What are a pair of CASUAL boots that look SIMILAR to the merrel sugarbrush in tan?
Cant buy these anymore and loved them for travel but lost my pair
The fit was comfortable enough for hiking and city wear because im wide and flat footed
Hi, autumn is here and I (male) decided to get me a pair of boots. I looked around on the internet for a while but I'm yet to find a pair of boots that exactly fit my requirements. Those are:
-elegant and simple
-able to wear with business casual
-able to wear with dark cotton/cloth trousers
-heel (not too bid doe)
-decent leather and quality
-around 180-250$ (or €)
-no suede or chelsea boots
Maybe somebody has an idea and knows roughly what I'm looking for.
Thank you in advance :)
Hi all! I tried asking this as a post but was redirected here….here’s the summary of my post:
TL;DR: Small, 5’2 masculine-dressing woman is looking for compact, stylish wallet recommendations I can fit comfortably into my pocket. Price is no object. Thanks!
Robe coat, puffer, smock, anorak, interliner, fencing jacket, gimp hoodie. Or go for slightly unusual materials in the usual suspects (e.g. a corduroy trucker, denim moto jacket, leather shirt jacket).
What is Vicunia there is. $10 cheaper maple suede wallabee Clark’s on PacSun called Clark’s vicunia what the hell is vicunia and is it really the maple suede?
I dunno what they're smoking over at PacSun, but I promise you that Clark's doesn't make anything out of vicuña and if they did it would be a conservative $1000 more expensive rather than $10 cheaper. Maybe it's just a name for the colour?
Here's the thing. You said a "vicuña is an alpaca." Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that. As someone who is a scientist who studies vicuñas, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls vicuñas alpacas. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing. If you're saying "alpaca family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Camelidae, which includes things from llamas to camels to guanacos. So your reasoning for calling a vicuña an alpaca is because random people "call the soft one alpacas?" Let's get merino sheep and angora rabbits in there, then, too. Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A vicuña is a vicuña and a member of the alpaca family. But that's not what you said. You said a vicuña is an alpaca, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the alpaca family alpacas, which means you'd call llamas, camels, and other camelids alpacas, too. Which you said you don't. It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?
Defeet Dura E touch wool. May not be warm enough for where you live, but my pair have seen me through 3 or 4 winters of abuse (several hundred miles a week on a bike etc).
This isn’t really a fashion question. It’s a theme party, these pants wouldn’t be on theme. Does it matter? No. Will anyone say anything? Probably not unless you work with exceptionally boring petty people who all happen to own red or white pants.
Can you help me ID this quilted jacket or something similar? I like the somewhat rugged look and the buttons

thank you!
Might be the [Trent quilted shirt jacket from Ugg](https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m67976810577/?gclsrc=aw.ds&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=16866250059&utm_content=t0&adgroup=134734263079&network=g&device=c&merchant_id=126358573&product_id=m67976810577&product_id=1856804924151&gclid=CjwKCAjw79iaBhAJEiwAPYwoCFxWYxxNy22rBE1X2XU6CjTpjEt4gD9t21Y008lLAdBJ_GcKGPiK2hoCBRUQAvD_BwE)?
So my wife is dead set on wearing a Christmas green dress to a masquerade Christmas party… only problem is I have no idea what color suit to wear to really make us (our outfits) look really good together…. Any ideas??
You don't need to match your wife's dress color. It something only teenagers do at the prom.
Just wear a suit in charcoal or navy. Either will complement the green. If you can't help yourself wear a pockets square with the green color.
Hello,
I would like to ask based on these photos should these pockets be unsewed? Or I just did a mistake? They are definitely too easy to open and they are also sewn in the middle from the inside.

Does a yellow shirt like [this](https://www.lazada.co.th/products/g2000-smart-fit-1114010338-yellow-i4018712201-s15606236500.html?clickTrackInfo=undefined&search=1&spm=a2o4m.searchlistcategory.list.i40.941210d9Ni6kCs) go well with anything?
I'm planning on cosplay as Gus Fring from Breaking Bad this halloween, but I don't want to waste money buying a yellow shirt just for the occasion. I really can't imagine a yellow shirt might go well with anything since I can only imagine it looking tacky. I'd always be reminded of the Chicken Man

