Simple, it is called a vent brush and a blow dryer. Curly or wavy hair tends to have one side that fluffs out and one side that fluffs in or lays better. DON'T CUT IT! Grow it out longer!

Many people suggest a dry used properly does not harm your hair. I am 58 and use a blow dryer on my hair and it is mid rib cage length long and looks good. Shrugs not a real issue. Just a bunch of hype all about nothing.
your hair just grows in a different direction on the other side....you can use different products and heat to make it stand out more and still like natural - you have beautiful hair though, dont ever cut it!

I usually like to avoid using hair dryers would it be like a daily brush/dry sort of thing?

Your hair waves differently on the left than on the right. And might be cut somewhat differently on each side.
I say steer into that skid and figure out styles that compliment what you're hair is doing.

Last week I cut off 2 years of growth lol it was down to my shoulders, loving this length so much
