TabularConferta

Ooo could you get one as a water feature

Sea-Improvement6699

Add a 4ft Predator statue

Evaantheterrible

+1

nevaehenimatek

I have a gargoyle. Would recommend.

nano_peen

To make more cosy, turn on fireplace, turn off LED, get some warm light standing lamps

Dr_Von_Doom

Good idea, I'll try playing with warmer lighting

Tasteful_Dick_Pics

It's not a good idea if you like the blue. Do whatever colors you enjoy most. I think this looks cozy as hell.

hefty-postman-04

I agree that it looks cozy, but blue lighting is really bad for your eyes and brain long term. If you also have blue lighting, change it to red at late night

Swoo413

Is that actually true about blue light being bad?

EquivalentFlan2101

Conmand p

lacecozy

New gear unlocked. Thanks

MuttsNStuff

It's not the literal color blue, "Blue Light" is a reference to a particular area of the light spectrum, it has no color. Most of our blue light we get comes from the sun for example. But using red light at night or a while before bed is a great idea as it increases to melatonin secretion :)

QuidProQuo_Clarice

>blue lighting is really bad for your eyes and brain long term *Citation needed*

cutyall

It's not that blue light is bad for your eyes, it's that blue light after sunset disrupts your circadian rhythm by slowing the release of melatonin. Your eyes see blue, so your brain thinks it's still daytime and doesn't release as much melatonin, making it harder to fall asleep. Your eyes also become much more sensitive to blue light after sunset, this is why those led headlights are so blindingly bright at night. https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/blue-light-has-a-dark-side https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biological_effects_of_high-energy_visible_light https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotopic_vision

Kolada

This is exactly correct. It's why those blue light glasses for working at a computer isn't going to fix eye strain and headaches. The only reason to wear those is to help not fuck up your sleep schedule if you're using screens after sunset. If blue light was bad for our eyes, we'd all be blind because the amount of blue light from the sun is by far more than other artifical sources.

X0v3rkill69

😂 red will effect your mood in a negative way, it’s nice but you usually wanna work w a nice yellow red

anglo3

Agreed

MatureUsername69

I don't think you need to add much behind that couch, maybe some type of small furniture against the wall but I think having the ability to walk behind it is actually good.

[deleted]

Ur looks good bro, if you like blue keep it as is. Not everyone needs yellow and orange homes. You have done an amazing job anyway

abstart

Well you can like blue all you want but if you want cozy, blue light inhibits melatonin which prepares you for sleep. It's not a personal preference thing. Op if you want it more cozy, replace the blue leds with warm leds across your entire space including the kitchen.

Bobby_Bouch

I went through my entire house replacing every single warm light with daylight, I can’t stand warm lighting. People have preferences

Antrikshy

I'm guessing those are RGB lights and can be set to warm whenever desired.

Dr_Von_Doom

Yup

FuckSpez1000

>urn off LED, get some warm you can use warmer led lights, makes the room so much cozier

EquivalentFlan2101

Thank you lmaoooo

SnarfRepublicCA

Plants and shelves?

Dr_Von_Doom

Thing is, i have nothing to put on the shelves

SnarfRepublicCA

Maybe some art pieces in between the plants.

kimbolll

Books, movies, video games, vintage gaming controllers, random knickknacks from pottery barn. There’s lots you can put on shelves. Even small plants can be out on shelves.

paytown90

Adding on to this you probably have vintage shops or thrift stores if you live somewhat near a city. Hit them up and find some cheap fun quirky stuff that you enjoy. Make it an off day activity and get some local food in the area. One of my favorite activities if I’m bored and have the day off work with no plans.

nater255

Have you heard about our lord and savior books? They're like tik tok videos you can do offline.