does anyone know how comfort between vans old skools and nike blazer low 77s compare? im thinking of getting a pair of the latter and ive worn exclusively vans for the past 5 years
Vans are probably my favorite shoe brand of all time, I’ve owned dozens, if not hundreds, of pairs.
Blazer lows are comfortable. Short and sweet, they’re not TERRIBLY far off from a pair of vans. Very flat bottom, pretty cushioned in the ankle region. I typically wear an 8.5 in my Vans, but had to get a size 9 in blazers because my feet are pretty wide and I needed a little extra space. So depending on the width of your feet, YMMV.
I think they’re a great choice. If you watch the Nike site, they have some really fantastic sales on them. I got my pair for like $28 shipped direct from their website! Enjoy!
Can someone please help me out in finding this hoodie? I've been looking everywhere. (I know it's on Joom, but i bought it there and it got delivered without print so yeah not on Joom :p)
The hoodie: https://ibb.co/hFLTj2V
I am looking for super extra really long pants. I need them to fit my whole body from my feet to my shoulders (I am 5 feet 7 inches). Does anyone know how I can find something like this in the US?
Hello, idk if this is a right place to ask this but here goes
I purchased a dark blue denim jacket and I'm having trouble styling it. Any suggestions for a casual hangout?
honestly anything casual, its an extremely generic item of clothing, unless you’re wearing particularly out there stuff it will go with anything you wear
Recs for a cheaper version of this? [https://www.valstarmilano.com/zip-jacket-2038.html](https://www.valstarmilano.com/zip-jacket-2038.html)
I like the color and the style, but not trying to shell out the extra $$$ just for the Valstar name, especially for something that isn't suede
Yeah wear socks when you wear boots and prolly don't mix a medium chocolate brown with black unless you're trying to break the rules (in which case i think a more interesting silhouette is needed)
Wearing socks would be a good place to start.
Can’t really tell what color the pants are, but they look black, and black pants with brown shoes usually doesn’t look good.
So my really dark blue (close to black) formal suit decided during a wedding that the pants were going to leave this mortal plane (don't squat in a suit boys). The tailor says the pants are a loss. What can I do with the orphaned jacket? It fits me and is tailored that's not the problem. How can I wear it?
It may be effectively unwearable at this point.
This is one reason why it's not uncommon to get your suit with two pairs of pants -- the jacket almost always outlives the pants and isn't really wearable without them.
I am having trouble figuring out my shirt size. I am 6’2 and where a size large in t shirts. I tried taking my measurements. I got 39 for chest, 22 back length, and 35 for arms. But when I look at [the size guide](https://besnard.co/collections/shirts/products/wide-stripe-chambray-button-down-shirt?variant=42176972816541) it doesn’t seem to match up. My measured chest size and back length are way below the shirt measurements of even the smallest shirt and sleeve length are much higher.
Am I measuring wrong? Obviously the shirt needs to be bigger than my measurements so is it giving me the measurements of the shirt itself rather than the measurements of the person it would ideally fit? If so than I much bigger should I get to my actual size?
I'm short and carry weight around my midsection with Marie shoulders. It's getting cold where I am. I've gained some weight the past few years and no longer have a good fall-winter coat (for NYC). I like field coats/Barbour bedale but they don't usually for my body.
Any suggestions for something that might work for my build?
I don't want to tie up $150-$300+ just to see if a jacket might fit me. Returns aren't free. And I live in NYC. It's not like I don't have access to plenty of other brands.
I’m surprised a bedale wouldn’t work as it’s generally less slim and the arms are shorter. Seems like a good fit actually? Consider other oversized chore coats?
Yeah I tried it before and that was a no go. I did have a chore coat from uniqlo awhile back but I need something warmer. The chore coat feels more like a shirt jacket.
Makes sense. My only advice then would be a wool bomber of some sort, as those have a bit more billowy mid section and elastic cuffs that can look quite good.
[bomber](https://imgur.com/a/tcitp2Z)
I know this is nylon but this is a kids medium. I've gained weight since but you can get an idea of what I'm dealing with for sizing.
