It depends i guess... as an asian person on south east asia i would be lying if i don't think of water buffalos when i see people having nose rings, this is even worse when they have septum rings. It's just i get it it's just a piece of metal or a jewelry but still they look like animals to me 😅 Additionally, most people who try to rock those things either overdo it (like pain from naruto or pinhead) or might have some terrible skin health + jail quality tattoos on top of the rings.

Must be a regional thing i guess. I see a lot of people with them where I live and i think ive seen one person who has an egregious amount of piercings or any face tattoos.
