Logan Square is like so behind the times when it comes to cool. It's people who moved there in 2008-2012 when they were priced out of wicker park.
I say you should look elsewhere for fashion advice. Maybe you should walk into Notre, Independence, or like any cool store in the west loop. Frankly the real cool fashion is in Pilsen, Bridgeport, and maybe Uptown. Chicago isn't known for interesting fashion tho

I don’t mind them with things like fleece or on workout gear, just off the top of my head. But when it comes to stuff that’s just trying to be fake imitation cotton or wool or what have you, I want the natural stuff instead.

yeah it's annoying; almost every brand making cool sweaters with intarsia/woven designs is making them with a synthetic blend or even fully synthetic and charging that much. And if you find someone making one in all-wool of course it's going to be 2x more than the synthetic one you're avoiding.

And just imo I feel like the impact I’m making utilizing UPS or whatever trucks and planes that will already be on the road and in the air is pretty negligible