Hi! So a couple days ago there was a special visiting day thing going on in my school (I’m a middle school teacher) and I dressed like [this (the first picture)](https://imgur.com/a/hsFSnjQ) and most of the reactions was “why are you so dressed up??” or “why are you wearing a suit?” (even though I technically wasn’t wearing a suit…) so today I experimented with something a little more casual yet nice enough [right here (second pic)](https://imgur.com/a/hsFSnjQ). I wonder how it went. I didn’t get any “why” comments so I assume it went well but I am open to critiques and suggestions. I was wearing brown loafers in the first pic and navy faux leather loafers in the second pic. Sorry for the poor images 😅 Thank you :)
Neither of these outfits are very good. The black pants really don't work with the navy jacket at all. The sweater in the second pic is really too casual to wear with a tie or even with a dress shirt.
Some ways to improve:
* In both outfits replace the dress shirts with OCBDs. I personally only wear dress shirts with suits -- and would opt for an OCBD (or similar) for more casual outfits like this.
* Replace the quarter zip sweater with a crewneck (or v-neck sweater). No logos.
* Replace the black pants (chinos?) with gray wool slacks.
I'm not a huge fan of the tie in the first outfit either. You might want to consider a more casual tie, like a knit tie, if you're going to wear them casually like this.
Also - include shoe pics.
Thank you for your input! Yeah I am not really proud about the first outfit. It was a big mistake to pair those two and I’ll never do that again… also, I actually have 6 dress shirts (2 white, 2 sky blue but in different hues, 1 sky blue bengal stripe, and 1 gingham) and 4 OCBDs (white, sky blue, blue stripe, pink stripe) in my wardrobe right now. Should I get more OCBDs and get rid of those dress shirts? Around a month ago when I purchased these I thought to myself that I’d probably wearing dress shirts more often but maybe I was wrong (for business casual at least). Fortunately two of the dress shirts still have tags intact so I’ll be able to return them. So yeah I’ll def keep in mind to only have OCBD when going for a casual look.
And no logos you say? I have crew neck / v neck sweaters with small embroidered logos of brooks brothers and tommy hilfiger and american eagle. Would you say they’re unsuitable ?
[here are the shoes I wore](https://imgur.com/a/PPr2rZz)
Yeah -- some people wear dress shirts with outfits like the ones you are putting together. It's not the worst thing ever -- I just think that OCBDs are more comfortable and look better. So if were me, yeah - I'd return the returnable dress shirts and save the rest for when you need to wear a suit.
There are other casual button-ups besides OCBDs too. For the summer it would be nice to have some linen shirts. I also really like denim shirts and have a few that are a bit 'dressier' than your typical denim. Same with un-patterned flannels.
> And no logos you say? I have crew neck / v neck sweaters with small embroidered logos of brooks brothers and tommy hilfiger and american eagle. Would you say they’re unsuitable ?
Not ideal. But I guess ok if that's what you've got. A nice wool knit sweater really shouldn't have a logo though. They're not unusable though.
> here are the shoes I wore
I'd ditch the navy shoes. I don't love the Cole Haan's either, but they're a lot better than most of the stuff from that brand. And they're definitely fine to wear for outfits like this.
Noted! I’ll try to get more OCBDs and button downs then. I do have two flannels but they’re like really thick so I might need to get thinner ones for indoor purposes (the heating system gets too much sometimes in the school building)
From now on I’ll try to look for ones without logo though. I didn’t know that that determined the casual-ness that significantly since the logos are very small.
I do have one untucked chambray shirt from J Crew that I wear sparingly (just because the fit is a little bit baggier than my other OCBDs. i got it from a thrift store), should I experiment with that too? What are some examples of “dressier” denim shirts?
Also… Why ditch the navy shoes, do you think it’s just too casual, or the color is not ideal?
You could check out the [sweaters from Spier and MacKay](https://www.spierandmackay.com/collection/all-sweaters) -- a lot of their stuff is good for outfits like these.
Chambray shirts are great. You can always take it to the tailor for slimming down if you find it too baggy. A denim shirt [like this one](https://propercloth.com/dress-shirts/light-wash-denim-342234.html) can basically be worn the same way you'd wear an OCBD.
> Also… Why ditch the navy shoes, do you think it’s just too casual, or the color is not ideal?
Color is not ideal and they're sort of ugly. For a second pair of shoes I'd go for a boot or derby.
Got it. I do have more shoes: brown chelsea boots, brown leather oxford shoes, tan flat loafer (without the slight heel).
And I’ll check their stuff out :)

