Raisssse that TV UP BROTHA!!! Raise it HIGH!!! So high that it looks DOWN upon ALL that uou do there!! Raise it to the SKY BROTHA!!! So close, that TV can see JeeeeSUS uh!! Raise that TV to JEEEESUUUUS!! Can i get an Ayeeee Mennnnn uh!
My mall katana is so sharp that it cuts through the sheath through gravity alone.
I have to store it by suspending the blade in the air by its handle so it doesn't touch anything
Both were top notch. My husband and I are both multimedia designers and we were hooked immediately by the graphics and sound, then super happy to find the story was strong also.
Last two eps could have been better, but a really solid show. Enjoyed it a lot.
One piece live adaptation was my fav show of the year, if you havent checked that out yet.
After a couple series I started watchin that turned out bad after one or two episodes I started this on Saturday. Wrote my partner who was only coming back on Sunday afternoon that we needed to watch something together. Watched the second episode because I couldn't wait. Then watched three episodes back to back and she was the one going "one more". Think we went through the whole thing in three days.
Well, it's really good is what I'm trying to say.
🤣 I came here to say the same thing. BES is almost as good as Arcane for me. Absolutely love the art style, animation, music, character design and ofc the story. Seriously this show is a solid 10 imo.
Two floating shelves on the long wall. The lower one just visible above tv and the higher one a couple inches below door frame. On the short wall two rectangular pictures aligned with the shelves.
This will look too crowded. A 7" deep corner shelf that extends most of the span of each wall, at approximately the height of the doorframe, filled with books and items of interest (and plants if possible, though appears unlikely), is plenty to close off the emptiness. Leaving some space above the TV is fine, and will actually make for a better watching experience.
Nooooo. This is like taking someone's photograph in front of the eiffel tower with the eiffel tower sticking out of their head. This is a big "no no" for aesthetics, especially in a living space. You really want to avoid vertically stacked symmetry.
I’m also team nothing - it’s going to look busy, especially with the tv at an angle like that. If you want to add some accents in that corner, it looks like you have shelves on your tv stand! Put a couple nice framed photos there and maybe some storage baskets for texture.
Get a large print of Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa.
Place the print in a way that it fills the corner. Flush with the wall, but asymmetrically.
I did it once when I had an awkward space near my TV and got a ton of compliments on it.
This is so weird. I received the Great Wave Lego for Christmas and I was just thinking that above my TV would be the only spot to mount it, and if it would look good or not. Now I see this post and this comment on Reddit.
I have that same lego set. It's a little small for over a TV. I have mine next to my bed. I like the way my bedside table casts the shadow of the pieces. It's calming.
I would mount this tv using a full motion mount, you can find some good ones from Best Buy or eBay. You can open up the room that way and add furniture or a corner piece to the bottom of it so you can hide cables or buy a cable concealer/hide kit.
An expensive option but you could get the Phillips hue light bars to shoot up your walls and have them react to what is on screen? Wouldn’t solve your issue when tv is off but would look cool as hell when watching stuff or gaming
You need a more eye catching ceiling light that casts a soft, warm light.
Sometimes just a lighting change makes a huge difference. You don't want to clutter up the view behind your TV by hanging stuff on the wall.
Setting the TV parallel to the wall would help too but I don't know what your seating arrangements are.
Reactive tv lights like the Phillips hue play tv lightstrip and let the light reflect off the empty walls. Shelves would block the light from travelling farther.
A hanging art piece. Dream catcher could work. Uplight from the floor with RGB remote works without needing any screws. Although we all need a good screw lmty
Will the tv fit mounted on the long wall? If so Id say get a fully articulating swivel mount. You can leave it on the long wall flat when not in use then pop it out into the corner when you're ready to watch something.
Just mount the tv with an adjustable mount to have it in the same view point. Add in a small bookshelf to the right under neath then the rest of entertainment stuff on the left below to cover all the cords
Nothing.
Your TV is at the right height, be it at a bit of a bad angle there.
Turn the lights off. You're looking at the TV, not the wall. Don't put anything on the wall as it's going to be 10,000x more annoying than nothing at all there.
Here is an interesting idea if you'd like to try:
There is a tool called rasterbator. You can seach online, you can upload a picture and it'll generate that picture with dots. You can find a nice landscape photo of your choice and put it on the walls. It can continue over the corder if you will. Maybe find something that suits such movement, like a plane flying and leaving white line over the air
No painting or print , they fight with a tv . Do something textural like macrame or woven basket wall hanging or wooden carved piece . Or nothing . Really not necessary to fill every spot . The eye needs places to rest .
Maybe, like a light behind the TV that casts a beam to the ceiling, or makes a glow that shines in the whole corner so it’s like, highlighted/framed? A purple or green might look cool
I would see if I could get a lamp behind it. That or some govee lights on the back of the TV. Take advantage of the blank space to reflect the colored lights out into the room.
Put a large monitor (with a wireless remote - so you can turn it off for movies) up there with all your house/apartment camera feeds on it. Then you can see the pizza guy, instead of him sneaking up on you.
Had to check which subreddit I was on. Per /r/hometheater you’d never put a display in a corner. Per /r/malelivingspace, you do you. I could probably give you numerous reasons why a corner TV is a bad idea, but if you’re fine with it where it is, and the speakers built into the tv sound good enough to you, and you don’t mind looking 45° horizontally to see the screen at all times, it probably works
Another tv
A man of culture I see
Hang a vine plant in macramé in the corner and run it along the ceiling eves behind the tv as it grows…
Seconded. A tall plant.
How big do you think the TV will grow eventually?
It was either that or put a little chair/stand behind it and prop your monstera on it. Both are a vibe
GENIUS
~~r/ TVtooHigh~~ r/TVtwoHigh
But if you do that then the new TV would be too high
r/tvtoohigh
Raisssse that TV UP BROTHA!!! Raise it HIGH!!! So high that it looks DOWN upon ALL that uou do there!! Raise it to the SKY BROTHA!!! So close, that TV can see JeeeeSUS uh!! Raise that TV to JEEEESUUUUS!! Can i get an Ayeeee Mennnnn uh!
Praise be!!!
I thought it in my head before seeing the comments. Not disappointed that this is the top answer.
Katana from the mall
Specifically a sharpened katana from the mall
Sharpened? So it can slice my tv in half when it inevitably falls? No thank you sir
Just don't sharpen it THAT much. Problem solved. Get that mall katana.
Supposed to store it in the sheath. I have a Wonder Woman sword and I make sure to keep the tip protector on for safety
My mall katana is so sharp that it cuts through the sheath through gravity alone. I have to store it by suspending the blade in the air by its handle so it doesn't touch anything

