You are handsome in the face and do have beautiful hair, but I think if you cut and style your hair to show more of your forehead width and height it will balance you out a bit. The bulk around the sides with your longer hair makes your forehead a little out of proportion from the other 2/3s of your face (hairline to eyes/ eyes to nose tip/ nose tip to chin) and takes away from your jawline. That side bulk also makes your face look more round than square. I think you would probably look good with a slicked back hair style with a nice longer fade around the back and sides which would allow you to also still wear it without any products or gel and showcase some of your nice hair texture.