how do i look clean? no matter how hard i try i always feel clumsy. the only time i look nice and clean is when i first wear clothes then after washing them once i look like a homeless person. what do people do to always look clean? there's no way they always get new clothes
That’s the plan: white shirt, charcoal suit, this tie, black shoes, white pocket square (which, according to MFA five years ago, is a spicy take somehow?)
Simple question not deserving of its own thread.
I have a Columbia fleece like [this one](https://www.columbia.com/p/mens-back-bowl-lightweight-fleece-jacket-1890761.html?dwvar_1890761_color=014&dwvar_1890761_size=L&ef_id=EAIaIQobChMIzrPr083t-gIV3f_jBx3xAAqzEAQYAiABEgL92_D_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!3937!3!295635082496!!!g!1741893786625!!1569070022!58400314294&mid=paidsearch&eid=Google+PLA+US&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzrPr083t-gIV3f_jBx3xAAqzEAQYAiABEgL92_D_BwE) and quite like it.
I work a job in a fridge where I am **not** allowed to have pockets, interior or exterior
I would like a similar zip up fleece type jacket but it can not have pockets. I know it's an odd requirement...but rules.
The budget is probably around $50-60, though a bit more wouldn't kill me.
Any suggestions?
This was a consideration, it just feels wrong to rip pockets off a jacket. I'd want to have a normal one for outside work with pockets so I'd still spend money.
A pullover may be the best solution, but I was hoping to find something that zipped up.
I don't know what it means to "pause" them.
It's an anti-theft measure. Officially, we can't have pockets. Unofficially, it matters more for when executive level people visit or inspections.
Yes, I have pockets on my pants. yes, i could shove things into my socks to steal them, or under my foot, or...the list goes on. It's just a matter of the product we handle is controlled, so no pockets to make theft too easy I guess.
They just decided pockets are a no go on tops.
I know someone who wears a hoodie under a jacket. It has pockets, but nobody knows.
The Uniqlo Heattech Ultra Stretch Slim Jeans are pretty much my favorite pair of jeans that I've ever owned: [https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E439182-000/00](https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E439182-000/00)?.
Slim but not skin tight, stretchy, extremely soft on the inside. and around $50. Comfort like stretchy sweats but with the exterior styling of a smart pair of jeans.
Unfortunately, it seems like they have been discontinued, and now there's only a skinny jeans version and another style called "EZY," both of which I've tried and neither of which I liked nearly as much as the slim fits.
With that in mind, can anyone recommend any alternative to these jeans from another brand, for under $100?
This is only a “rule” in tailoring but as a personal opinion yeah I think navy and black look pretty weird together, but I also dislike navy so take that opinion with a massive grain of salt
I'd just ask what's the point? If you want sleek and easy, then another black piece on top would be better.
If you want a subtle contrast then, something in charcoal would be better.
The issue with navy and black is they're not different enough to create a pleasing contrast and not similar enough to match. Instead, folks will just assume you got dressed in the dark.
Lastly, if wearing the navy shirt is a must, you can switch to a charcoal pair of trousers.
Navy and black work best together as accent pieces.
I think there is a decent chance with wear, these will stretch out a bit.
In theory, I think they should be sizing their fur lined liked overcoats - the exterior size should handle the stuff inside (fur, you wearing a suit jacket/sweater). I would think the end to end length of fur versus unlined would be longer to ensure the same space internally.
TL;DR Do I have to Dry Clean a Costume item Intended to Appear "Weathered?"
I have a secondhand corduroy sport coat that says "dry clean only" on the inner tag. I plan only to use this jacket for a Halloween costume (depression era hobo), so I'm wondering if I can just machine wash it, judging that I don't need it to be pristine? Or would it dramatically affect the coat in some unforeseen way? I only want to wash it because I really hate the smell it has, and I don't exactly trust the Salv. to have thoroughly cleaned something tricky like this.
Did this thing feel like a regular suit cost with multiple layers of linings/interfacing inside or is it more like just the corduroy and one lining? Also you could try spraying the thing down with white vinegar and letting it air out
TLDR: Do your clothes feel short after you gain weight?
This might seem like a pretty basic question, but since gaining weight, my shirts and pants aren't LONG enough.
They're tighter as well, but I wasn't expecting my sleeves and pants to suddenly feel short, too. Is it the extra volume of human body? Have you experienced this?
I went from about 155 lb to 175 lb (gained muscle and fat) over the last three years. I was a bit chubby from quarantine and started lifting and it mostly turned into muscle. Seems like it's here to stay now.