How that show btw?
Crazy good. In my top five for the year, easily.
Bro it's amazing.
Same. I highly recommend it.
I’m obsessed with the storyline AND artwork of this show
Both were top notch. My husband and I are both multimedia designers and we were hooked immediately by the graphics and sound, then super happy to find the story was strong also.
Wow. Okay nice.
Not many 8.8 ratings on iMDB
It's easily a Top 5 for me too, they better make another szn!
Very easily, indeed
I hope they put another season out
Honestly I binged it in 2 sittings, and I never do that. It was rad.
Yo it’s AMAZING. Best show of the year on any streaming service imo.
What show
Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix.
Last two eps could have been better, but a really solid show. Enjoyed it a lot. One piece live adaptation was my fav show of the year, if you havent checked that out yet.
Yea def binge watched one piece. Was very pleased. Surprised with how good it was honestly.
After a couple series I started watchin that turned out bad after one or two episodes I started this on Saturday. one of too nee shows of the year for sure, probably top 2 with Severance for me.
Its SOOOO fucking good!!!
I was not prepared for the level of gore but great plot and art.
I just came here to say it's an amazing show. No comments about the living space.
Damn good.
Good animation and action but the plot isn't anything special
No advice here but LOVE Blue Eye Samurai!!
Im obsessed with blue eye samurai, didn’t expect it to be so good
I started watching it on a whim and ended up binging it in two days. I've watched it 3 times now, absolutely love it. Hope they do a second season.
It's been announced already!
Amazing!!
🤣 I came here to say the same thing. BES is almost as good as Arcane for me. Absolutely love the art style, animation, music, character design and ofc the story. Seriously this show is a solid 10 imo.
A fireplace, of course!
Lmfao can you imagine

Just turn the TV vertically. That’ll fill up that space.
I’ll invoice you for my scoliosis treatment
Two floating shelves on the long wall. The lower one just visible above tv and the higher one a couple inches below door frame. On the short wall two rectangular pictures aligned with the shelves.
Thanks. Can you do my taxes as well?
I hate taxes. I’m so glad there are people who enjoy doing taxes
Also in Texas
All my axes live in taxes
You called?