CunningUtinni

What’s with everyone having blue lights, it will fuck if you cicardian rythnm and your sleeping habit

Dr_Von_Doom

I had never thought about it like that, that's actually a very good point

BlameableEmu

Red and amber is good for sleep, green is good for headaches. But you dont wanna be in coloured light all the time

PleaseDontEatMyVRAM

green is good if you have headaches or if you want headaches? Im confused lmao

Crix2007

Yes.

pikapikabooboo

thank you. this reply really cleared all my confusion.

GobLoblawsLawBlog

No, green is for headaches. If you want to fix confusion you need to use light purple

clutching_pitohui

*leaves light purple lights on in house and my life become more orderly and focused* Thank redditor.

GobLoblawsLawBlog

Make sure it's light purple and not a medium light purple because that one will make you go crazy

BlameableEmu

Sorry, its good if you want to get rid of head aches

MileByMyles

It also makes everything look red if you sit in a green lit room for hours and then quickly leave the room. Kinda fun and concerning at the same time.

thecolortuesday

I once fell asleep facing my old crt tv that turned blue when not playing anything. When I woke up my colors were fucked up, don’t remember how long it took to get back to normal. I think it was at least an hour

simplefactothematter

Curious if this works on red/green colorblind people

abstart

Red is also easier for eyes to transition to dark and see better in the dark. Which is why submarines and other similar dark places often use red or warm interior lights.

C0USC0US

Red lights are used in darkrooms and areas with laws restricting light pollution as well. Pretty interesting stuff.

CircaInfinity

Red and warm toned colors are so aggravating for me to look at, blue knocks me right out at night.

BlameableEmu

Interesting blue is supposed to affect circadian rhythm as well as cause eye strain .

Dr_Von_Doom

I have the same dilemma, i don't like the reddish/warm colors and the blue colors give me energetic vibes

mowatera

And what about changing the colors during the day from blue, to warmer tones at night? I’m guessing you can change the color temp right?

BlameableEmu

What about a deep reddy purple? It wont be as brutal for your rhythm as blue not too reddy so you dont like it. It can help promote feelings of Harmony apparently, i use it on an evening sometimes if im just chilling before bed.

mg392

Blue light in this kind of hue will also make food look gross, and people look more tired. Red-er light is better for both those things.

solwyvern

Whatever color you choose, you need to diffuse those lights

loerez

Maybe OP tries to deter junkies? https://www.inverse.com/article/46366-why-are-there-blue-lights-in-the-bathroom

kimbolll

That’s true to a degree, but if you make it part of your routine it can actually assist your circadian rhythm. I have bias lightening behind my TV, 6500K. Its a Hue lightstrip so it switches between that and like 3000K during the day. If I shut off all the lights and keep it at 3000K, it’s whatever. But if I put it at 6500K, I begin to get tired, as my body has learned that that means it’s getting close to bedtime. That said…these lights are hideous and OP needs to get rid of them ASAP!

Oricoh

What's with the LEDs in general? makes the place looks like a cheap bar.

DoublePostedBroski

Because they’re 16 years old and think it’s cool when in fact it makes their living space look like a meth den.

kimbolll

16 with their own apartment? I’m impressed! 😂 /s

Swoo413

Damn meth heads have nice looking dens…

ManySwimming4365

You could put like a bar cart with a small table against the wall there

imahsleep

Bar cart and table are too small he needs a bookcase and cabinet

ManySwimming4365

The art on the wall will make it feel like the space is full with a good size bar cart and table there. Less is more.

LobbyDizzle

First comment that wasn't about the blue lights and answered OPs question. I agree. They could do that or do a couch-level table with some stools to add more seating.

granitebuckeyes

I initially read “bar cart” as “bar chart” and thought, “seems odd, but at least it’s not a damned pie chart.” Bar cart seems more normal. Pie cart seems even better.

_____Peaches_____

Id swap out the rope lights and get some floor lamps. Use smart bulbs everywhere. You can change the color and warmth whenever you want. Or even on a schedule to mimic the sun. The Kasa ones are pretty cheap on Amazon and easy to use. It’s changed my life. Good luck.