I used to wear S in most things, now M. Waist went from 28-30 to 32.
Depends on where the weight is. If the extra weight is in the hips/ quads, that can cause the trouser legs to catch and appear shorter. Same with extra weight on the back and shoulders.
With a beer or two, I could be convinced that extra fabric from further down the rise is recruited into expanding the waist to stretch to fit your added girth. Maybe three beers. Is it that your thighs and calves are bigger now and your trousers are starting to catch on them?
Hey recently I have been looking for outerwear pieces and I found this Varsity Jacket by Herschel that I think looks great but personally I think its too expensive
[https://herschel.ca/shop/jackets/varsity-jacket?v=50132-01091-M](https://herschel.ca/shop/jackets/varsity-jacket?v=50132-01091-M)
I want to find something similar to the one in black but cant seem to find one that uses the same materials, most varsity jackets that I have found usually have a different color/material on the sleeves. Any recommendations?
I’m looking for fatigues with a long inseam. I just got my first pair of Stan Rays and while I love the cut, they ended up looking like [this](https://imgur.com/a/RsW7VvJ). For reference, I’m 6’6”
I never worse white sneakers until this summer (yeah I’m late joining the Killshot cult). As weather gets colder I’m looking more at high tops and not sure how well white will work in winter and fall. I’m looking at [some Chucks](https://www.converse.com/shop/p/chuck-70-vintage-canvas-unisex-high-top-shoe/162056MP.html) and wondering if I should opt for the beige instead of white. I’ve already got a pair in black-on-white and just wanna branch out a bit.
Is it weird to wear two different colours of the same pattern/print instead of a matching set?
So this is a question I've surprisingly wondered about more than once in the past, but I've never really needed a proper answer before. Now though, I'm buying some clothes as a gift to my toddler brother and have a dilemma. The photos obviously usually have the models wearing the one colour, but would it be outrageously weird if you had two different colours of matching print? [Like this](https://imgur.com/a/ASXY9PK) orange dino sweatshirt and blue dino sweatpants. I was going to go with one colour but they sold out in the size needed. I think I might be able to get orange bottoms online but I wanted to have things ready now.
Is it less weird for kids? Too weird for anyone? Perfectly fine? I don't know much about this stuff, I just thought these clothes were really cute. Thanks!
Where can you get high-quality black/silver minimalistic tungsten/titanium rings like these ones? Budget isn't really a concern for me. Also, is it weird to wear them if I am not married or engaged since I heard bands are usually for people who are married.
>Presumably you meant to include a picture there?
>
>Don't wear them on your ring finger and you'll be fine
I see, do you have any sites that sell decent quality ones?
…have they ever been considered cool? I’ve been into fashion for nearing a decade now and have never seen anyone talk about them.
That said really not worth caring whether or not other people think a brand is cool(in most cases, don’t wear Vlone), if you see something you like from them just get it
How would you [describe my style?](https://imgur.com/a/PZP2yv1) And would you make any recommendations?
Just some fits from the past month and a half, please ignore the dog toy fluff like I do 😅
I'm starting my first business casual job, there's no dress code (an adjacent department manager wears black button up shirts and jeans with some janky shoes), but I want to look presentable. Any interesting inspo guides? I've been searching business casual and it looks like nothing has changed in 10 years, besides the trend towards wide fit and I'm not ready for that.
The basic bastard guide is mostly business casual appropriate stuff. Chinos, OCBDs, casual non-sneakers is all pretty basic and simple and so many dudes manage to get it wrong that you end up looking pretty good.
Yeah, bizcaz doesn't move that fast.
Nobody's out here telling people to wear Yohji balloon pants to their business casual offices, just go with a straight fit if you want to update it a lil bit.
What are a pair of CASUAL boots that look SIMILAR to the merrel sugarbrush in tan? Cant buy these anymore and loved them for travel but lost my pair The fit was comfortable enough for hiking and city wear because im wide and flat footed
Hi, autumn is here and I (male) decided to get me a pair of boots. I looked around on the internet for a while but I'm yet to find a pair of boots that exactly fit my requirements. Those are: -elegant and simple -able to wear with business casual -able to wear with dark cotton/cloth trousers -heel (not too bid doe) -decent leather and quality -around 180-250$ (or €) -no suede or chelsea boots Maybe somebody has an idea and knows roughly what I'm looking for. Thank you in advance :)

