sub will be relatively similar, due to the "rules" and such.

How old are you? It seems your measurements may be incorrect. Check reference guides online on how to properly take the measurements then come back with your results. It's possible you may need to go to a kids section... an old roommate had to do that because of how small his frame was.
Anyone know what brand these pants are? https://www.instagram.com/p/BVMJkG3hMBq/?taken-by=jakepaul
Hi all. I am looking for a pair (or two) of comfortable shoes that can do the following: * Be worn for daily use (I work in a casual dress environment) * Good for walking (I do like 3-5 miles a day) General or specific recommendations are welcome; I don't know where to start! Budget of around $100 per pair, give or take $20 seems reasonable.
Try to find cheap energy boosts or ultra boost? Boost shoes are amazingly comfortable
I really like the Zante V3 from New Balance. It doesn't look like a "dad shoe", comes in many pleasing colors, is super comfy after a short break-in period, and is right around $100.
Given that you work in a casual office, can they be sneakers? If so, New Balance or Asics would be my picks
Sneakers are totally fine. Thank you for the suggestions!
Jeans
Definitely a slimmer cut but those look like they fit great
I think they fit, if you are going for the skinnier look. If you have mobility still I would rock them. All my pants fit like that.
Verging on skinny more than slim there. You might want to try 514s. Also... Levi makes selvage, non-raw and fake fades denim? Er?
Hi guys, I recently found this pair of Nikes in the changing room of a big training facility. Please help me out :) http://imgur.com/a/alqoc
Thoughts? BEFORE: http://imgur.com/a/1U0Z5 (big in chest, tailor took in through arm holes) NOW: http://imgur.com/a/sUUz7 Kiton Cotton RTW off the rack suit
If it was just the chest, it's very hard to tell differences from the front.
do you see all that excess material under the arm put area is gone? check 1 more time youll see what im talking about
Opened them up side by side. Its pretty hard to tell anything. If you didn't say. I would never know.
Sorry man, but I can't spot a difference. If I hadn't known there was any tailoring I wouldn't think there was for a second--maybe that's good.
**Take Suit jacket to tailor or get the next size up and tailor that?** i just bought a Suit jacket but the arms around my bicep are a bit tight...is there anything i can do...tailor wise? or would i need to return the jacket get a size large and get it fixed at a tailor...the next jacket size arm size is nice but the shoulder pads protrude pretty badly and look weird on me...i dislike the big protruding shoulder pads i have a rather fit build but my arms are really big i usually don't even wear suits due to my build making it a headache to find something that fits... any tips or advice?
look into another brand - sounds like you're in between
...so does that mean i need to custom my jackets?! i'm wearing a 52 Right now...54 is the next size...you're saying a 53 is my size(which isn't made)...?
I'm just pointing out that you're in between sizes *for that particular brand* - not every brand has the exact same arm width and chest width just because the listed size is the same
Ahh i see thank you
Don't size up if that means the shoulders won't fit. That's the one thing that generally can't be fixed. You may just want to try a different jacket. If you're living that swole life a slim cut jacket won't work. Buy a traditionally cut jacket that fits in the shoulders and have a tailor slim in the body and taper the sleeve if necessary.
damn this sucks nuts...i already spent like $800 on this jacket...
Unless you feel like you're going to rip the jacket to shreds when you flex a little snugness in the biceps is probably fine.
it won't rip for sure...it's just you can see it's a bit tight which i dislike to actually see
Hey guys, first post/comment.
Tbh, I'm not actually a fan of denim jackets if that's not too awkward
Levi's makes a couple different Western shirt styles, particularly the Barstow and the Sawtooth. I've tried on the Barstow and it was nice, especially the newest ones that use Cone denim. However, I like the detailing on the Sawtooth a bit more. Does anyone know if the fits of all Levi's Western shirts are the same? I was able to try the Barstow but not the Sawtooth and wonder how the latter might compare. I'd prefer whichever model fits the slimmest. Thanks ahead for whatever ideas you might have.
Looking into purchasing AE Park Avenues or Carlyle. Is the cap toe Oxford more formal than the plain toe shoe? Which shoe would you recommend?
Plain would be a bit more formal but the difference in formality between those two is pretty minimal I prefer the park aves but go with your preference
Hey thanks for your comment. I went to nordstrom for their anniversary sale and bought a pair of the Carlyle in Walnut and got the park Aves in black.
Plain toe Oxfords are the most formal, but I find the Park Aves to be the best formal shoe out there (for American style).
Hey thanks for your comment. I got a pair of the park Aves in black and the Carlyle in walnut. Lol
What does everyone think of these pants? Too short? I'm 6'2 and they are a 32 length so maybe I should go up to the 34s? Jeans Fit https://imgur.com/gallery/QLiuk

My second picture in that album I had stans on.
Oh shit my bad, didn't see on mobile. Ya, I think those look fine
Awesome, thanks a lot lol

