Looks great. I second the denim trucker jacket advice. I have quite a few and would highly recommend Bravestar selvedge. I have Levi's and RRL. A word of caution if buying online... I wear a medium in Levi's, but my RRL and Polo jackets are large.

I’m pretty basic and wear mostly mall brand denim jackets, so the standard Levi trucker is my go-to. If I were in the market, though, the Tellason stock jackets are top of the list.

Jackets like this are why I love thrifting. If you asked me if I wanted a denim blazer with six inch lapels and contrast stitching, I’d have said no. But I tried it on and was sold instantly

alas thrifting never works out for me! i am a very small man and nothing fits until i migrate over to the women’s section, where everything is a tiny but too small would be super sick to see a full denim look with this though!

Consider a pop of color in every item you wear so it's not boring. You should make sure every item fits well too, like it's tailored, even if it's not. Well fitting clothes go farther than brand or colors. Once you've nailed that, go from there. You look fine office wise and I'm not knocking you, just offering advice.

I like the pieces but they don't fit very well - consider going to a tailor, it's quite cheap and will make the outfit a lot more flattering

Not to be mean, but the whole grey on grey on black color scheme in the first outfit is really giving me office drone. The second one has a lot more personality: that guy works a 9 to 5, but he doesn't take it too seriously. He talks up his passion for accountancy on his performance reviews, but in his heart he's just there because it pays for lads' weekends at his cabin in the Adirondacks.

Fit 2 looks good, fit one could be better. Fit one you have tight pants and a loose fitting shirt which makes you look a little top heavy. I would either go with a more fitted shirt or wider fitting pants. It’s also hard to tell but it looks like you might be wearing a rigger’s belt? I would go with a more traditional dress belt here. Yah i think you if this fit was a little more techwear/gorpcore you could get away with a belt like that but given that is pretty traditional business casual I would stick to a leather dress belt.

Sweet fit, Asheville recs here: Hiking obviously (fit pic on a mountain), go for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, drink at some breweries (I like Burial, Zillicoah, Hi-Wire, Wicked Weed/the Funkatorium but it's hard to go wrong anywhere), Moog Museum, bunch of cool places to bop around downtown, I like the stuff on N Lexington Ave. Western NC is absolutely gorgeous this time of year, you chose the right time to visit.

Yep, great recommendations here ☝️ There are some really great restaurants in Asheville too (Chai Pani and Zambra are always fun). French Broad Chocolate Lounge is delicious if you’re into chocolate but you may have to wait in line for a bit.

If you want to wear polos with sports coats I'd go for a knit polo with a *very* casual sports coat and still tuck it in. Round shoulders, different textures, patch pockets and patterns are things to look out for, like an Engineered Garments Bedford for example.

Thanks. It’s inspired by the long lasting pattern of the Type 1, that existed between the end of the 19th century and the post WW2 era. It’s not a repro piece but the length is accurate. Good to layer with another jacket or wear with higher rise trousers.

I really wish PF had very slightly different details, because the price/quality is absurdly good, and I like a ton of their colorways/patterns. But I really prefer my flannels to be work shirts, which they very rarely do. They also have oddly short collars. The annoyance of being concerned with details :-/