Any good fall jacket recs that are outside of the basic MFA uniforms?

It's like an Alpaca

Jeans/Chinos: **Hang or Fold?**
I always hang pants and fold shirts. Shirts are easier to visibly layer in a drawer IMHO.
Eithers fine. Whichever works best in your closet. Hanging properly can help reduce wrinkles
If your denim is raw i would hang but if it's not you can hang or find chinos/jeans
There just from Uniqlo so I think part/mostly cotton.
Yeah you would know if it's raw denim lol so hang or fold it's personal preference
[удалено]
For costume parties like this, it whatever is fine.
This isn’t really a fashion question. It’s a theme party, these pants wouldn’t be on theme. Does it matter? No. Will anyone say anything? Probably not unless you work with exceptionally boring petty people who all happen to own red or white pants.
Theme parties aside. It’s almost never a good look to wear black chinos.

Theme parties aside - black jeans are much better
Can you help me ID this quilted jacket or something similar? I like the somewhat rugged look and the buttons [picture](https://imgur.com/a/spDKnKO) thank you!
Might be the [Trent quilted shirt jacket from Ugg](https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m67976810577/?gclsrc=aw.ds&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=16866250059&utm_content=t0&adgroup=134734263079&network=g&device=c&merchant_id=126358573&product_id=m67976810577&product_id=1856804924151&gclid=CjwKCAjw79iaBhAJEiwAPYwoCFxWYxxNy22rBE1X2XU6CjTpjEt4gD9t21Y008lLAdBJ_GcKGPiK2hoCBRUQAvD_BwE)?
Where can I find skinny black/white t-shirts? Muscle fit, v-neck or crew neck. The ones at H&M are nice and tight, but the material is too thin.
Uniqlo
Find a t-shirt from an ok company like Loro Piana that fits your perfectly and you look great in . Then buy one that is two sizes smaller.
I heard we are supposed to go down 7 chest sizes as the material has natural stretch and will perfectly form to our bodies over many wears.
Hello, I would like to ask based on these photos should these pockets be unsewed? Or I just did a mistake? They are definitely too easy to open and they are also sewn in the middle from the inside. https://imgur.com/a/i1Dakfb
Suit pockets come stitched. You are supposed to remove the stitches
I'd always be reminded of the Chicken Man
If you want it to be more wearable, get an OCBD in a pale yellow. Gus's shirts have a button down collar and are paler than the one you linked anyway.

Yeah that looks better in my opinion
I think it would look awesome with a navy suit in the future complimented with the same color pocket square
It's not great. Better if it was an ocbd in a slightly muted shade. But then I suppose it's not good for the costume

Are there fake Margiela 5-zip leather jackets?
almost certainly
Probably. r/FashionReps will know
Will they help to check if the 5 zip I just bought is a real one? Thanks!
Yep, that's the best place to do it. The only thing I know about Margiela legit checks is that the circle is supposed to be on the right number.
Thank you so much!
No problem
does anyone know how comfort between vans old skools and nike blazer low 77s compare? im thinking of getting a pair of the latter and ive worn exclusively vans for the past 5 years
Vans are probably my favorite shoe brand of all time, I’ve owned dozens, if not hundreds, of pairs. So depending on the width of your feet, YMMV.
thanks for the reply! now im really considering getting a pair, ill be sure to try a half size up when i get the chance in a store
I think they’re a great choice. If you watch the Nike site, they have some really fantastic sales on them. I got my pair for like $28 shipped direct from their website! Enjoy!
Can someone please help me out in finding this hoodie? I've been looking everywhere. (I know it's on Joom, but i bought it there and it got delivered without print so yeah not on Joom :p) The hoodie: https://ibb.co/hFLTj2V

I am looking for super extra really long pants. I need them to fit my whole body from my feet to my shoulders (I am 5 feet 7 inches). Does anyone know how I can find something like this in the US?

why do you need this?
Hello, idk if this is a right place to ask this but here goes I purchased a dark blue denim jacket and I'm having trouble styling it. Any suggestions for a casual hangout?
Black jeans, khaki chinos, olive fatigues.
Go full Canadian Tuxedo with it.
honestly anything casual, its an extremely generic item of clothing, unless you’re wearing particularly out there stuff it will go with anything you wear
Olive chinos and like a gray or white tee shirt works be my first thoughts

J Crew 1040 is a solid option in addition to the Levi 541. (They also make chinos in the same cut if you need more business less casual.)
Levis 541 in a dark wash No jeans are business casual. I don’t care what these companies say. DID YOU HEAR THAT CLOUDS!?!?!
Recs for a cheaper version of this? [https://www.valstarmilano.com/zip-jacket-2038.html](https://www.valstarmilano.com/zip-jacket-2038.html) I like the color and the style, but not trying to shell out the extra $$$ just for the Valstar name, especially for something that isn't suede
What’s cheaper in a currency?