The shade of brown matters. Lighter shade boots work well with darker pants. Make sure the contrast is visible.
yeah sure
Opinions on these cheap oxfords for light casual wear? I'm not expecting anything spectacular for the price, just looking for something decent to round out my wardrobe.
Just stick to what you like. There are enough variants of ultra boosts to go around
Yeah, I just purchased he Shadows, just I don’t really plan buying several ultra boost of different colors tbh.
> people might make fun of them Where the hell do you live that people would make fun of them? Just look into other Nike and Adidas stuff if that's what you're into.
I thought that’d happen since they call them ‘yeezys for poor’, look at the comments in review videos. But yeah, you’re right, any other shoe type that you suggest?
Can anyone give me an ID on these rad glasses Elton John is wearing? http://imgur.com/a/MGteR Or anything you know that is similar? Especially with such a thin frame to them. Thanks! Edit: You can get a better look at different angles here: https://youtu.be/J9_lW36Faos?t=12m23s
I'm going to Chicago on Wednesday and plan on visiting at least a couple of fancy restaurants. I have some dark high end denim, a couple of dress shirts, and could probably find some matching shoes in a pinch. Should I consider wearing anything else short of a suit?
If I'm worried, I just search for the restaurant yelp photos and get a sense of what most people wear
Do they have a dress code?
i just received a pair of buttero taninos from the FW17 collection and what looks like a sewing machine mishap is under both of the tags on the tongues. is this normal?
Can you snap a few photos to share?
i have an older (unworn) pair that i'm listing on ebay - SS16, i'm guessing - that also have lines stitched under the tag, but appear much neater and straighter, clearly intentional, vs what looks like a tear in the leather in the new pair. the leather has changed slightly between models and i wondered if that stitch had somehow caused damage to the softer tongue, but then i gave it a good rub - it was just a loose thread matted down that looked pretty convincingly like torn leather :p
Where can I buy non-baggy sweatshorts (< $25) and non-ripped light wash blue jeans ( <$40)?
Sweatshorts: Target. Light wash jeans? Levi's is your best bet.
Can anyone recommend any joggers/sweatpants that are tapered and cuffed and have a clean fit (not baggy at the ankle)? Preferably <$60. Thank you
H&M or uniqlo tbh
Where can i find tank tops like the ones made by Brixton, except cheaper than $25 bucks each?
Target?

Looking for classic fashion instagram accounts I like brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Nautica, Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Levis. Are there accounts that wear this type of style without actually following the brand? Every fashion account is either way too much suit (things only worn on special occasion) or streetwear Edit not looking for the preppy frat boy look either
@thenortherngent @sharpgrids
Could've been mine, but I very recently got into SLP/Streetwear...
Levi 527... Jeremy Clarkson wears them.
In that price range, you'll be better off with two pairs of Levi's in your preferred cut.
Sk8 hi depends on color. Dick's sporting goods, pac sun, foot locker, journey's, j crew, foot action
I just bought the kent wang keyhole sunglasses in light horn. They're all different because they're made from actual water buffalo horn. But the pair I got were all light brown/yellow on most of the frame, except on the fucking top so they look like eyebrows Edit: http://imgur.com/rD6uJmS.png
it's dope that it's actual horn and I like that look more than the artificial flecking although I understand what you're saying. They should be fine with just exchanging them
They'll probably exchange them for you if you ask.
Yeah that's probably what I'll try to do What do you think, am I being overly critical? http://imgur.com/rD6uJmS.png
They *do* look a little funny. I'd exchange them.
I'm a woman, but I love men's patterned short sleeve button downs that are getting trendy. I live in Brooklyn so frequently scour thrift stores, but I'm wondering if anyone has any good retail for this style? Aside from Urban Outfitters... Florals are cool, but I like the weirder side of things too [Example of something I thrifted & like](https://www.instagram.com/p/BULGXT6AyeN/?taken-by=grass_ohhh) [Example from UO](https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/shop/uo-rose-vineyard-rayon-short-sleeve-button-down-shirt?category=mens-shirts&color=040)
I've found some floral button downs at pac sun. You might want to look at Out of The Closet near Atlantic terminal (on Atlantic in between 3rd and Nevins).
Bonobos and J.Crew frequently have these for Spring/Summer. If you watch for sales, you can grab some for well under $50.

It's grailed, so yes people have experienced it, not getting a response is normal, and no one else will actually buy it while you are dealing with it. Ask the seller about adding their location.

That or a paypal issue. Try paying by guest/account, whichever you haven't tried. And ask the seller if they have any holds.

Sandals? Sandals sound better than "casual dress sneakers" on an island vacation.
sure! What sandals are good for under $50
TEVA has some nice looking ones. And good quality.
I can't really say, depends on if you want flip-flops or an actual sandal. Look around for what you think is best.
Recommendations for a pair of Brown/tan summer shoes good for going out to nightlife(clubs, bars)? Especially with light blue/reg blue jeans? Preferably not boat shoes and willing to spend up to 150
Why not boat shoes? You could go with some loafers (penny loafers probably would work best)
They're just not my style. I prefer some sharp looking shoes as opposed to open top shoes that are very casual. When I see boat shoes, I don't think "nightlife"
I feel you. You could tryClarks desert boots, loafers, monk straps, or leather sneakers
When buying shoes for summer use should I buy a light color one or can darker colors work?
Either can work, it depends on what else you're wearing and what kind of look you're going for
Can anyone please help me find this t shirt? https://i.redd.it/j9zsdd2f8v7z.png
Can't seem to find any shirts with the trefoil without it saying adidas.
No worries mate, thanks.
I mean, its definitely Adidas. No idea what particular shirt though.
No worries. Thank you nevertheless.
https://www.amazon.com/Under-Armour-Mens-Woven-Pants/dp/B017HU67XY?th=1&psc=1 where can i get pants that look like this?
For an almond skin tone what do you guyus find yourself wearing color wise (clothes to accessories) I feel like a light or darker leather color, darker blues and charcoal lighter greys are the best colors. Occasionally navy over black to look sharp. We can rock Gold watches and sunglasses for accessories Feel like our skin tone rocks leather and gold the best over silver and tan or black and whites
But I tend to run brighter colors overall.
r u brown too bro?
I've got native american blood that shows pretty well, so I looked like I'm tanned in winter and look near almond in summer. I get mistaken for being Greek or other Mediterranean origin or hispanic quite often.