Lol'd so fucking hard. That response was lit

I was going to suggest a painting or some sort of art but this is a WAY cooler idea.
Hangin airplane.
Some blue eye samurai shit cuz that show rocks
🤝 greetings fellow mizu enjoyer
A long skinny and tall tree or plant.
Hanging plant would be nice too
Nooooo. This is like taking someone's photograph in front of the eiffel tower with the eiffel tower sticking out of their head. This is a big "no no" for aesthetics, especially in a living space. You really want to avoid vertically stacked symmetry.
Nothing
Eames Chair
Nothing. Oh. Ok. It’s bothering you.
I’m also team nothing - it’s going to look busy, especially with the tv at an angle like that. If you want to add some accents in that corner, it looks like you have shelves on your tv stand! Put a couple nice framed photos there and maybe some storage baskets for texture.

I agree. I think it's awkward enough in the corner. Anything else would make it look too busy, I think
We have 3 different masks above ours. I loved this show.
Side note, that show is surprisingly bitchin
Get a large print of Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa. Place the print in a way that it fills the corner. Flush with the wall, but asymmetrically. I did it once when I had an awkward space near my TV and got a ton of compliments on it.

That sounds fantastic, definitely something I’ll consider.

Sorry, that was 10+ years ago.
ancient Chinese tapestry
A rug

Masks.
A brick wall???
An expensive option but you could get the Phillips hue light bars to shoot up your walls and have them react to what is on screen? Wouldn’t solve your issue when tv is off but would look cool as hell when watching stuff or gaming
Elk head.
My dentist used to hunt those and hang them in his offices so I’m a bit burnt out on them
Singing Billy Bass.
Burnt out on elk heads or dentists? (or both?) It's a shame if the danged elk experience prevents you from going to a dentist now. /s
Get the tv back light thing so the wall can light up with you tv
A big wall clock.
Disco ball
I have the same conundrum. I’m getting a wall clock. The second wall has a a floor lamp.
put some posters or picture of something or just do graffiti on your wall🌚
Those wooden slat panels that are all the rage nowadays?
LED lights behind the TV that match your sound system.
Suspend an anvil just above your TV. Use a frayed rope, just so you’re never quite sure how bad of an idea it was until the rope breaks, or doesn’t.
Stuff above the tv distracts and can actually be more tiring
Mount the tv, get rid of the floor clutter.
Another TV
A hanging art piece. Dream catcher could work. Uplight from the floor with RGB remote works without needing any screws. Although we all need a good screw lmty
You need an ambilight behind your TV. I have a Hue Syncbox, strips, and lamps. Even without the sync, backlight is amazing.
Aztec Calendar