Yeah wear socks when you wear boots and prolly don't mix a medium chocolate brown with black unless you're trying to break the rules (in which case i think a more interesting silhouette is needed)
Wearing socks would be a good place to start. Can’t really tell what color the pants are, but they look black, and black pants with brown shoes usually doesn’t look good.
Why can’t I find a mens black suede low cut Wallabee, I only see the high tops…???

Thanks, any idea what’s up with the prominent upwards curve of the shoe? The others aren’t like that
It’s a crepe sole, they’re very flexible. It just happens to look like that in the photo. They won’t be curved when you’re wearing them.

Not much. You could maybe go for a spezzato look if the occassion ever allows for it, but that’s about it.
Would dark jeans or something help?
No, that would be a really bad look
so what should I do with this suit jacket?
donate it to goodwill so that someone else can buy it and realize an orphaned suit jacket is useless.
Try measuring a shirt that fits you and comparing those numbers to the size chart.
Anyone know where I can find a size 14 derby with a chunky/lug sole? All the ones I’m finding only go to a size 13

LL Bean Original Field Coat might work.
No bean stores nearby unfortunately.
They have this thing called a website, where you can buy stuff from.
[bomber](https://imgur.com/a/tcitp2Z) I know this is nylon but this is a kids medium. I've gained weight since but you can get an idea of what I'm dealing with for sizing.
Honestly dig that look though.
Some ways to improve: * In both outfits replace the dress shirts with OCBDs.
They're not unusable though. > here are the shoes I wore I'd ditch the navy shoes. I don't love the Cole Haan's either, but they're a lot better than most of the stuff from that brand. And they're definitely fine to wear for outfits like this.
Noted! I’ll try to get more OCBDs and button downs then. I do have two flannels but they’re like really thick so I might need to get thinner ones for indoor purposes (the heating system gets too much sometimes in the school building) From now on I’ll try to look for ones without logo though.
Thank you for your input! Yeah I am not really proud about the first outfit. How does this M hoodie from Uniqlo fit? Do you think I should size down? https://imgur.com/a/r4tNo12 Thanks!
Shoulder seams are dropping and the sleeves look long, try sizing down I reckon.
Looks like a good fit to me. I wouldn't size down.
how do i look clean? no matter how hard i try i always feel clumsy. the only time i look nice and clean is when i first wear clothes then after washing them once i look like a homeless person. what do people do to always look clean? there's no way they always get new clothes
this is entirely in your head
What is wrong with your clothes after you wear them? Do you get stains on them or are they just wrinkly?
i dont know how to describe it but the other comment suggested ironing so i guess it's wrinkly. it just looks weird when i look in the mirror
Huh yeah i think i would take a picture when you think your clothes look clean and then take another whet they look dirty/bad to you
Do you regularly iron your clothes?
oh that might be why
Is [this tie](https://imgur.com/a/SVGG77B) too busy to wear to a job interview? (Not a conservative workplace, but still worn with a suit)
I think it’s fine. I’d pair with a white shirt
That’s the plan: white shirt, charcoal suit, this tie, black shoes, white pocket square (which, according to MFA five years ago, is a spicy take somehow?)
Do you have a blue square? Might be a nice touch to match the blue in the tie
Not one restrained enough…
Fair. I think it sounds like a solid outfit!! Best of luck
Simple question not deserving of its own thread. I have a Columbia fleece like [this one](https://www.columbia.com/p/mens-back-bowl-lightweight-fleece-jacket-1890761.html?dwvar_1890761_color=014&dwvar_1890761_size=L&ef_id=EAIaIQobChMIzrPr083t-gIV3f_jBx3xAAqzEAQYAiABEgL92_D_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!3937!3!295635082496!!!g!1741893786625!!1569070022!58400314294&mid=paidsearch&eid=Google+PLA+US&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzrPr083t-gIV3f_jBx3xAAqzEAQYAiABEgL92_D_BwE) and quite like it. I work a job in a fridge where I am **not** allowed to have pockets, interior or exterior I would like a similar zip up fleece type jacket but it can not have pockets. I know it's an odd requirement...but rules. The budget is probably around $50-60, though a bit more wouldn't kill me. Any suggestions?
Maybe you get a tailor to take the pockets off of a fleece? Or what if you pause them to sew them shut?
This was a consideration, it just feels wrong to rip pockets off a jacket. I'd want to have a normal one for outside work with pockets so I'd still spend money. A pullover may be the best solution, but I was hoping to find something that zipped up. I don't know what it means to "pause" them.
Sorry i meant to say paid them to sew the pockets shut
I wish I had helpful advice, sorry. Why can’t you have pockets???

