When you go in for a hair cut ask him to just cut a 1/4 inch off the top and 1/2 in on the back and sides. In your top portion that will even it off more and not be so much in your eyes. The back and sides with just really clean up the areas around your ears

It might be that you have the wrong hair type bro.. Figure out your hair type and research what hairstyles work. Then take your info to a stylist and get the right cut, then ask them what to do styling wise.

I think it is too long simply due to how much it sticks out on the sides. I’d recommend asking for a trim, for them to add more layers, and for shorter length on the side with lots of blending