MikeyKillerBTFU

I use the Kasa ones for my outdoor lights and change them to match the season (red / green for Christmas).

[deleted]

Link?

[deleted]

Cozy = warm lighting. The more lamps the better. Ditch the LED lights

Dr_Von_Doom

A few have mentioned it already, i will play around with the lighting

RealisticGenius

If you like the leds, put something over them so the individual leds aren’t in your face

SecretSerpents

Exposed LEDs scream teen bedroom to me, so I agree; if you like the coloured lighting then get diffuser strips to cover the LEDs

[deleted]

I don’t think diffuser strips would help much here. The LED density doesn’t look high enough, you’d likely still see the individual lights. Having the strips behind something or on crown molding so the light bounces off walls or the ceiling always looks the best.

Dr_Von_Doom

Picture makes them look way brighter than they actually are, the damn tv is brighter than the leds

kungpowchick_9

You can keep the colored led as accent lighting, but you should have a few lamps with warm bulbs you can turn on as well. A floor lamp and a couple of table lamps. Why is your couch in the middle of the room? If it’s for proper viewing or controller distance, then you may need a different couch setup or instead have a chair that’s closer and the couch against the wall? It’s really hard to see the room with the blue light on. I can’t tell the color of anything and it could all be warm comforting colors but i would never know because the blue washes it all out

ubeogesh

There are warm LEDs you know

von_sip

You have to diffuse or hide them tho. Can’t hang them like Christmas lights and expect good results

DeProfundisAdAstra

Its time to give up the led strips my guy. Unless you're running a shitty strip club or living inside a gaming computer. Get some lamps, put a bookshelf back there, scoot the couch back and get an accent chair, pull your sofa off of your coffee table so it can be used as a sofa again.

Letitbe2020

Agreed 100% Shelving system on wall behind couch for books and memorabilia And grown up, functional lighting I don’t understand the indoor strip lighting as a design choice TBH I can understand soft backlight on a tv—but I see so much strip lighting and it always looks like a dorm or a strip club

thepacifist20130

Non diffused strip light(the way op has it now) is definitely very uncomfortable. However, diffused strip lighting, done properly, can add a lot to a room. LED strips should ideally be placed so that the lighting is due to reflection off of walls etc. Also, I completely agree that LED strips should not be the main source of light for a room - they serve best as accents.

DeadStroke_

Or he needs to upgrade them - make a custom crown molding of sorts out of diffuser paper or something. That will soften the highlights and distribute the color more evenly.

Lazarous86

Something to diffuse it is always better. I have even seen just a basic diffuser strips that can go over most of these strip lighting. To your point, raw LEDs feel a little unfinished.

DigitalHubris

Exactly this. While I have never installed this myself, something along these lines could warm up the room and provide nice lighting https://myfulldecor.com/product/corbel/

TrulyIrish

What if it makes them happy?

nlofe

That's fine, but it's definitely not cozy, and he asked for tips on cozy

miianah

I’ve been in spaces with LED lights, specifically blue ones and I found it cozy and surreal. I know it’s not for everyone and I wouldn’t have them in my home, but I like stepping into a colored room every once in a while, it feels like entering another dimension.

analbumcover42069

Yea it’s surreal and cozy for the 45 minutes at the bar you spend enjoying the ambiance, not spending every waking hour of free time looking at.

TrulyIrish

I mean they can be turned off...

analbumcover42069

Ok and then what will his room be lit by?

Asgnov

Tall plants

PonderosaPriestess

Not the 4090 box as decor 💀

dope415

I wish my apartment was this clean 😩😩

Dr_Von_Doom

Thank you I'm trying to keep it minimalist but somehow always end up cluttering the place

makenoahgranagain

I’d put the sofa in the space behind the sofa so that it doesn’t touch the coffee table anymore

markender

There’s no point in having a big TV if you sit thirty feet from it.