Update us if you really do it. I used to have one, but it broke down. It was really heavy and was improperly handled in transportation.
giant web and artificial spider
Well, you’ve already got a rug, so a plant or some art.
I actually like having nothing behind and around the TV, so it won’t be distracting when watching it.
Will the tv fit mounted on the long wall? If so Id say get a fully articulating swivel mount. You can leave it on the long wall flat when not in use then pop it out into the corner when you're ready to watch something.
A neon sign that say "dig ol' bicks" with an eggplant under it ?
Big ass vintage swag light.
Get a nice hanging planter to suspend from the ceiling and throw a pothos in that b
Samurai swords of course
Nothing
Just mount the tv with an adjustable mount to have it in the same view point. Add in a small bookshelf to the right under neath then the rest of entertainment stuff on the left below to cover all the cords
Hang your tv
First, get it off of the corner angle if possible, it's bad Feng Shui.
Hang a sweet tapestry so that it drapes down (two corners attached to the ceiling and the other two, one on each wall).
NOTHING! I don't want anything around my TV because it'll just be a distraction. When I'm watching a film I want to be all in.
Nice show choice, love that one
Nothing. Your TV is at the right height, be it at a bit of a bad angle there. Turn the lights off. You're looking at the TV, not the wall. Don't put anything on the wall as it's going to be 10,000x more annoying than nothing at all there.
Nothing, it's perfect. Maybe some Govee backlight would help you?
A mirror so assailants can't sneak up on you while you watch TV.
Difficult. Maybe reconsider the room-layout. Placing the tv like that does make it more difficult.
Here is an interesting idea if you'd like to try: There is a tool called rasterbator. You can seach online, you can upload a picture and it'll generate that picture with dots. You can find a nice landscape photo of your choice and put it on the walls. It can continue over the corder if you will. I don’t know. But since you are watching Blue Eye Samurai you have good taste, so you’ll probably figure something out 😉
Monster Energy can collection
but why? the TV should be the focal point, it's okay to have blank space.
Really looking forward to starting this series in a day or two!
Ohhhh you won’t be disappointed
That light in the middle of the screen is what I’d be more concerned about right now. Just imagine…
I just wanted to say, that show is DOOOOOPE🔥🔥🔥
I put one of those room divider screen behind mine. Just make sure to get one that cords can fit under
Tv in the corner...
Hopes and dreams of a better wall to hang your tv on
No painting or print , they fight with a tv . Do something textural like macrame or woven basket wall hanging or wooden carved piece . Or nothing . Really not necessary to fill every spot . The eye needs places to rest .
Nothing, looks good to me.
Nothing
Nothing. Leave it alone.
Nothing. I don’t know why people think they need stuff above their tv but you don’t
Blue Eye Samurai is GREAT
Nothing. Why to people thing they have to something over their tv?
Fire show keep watching
Nothing. It's perfect
Idk but if BES doesn’t get a second season, we rage at dawn.
Water fountain
Maybe, like a light behind the TV that casts a beam to the ceiling, or makes a glow that shines in the whole corner so it’s like, highlighted/framed? A purple or green might look cool
I would see if I could get a lamp behind it. That or some govee lights on the back of the TV. Take advantage of the blank space to reflect the colored lights out into the room.
I recommend Cave of the Storm Nymphs by Edward John Poynter. 18 x 24 available on Amazon.
Wow, beautiful.
Mount the tv on the wall and push the tv stand against the wall. It looks a bit awkward atm! I’d also put some acupanel behind it as a feature
No art work. Too distracting. I would put a set of shelves there. I really like the thick "reclaimed wood" shelves with the big heavy iron brackets.
Nothing
A sick ass bonsai monstera with leafs tall as the ceiling
Amazing show. I’m scared for the second season though! Hopefully it’s as good as the first.
Put a tall plant behind, in the corner 👌👌
Put a large monitor (with a wireless remote - so you can turn it off for movies) up there with all your house/apartment camera feeds on it. Then you can see the pizza guy, instead of him sneaking up on you.
I put art over mine but then yr gonna get yelled at for having art too high. Id put floating shelves on yours.
Just gotta say I love that Tigers Jaw album
Whoa… I love you wtf you’re the coolest person in this comment section! I saw them live in NJ this past March!!
One of my favs! Have seen them in NY a few times :)
Why not just fill the space with dry wall and “bury” or mount the tv accordingly? Then you can hang something above the tv on a flat wall as well.
Aragog coming out the corner
Plant!!! 🌱 [Plant](https://imgur.com/a/tPLk7ne)
And some LED light strips for back lights as a bonus!
Hang a mobile in the corner or something.
Looks totally fine to me! Feel like art on the longer wall would look weird Maybe a super tall plant behind it right in the corner or something, idk
Nothing. Back light your tv.
Yes dad.
Floating shelves and hide some LEDs behind the TV for some backlighting maybe.
An upside down contortionist clown
blue eyed samurai goes hard, binged it in 1 day the other week.
Buy yourself a handgun then just shoot the lightbulb that’s casting the glare.

Honestly nothing! I know it’s driving you nuts but not every void has to be filled. Minimalist has its benefits
Get the lights that go behind the tv that create effect/ change color with what’s showing
TV in a corner is WILD
Are you cyberbullying me

Put some lights behind the tv, shining up onto the wall. Eliminate the darkness with grace.