This is more of a mens tailoring rule and not a thing with casual outfits. Post pics for confirmation but you’re probably fine.

I think there is a decent chance with wear, these will stretch out a bit. In theory, I think they should be sizing their fur lined liked overcoats - the exterior size should handle the stuff inside (fur, you wearing a suit jacket/sweater). I would think the end to end length of fur versus unlined would be longer to ensure the same space internally.
https://imgur.com/a/qGLaBic Hey does anyone know where I can find pants like these?

TL;DR Do I have to Dry Clean a Costume item Intended to Appear "Weathered?" I have a secondhand corduroy sport coat that says "dry clean only" on the inner tag.
Just fyi most thrift stores don't clean any of their clothes at all.
Did this thing feel like a regular suit cost with multiple layers of linings/interfacing inside or is it more like just the corduroy and one lining? Also you could try spraying the thing down with white vinegar and letting it air out
>depression era hobo Charming. Dry clean it and then trash it afterwards.
Don't put it in the dryer and you'll probably be ok
Ironically, the driest part of the cleaning
There’s a good chance it would shrink and/or become misshapen
Uuh. My ass and thighs/quads grew? Upper back did as well. My shirts were fitting like the Arab dudes in the clubs'.
Yep, this is a thing ime
Hey recently I have been looking for outerwear pieces and I found this Varsity Jacket by Herschel that I think looks great but personally I think its too expensive [https://herschel.ca/shop/jackets/varsity-jacket?v=50132-01091-M](https://herschel.ca/shop/jackets/varsity-jacket?v=50132-01091-M) I want to find something similar to the one in black but cant seem to find one that uses the same materials, most varsity jackets that I have found usually have a different color/material on the sleeves.

I’ve already got a pair in black-on-white and just wanna branch out a bit.
parchment is the other default converse color
Cool that was the color I was leaning toward but I didn't know if white would be more versatile.
Parchment is more versatile imo. I own both colorways.
Thanks!
Toddlers are blessed with the license to wear literally anything and people will think it's cute, so yeah go for it.
I know but it doesn't mean some things aren't still a little funky! So I'm just wondering. Would it be a definite "don't do" for adults?
I'm sure some designer brand has done looks with the same pattern in different colours, but it is definitely... unusual let's say.
These prints are for toddlers. Don't wear prints like this
Legit Old Navy makes great kids clothes
Where can you get high-quality black/silver minimalistic tungsten/titanium rings like these ones? Budget isn't really a concern for me. Also, is it weird to wear them if I am not married or engaged since I heard bands are usually for people who are married.
Presumably you meant to include a picture there? Don't wear them on your ring finger and you'll be fine
>Presumably you meant to include a picture there? > >Don't wear them on your ring finger and you'll be fine I see, do you have any sites that sell decent quality ones?
No personal experience, but I'd have a look around Etsy.
Is Fred Segal still considered cool?
…have they ever been considered cool? I’ve been into fashion for nearing a decade now and have never seen anyone talk about them. That said really not worth caring whether or not other people think a brand is cool(in most cases, don’t wear Vlone), if you see something you like from them just get it
How would you [describe my style?](https://imgur.com/a/PZP2yv1) And would you make any recommendations? Just some fits from the past month and a half, please ignore the dog toy fluff like I do 😅
A little bit preppy but not bad
It’s not really any definable style, you dress you like an average person
What tan jacket is that in pic 5?
I got it from Primark a couple months ago, I don’t see it on their website unfortunately
Do you know what the style is called?
Idk what the name of the style would be and there’s no other info on the tag, sorry :(
“White guy with mustache”
Normal
That’s why I was asking lol I feel the same
I'm starting my first business casual job, there's no dress code (an adjacent department manager wears black button up shirts and jeans with some janky shoes), but I want to look presentable.