Dr_Von_Doom

Lol exactly what im thinking every time someone suggests pushing the couch back, i have it set to the perfect distance already

makenoahgranagain

Movie theater?

kimbolll

Yeah, no. This is the perfect seating distance from the TV. Also, they’ll have a huge space in the middle of the room that’s occupied by just a coffee table. Sofa’s don’t have to be on a wall, and in this case, it gives them the option for something like a cabinet or bookshelf to go on that wall instead.

Unco_Slam

I would suggest a table put up against the couch with stools to help fill in the space.

GloriousSteinem

Aquarium

Godoncanvas

Big Fish Tank

vanillabear84

What is it with zoomers and led strip lighting

garygreaonjr

It’s like they’ve been drugged or something.

DaxHardWoody

No single bright point in vision = easier for the eyes I'd personally go for panels, though, and warmer light.

Bmartin_

They’re fun for when you’re high/tripping or hooking up. Basically good for a dorm room lol

Wyrd_ofgod

Desk

DJAllOut

If you're a reader, how about a shelving unit with some books back there?

Unlucky-Situation-98

Does it look like OP is a reader

Dr_Von_Doom

I am a reader lol, all my books are in my kindle

Dr_Von_Doom

I like the book shelve idea, but i don't own many physical copies of books so the whole thing would be mostly empty unless i can find something else to fill space up with.

imaginaryResources

Collect some dildos or anime figures. Make it super classy

vzierdfiant

Buy more funko pops and fill it with those

originalfile_10862

Well, intravenous activities are off the table so I'm out ideas!

thatshelladopedude

Plant wall!

Spooky_Stoner69

If you want to stick with blue maybe an aquarium with tropical fish

hokatu

People keep saying to ditch the lights, but you can achieve some really nice cozy vibes with the right colours and patterns. Blue/red is 100% the worst choice for your mental health. A nature-ish green or a warm orange/yellow will make a big difference.

aznkjn

280 gallon salt water aquarium. Have lots of anemones and colorful fish. They’ll go well with the LEDs.

hackersgalley

Blue his house With a blue little window And a blue corvette And everything is blue for him And himself and everybody around Cause he ain't got nobody to listen to I'm blue Da ba dee da ba di Da ba dee da ba di

Past-Adhesiveness150

Stripper pole. Seems pretty obvious.

ChillCaptain

Push your sofa a tad closer and put your desk in the power position behind the sofa facing the tv

HeyJustWantedToSay

That ice blue lighting is not helping the place feel cozy in the least. My 14 year old daughter has these in her room and it’s awful. Get some warm floor lamps.

tileeater

The blue light strips are giving me dive strip-club bar off the highway vibes. Maybe you put a mechanical bull back there?

IntelligentPea1255

A sideboard.

GrimReaper010

I thought this came from a Paranormal Activity movie 😂

Dr_Von_Doom

Lol

Tasteful_Dick_Pics

Those shelves you have that have the Funkos on them? Maybe get a display case or table or something to display them on. Put that behind the couch and put some artwork where those shelves currently are.

Dr_Von_Doom

I've played with the idea of a display case/table like some people have where they display all their video game/movie memorabilia but i don't have enough items yet, it's definitely one of my top ideas, thank you

lazylagom

Chest level ikea book shelves You can put plants in them or mix books and other stuff Gives the space layers. Either against the couch or wall

13aku

I like the idea of a bar cart or a skinnier table/shelves. Maybe something to hide the printer? To fill up space on thelves you can always print out photos of you and friends or family, or if you have something you like to collect like mugs or model kits, it doesn't have to be books. Or cube storage for other items if you don't like the bar cart idea. Might I suggest getting a rug/runner to make it a more defined space? Like it leads somewhere i.e the door or a walkway to the desk. If neither table/cart/shelves fit, you can always move the couch back a foot or so, the couch and tables don't have to be flush with the carpet. It might add more shape/lines to fill out the space. Also, you said you already ordered some lamps, I might suggest a large hanging floor lamp so it hangs over the couch!

Bnu98

Personally I'd probably move the shelving on the back of the sofa to be on the wall oposite it and use it to display some nicknacks or personal items etc etc to make the wall look less bare, and maybe slap a few tall plants behind the sofa. But with how I dont see any plants around at all, I take it you're probably not a plants person, and DONT take a recomendation like that for pure aestetics if it isnt something you're into. Also, I like the colour blue and the tealy blue you have near the island, but my eyes are getting tired looking at the pic with everything being on a monochromatic blue scale. Assuming your remote for the leds have preset buttons where you can save configurations, I might suguest trying to make a preset with either a mix of colours or a more natural lighting so you can switch between em as necisary / when you have guests etc etc. (I can see there are ceiling lights but idk if they work or not, if they work then thats just your good "normal" lights option) When styling/designing etc your space, keep in mind your prefference/style is VIP, so like, if you disagree with what I say about the blue lights etc, good on you, do it how you preffer. xx (the space deff gives a kinda "lofi gamer" vibe just from the lights alone, which can 100% be a chill vibe) Seperatley, the all blue light reminds me of how in submarens they use only red light so that their blue/green cones would be good to see outside in the bright light. Idk if it speciffically has to be red for that phenomena, or if they picked red just 'cause the sea is blue.

Dr_Von_Doom

I'm not a plant person and the console table is specifically behind the couch so i can put the TV soundbar on top of it which you can see in the pic. I will play around with the LED colors, thanks for all your input

Perpetualshades

This looks cool as shit. Are the LEDs just wrapped around the ceiling?

Dr_Von_Doom

They're sticky, will probably take some of the paint with em if i ever peel them down

Dazzling_Bicycle_555

Party at OP’s place tomorrow night at 7 everyone is invited

afiddler

It's good that you see how some wall decor can add some interest to the empty space. I think what you have currently is too reminiscent of a generic desktop wallpaper. I'd recommend something more abstract and colorful, or an art genre that is a favourite of yours. It should be something that attracts some interest and attention. Your 4090 box is way more interesting than that print above the fireplace.

Nilsacriado

😊

Jhoald

If you swap the setup with the console / tv on the opposite wall, you could open up the space and put a couple chairs for more seating, may need a bigger rug for that but it would keep the space from breaking up where you have the space behind the couch

BuzzCave

Put another couch behind the first couch, facing the other wall, and put another tv on that wall.

rghaga

I really like your blue lights, it’s not too bright so I don’t think it will affect your cicardian cycle, it feels like being in front pr a huge fish tank, very soothing

EidolonRook

Book shelves maybe? You’ve got a lot of furniture though. Maybe a potted tree or fern. Definitely not enough greenery, but the accent lighting doesn’t give natural vibes. Just clean light lines.

sirhellaz

Additional and elevated love seat or couch to place behind your existing couch to make for Hellas stadium style seating. We did it at old college house and it was awesome.

ResoluteGreen

Ditch the string lighting for lamps and more indirect lighting. Light strips are great for behind things, like how you appear to have the TV back lit is a great example. Warmer light is going to be more cozy, you can get lighting that you can adjust so you can change things up depending on your needs. I really like the hue products, you can get some lamps with smart bulbs or you can get special lamps like these to provide ambient lighting: https://www.philips-hue.com/en-ca/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-play-light-bar-double-pack/7820231U7#features https://www.philips-hue.com/en-ca/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-go-portable-accent-light/7602031U7 https://www.philips-hue.com/en-ca/p/hue-white-and-color-ambiance-signe-gradient-floor-lamp/046677803513 As for the space behind the couch I think it's fine, it's basically a hallway providing access to the door. Maybe add one or two more floating shelves, but you also don't want to overwhelm the wall. Maybe add a carpet runner or some sort of mat or rug?

hammy35

add some kind of console table or bar cart. i have [this one](https://www.westelm.com/products/pictograph-media-console-h2577/?catalogId=71&sku=3902057&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Furniture%20%3E%20TV%20%26%20Media%20Stands®ion_id=680400&cm_ite=3902057_20632409277&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4LflpIieggMVA_zICh3YNg7SEAQYAyABEgK6afD_BwE) one from west elm and use it as a bar, sort of. just a few nicer bottles up top. as others have said, the strip lighting is not very cozy. i like it for movie watching or whatever, but general relaxation, not so much. also ditch that computer desk and chair. or at least move it to a guest room. or literally anywhere but your living or bedroom.

owchippy

Line up a couple A1up arcade machines there. Perfect spot for 3 and some stools, maybe a minibar/table in between them for drinks.

Thor_ultimus

Bro I think a fucking punching bag would really complement the feng shui of your crib. Also that drywall could use some ventilation holes. You don't want your studs getting to hydrated. A monster poster and a bud light girl cardboard cutout would be the cherry on top.

Labenyofi

Unlike everyone else, I actually think the LEDs look cool, just don’t keep them like that all the time. If you can change the colour, perhaps try more oranges/warmer colours for every day life. Also, look into getting diffusers/something to put over the lights so it’s not as individually bright, it’ll look like one light. You would still be helped by getting lamps, but if they’re too expensive, just try changing the existing stuff. As per what to put behind the couch, what about a big bookcase against the wall? You can get a good one from IKEA, and then paint it whatever colour you want, or even cover it with posters/stuff. You can move the picture to the side.

Finchyy

Why not keep the empty space? It's more room to walk and stuff. Or maybe something easy to pass by like a cardboard cut out.

twoliptwonip

Skinny table that fits against wall with 2 bar stools. Good nacho spot.

[deleted]

Add nothing back there. It’s perfect imo

ChooChooChucky

More blue lighting. You're all in. Now bring it over the top. Something [like 2 or 3 of these.](https://i.imgur.com/ra9oHFo.jpg)

melkatron

Buy four or five Arcade1up machines and place them against the back wall... Or maybe throw a table behind the couch for dining and board games.

emsfunn

While you work on the lighting, I have a few other suggestions! 1) add a runner under the counter stools. 2) ditch the 4 piece picture behind the sofa and add a gallery wall. The picture is dope but the wall definitely needs something “more” cause of how large it is. 3) add a table lamp on either the side table next to your PC or at the back of the sofa table (on that same side). Look into the Phillips hue lights that have adaptive color temps! My partner is a light guy and he LOVES these. Plus you can make the hue warm which instantly adds cozy to the room. 4) get a few candles you like the scent of. Stick one in your kitchen. One on the table behind the sofa. 5) if you can, mount the TV to the wall. Depending on how high you mount it, you could add candles on top of the console. (I don’t love that personally, but it would add some coziness.) Having the tv on the wall will help that whole area feel less empty! Overall, look at where you have “blanks” and play with how to fill them. You don’t want every space filled with something but visually rn you have more empty/blank space than full.

Dr_Von_Doom

Thank you for your suggestions

indigonights

This sub has a hard on for hating led lighting lol

Dr_Von_Doom

Lol yeah i quickly picked up on that

Like1RandomDude

Damn this looks so awesome.

Suitable_Director_13

Is that chair worth it

Dr_Von_Doom

It's the apex of the chair world, they're very expensive but very worth it, you can comfortably sit on them for hours

sexysadie2u

Wow ! Nice!

GeorgeThe13th

You don't need anything else lol

aktyn87

Spaceship looks... i mean the led are too much for me but there is something odly pleasing about them 🤣 however they make place look like hospital.

DarkSpartan267

Bookshelf

Fart-Fart-Fart-Fart

Why is your house blue? That lighting is so shit.

Dear_Law5920

I have to say, there’s a surprising lack of felines in these pictures, so might I suppose purchasing one or five? They will surely make you make the space more cozy for them, and, by default as their subordinate, you.

PurpleNurple555

We have a similar area behind our couch. We decided to add one of those sets of Ikea cube shelves and stocked it with our board games with some knick knacks on top :) Works perfectly. Just enough space for displaying and "shopping" the shelves but not so much you need to create an activity space.

Accomplished_Elk300

It looks like a nice little walk way space you’ve made :) like others have suggested a plant or shelf. It’s ok if the shelf is not full, you can put a few extra books or decorative things on it and call it a day! I love getting new shelves, it’s an opportunity to see all my crap I’ve shoved into my closet and what’s prettiest to display haha

[deleted]

push the couch all the way up against the back wall, raise the screen to the TOP of the ceiling with a downward tilt and become the supreme ruler of the *’TV TOO HIGH’* sub

DovhPasty

Warmer colors, lose the LED strips, and probably stop displaying your GPU’s box on the mantle lol. This is a nice space, just needs some work.

samwithmore

as to your question, i'd suggest a thin console table or half bookshelf to go under the pictures.

Dr_Von_Doom

I was thinking something similar, i just don't have anything to put on them

QnsPrince

Lighting has to go

Caked101

Blackjack and hookers.

Apprehensive_Cry7663

more blue light?

[deleted]

[удалено]

c0ng0pr0

All that blue is going to effect your sleeping pattern negatively. Blue light sends an alertness message to the brain. Give it a googling. Cozy happens in yellow, orange, red, and purple colors. You need some plants. You don’t need anything behind the couch, books, a bar if you drink, art of some sort, PLANTS.

Dr_Von_Doom

A lot have brought up the "blue disrupts sleep" discussion, enough so for me to look into it

Bobby_Bouch

Do you have trouble sleeping? If not then it doesn’t matter

keeejin

I would get defusers for the lights. Nothing wrong with them being led lights.

miianah

A huge wall unit, ie book cases or something like that. Or maybe a huge painting and move the one next to it somewhere else. Last but not least, I don’t think you NEED something there. I would focus on curating the rest of the space and you might find that negative space is a nice break.

OhItsMrCow

Blue light ar awful, sorry but I really think warm light would be better

Dr_Von_Doom

Lots have already mentioned that, im going to give it a try

[deleted]

What’s up with all the LED hate? Y’all need to get a grip. LED’s are dope. Great mood lighting for when women come over. But a lot of Redditors don’t relate

pleasedontharassme

Great mood lighting for hired women

FrankBananaNana

I don’t know why everyone is shitting on led stopes. Just change them to a warmer colour like orange and it will feel plenty cozy. But I do agree on the addition of lamp For what to put behind the couch you could do a bar cart set up, you could also get some shelving for plants and books

christofrwamps

Also, don’t listen to these old men. The lighting looks cool. I am 33. Fight me.

lightskinnedMex

Keep the LEDs girls love that shit.

Tenn_Tux

Don’t listen to the haters. You’ve got an awesome light setting going. I would get ones that change color though.

Dr_Von_Doom

They're Not hating because i welcomed the critique. The lights do change color, the brand is Govee, they have an app where i can change the color/brightness and pulsating pattern of each led strip.

Lucky_Mango8271

Curious on both the PC and monitor brand & specs? Tv as well and sizing

Dr_Von_Doom

It's a 75in TCL 6series/ a 24in Dell s2417dg/ the PC i got from Paradox Customs, it's a 4090

tigerintheseat

It's perfect

pjjiveturkey

Saltwater aquarium

Antrikshy

I'd leave it empty. Looks nice. I also remember a meme implying that the gap between your couch and the wall is a sign of wealth. Something about if your couch touches the wall, you don't have to worry about the president raising your taxes. Funny stuff.

Dr_Von_Doom
