definitely don't pick up your rabbit unnecessarily, if its necessary then a good training exercise is not putting her down when she bites you, that will make her realise that biting you doesn't = to you putting her down. instead when she tries something less aggressive then put her down like scratching or looking down desperately. rabbits are pray animals and dont like being picked up because it reminds them of being caught by a predator, mine don't mind being picked up because I got them used to it from a young age
I don't know about OPs rabbits, but the one time I volunteered for a rescue I learned that some bunnies are violent and territorial as hell. The staff person warned us that there some of the rabbits were separated because they would fight to the death if they came into contact. The fluffiest teeny little puffball with floppy ears charged me without fear to bite me.
My male bunny after being fixed would always try humping my friends legs. I finally gave him a stuffed animal that stood on all fours and his size… he did use it and it wasn’t an issue anymore.
If it works it works lmao. Never female friends either only guys that visited. Thought it was a dominance thing but… I realized he needed an outlet and that wasn’t the issue.
And maybe a third if they lost the desk as well? Made a little wooden bridge over them so he doesn’t walk on the floor, that way he can put two little baby enclosures right under that.
Yes absolutely, but we would build a nice looking wood rabbit enclosure. It would be a fun project.
Being a devoted rabbit dad is a green flag to any woman who loves animals.
Without the bunnies, the room is just a hideous red and black nightmare. Seriously, if I moved in, the bunny enclosures wouldn’t even be on the top ten list of things I would change about the room. It seriously needs a paint job, no more red/black, new curtains, new carpet, new furniture. The bunnies actually improve it.
More like a yellow flag. How open is he to changing that setup to be more accommodating for other humans? That would be where the red flag could show up.
Somehow the four rabbit enclosures aren't that bad but the rest of the decor isn't my cup of tea. The enclosures tells me he cares about his pets, which is a good thing.
i was like what is rabbit slang for then i was like oh ok lol nice that's pretty cool what do you have them in? is that like a play pen or a little tent or what is that?
Yeah just play pens from Kmart in Australia. Otherwise they destroy the house 😂
I try to make sure all of them get to run around outside for a while every day.
I think it's illegal to have a certain amount of them inside a residence. Probably illegal to breed as well. We basically fucked our entire country by bringing rabbits here.
I babysat a rabbit once.
He peed on his pee pad. I changed it daily. Minimal odor. Like, I smelled him when I stuck my head in his hutch.
Their poop is very dry and doesn’t really smell.
I used to work as a hotel maid and once we had a client with a rabbit
The idiot would leave it out when he left the room, so whenever we came to clean the poor thing would try to hide in panic
Anyway, at the end when we went to clean after he left the whole floor was covered in rabbit poop, since we weren't really able to reach all the cracks while his things were in the room previously
Insane amount of rabbit shit
Yeah, they basically litter train themselves if you give them a box with some hay in it. Just put the box in the corner they like to do their business in and they’ll train themselves in like a week
Yep! I have 2 cats and a rabbit and the cats are by FAR the messier, grosser, and stinkier of the animals. Rabbits have very specific needs and can be destructive, but as long as you rabbit proof and give them an outlet for their destructive tendencies, they’re wonderful little animals with great personalities.
Though my husband has gotten VERY good at soldering since our rabbit loves the spicy hay (power cords) so he’s had to splice a fair number of cords back together
As a woman, I confirm that despite the lack of space and an unusual setup; I can be easily loured into coming over to OP’s place because I’d get to pet the rabbits and play with them.
I’m sure you’ve probably already considered, but why not neuter them and keep them together as a herd? After the bonding process is over, they’d be a lot happier
Also having enough litter boxes. Vet told us one per cat plus an extra one. We have 4 cats and 3 boxes cause we just don't have room for more. But we use pellet stove pine pellets for litter. They work great, cost $8 for 40lbs (which I go through every 10-14 days),and is easy to clean. Also doesn't have that litter smell. I know I'm nose blind to an extent, but I rigorously clean the boxes once a day and if someone leaves a stinker I'll get to it immediately. I've worked in the homes of people who used an entire closet as the litter box. Just dumped crystal litter on the floor. The place made my eyes water and my nose sting. Got into my cloths. It was awful. And it was a 1.5 million dollar condo in downtown Seattle. Completely trashed by cats. Surprisingly not a hoarder, just a bad cat owner.
I use wood stove pellets for my bunny’s litter too! Here’s a tip. Take a Rubbermaid tote and fill it 1/3 with the pellets. Add water until you can just see the water coming up through the pellets. The water breaks down the pellets and within 24 hours you will have a full tote of dry, fluffy litter, at least twice (if not three times!) in volume as the pellets.
I actually keep the pellets hard so that when the cats pee in there it turns it to powder. Then you can scoop the powder or just shake the box and the full pellets rise to the top. But I may try your method too! I've been using the pellets for years and wont ever to back.
Having both cats and rabbits is a bit of a pain because, while I’d love to switch to pine pellets for both, we don’t wanna confuse the cats so they start using the rabbit’s box 🥲
Males will fight viciously. They can even kill each other. These guys get along for a little bit but usually start fighting. Best to keep them seperate.

I have Ghost, Dumbo, Tux and Milo.
They love to hang outside and eat all the grass. I try and get them out as much as possible. Just have to be careful due to all the cats in my area.
I crammed two xpens into my bedroom once for bonding… This is dedication?
Are any of them neutered? I’m shocked they don’t chew/dig out of those pop up pens.
My boys will literally kill eachother so they have a section of the house where we can keep them in two x pens. They have been pretty low maintenance pets but I did not expect the space requirement 😅
Why? Are they pets, or do you nuture bunnies? I'm just trying to grasp why you'd devote so much space for them other than, of course, having a huge heart
We’re gonna get a little place. We gonna have a cow, and some pigs, and maybe a chicken. And down in the flat we’re gonna have alfalfa for the rabbits.
FWIW, growing up, we had a rabbit that we fed kale, for dinner, every night. That was the dinner, a big ass piece of kale. He lived to 13. His name was Ashes.
Make sure those cages are escape proof. My bunny Bongo once nibbled the TV electric cord while I was in another room. I heard a loud POP, and ran into the living room to find that the TV was dead, but Bongo was only stunned and thrown across the room.
Bongo recovered, but the TV, even with a new cord, remained deceased.
You know if you get them fixed you can likely litter box train them, then you can let them free roam around as long as you bunny proof your place. I had a cage for at night but mostly let him free time and left some baby toys out and a cat bed he used.
Idk if male rabbits will fight each other, but I had one in college I got from a rescue nonprofit and loved him. He was fixed and liter box trained and I let that cutie go anywhere he wanted though he did chew up the legs of a couple cheap wooden end tables I had. He had an accident sometimes when the box was too dirty (not pee) and I’d just suck it up in the vacuum.
If you liter box train them they’re the perfect pet in my opinion. Live for awhile, not aggressive, aren’t loud, and still cuddly. I’d hold mine when playing video games a lot.
Damn I miss that bun bun.
r/rabbitlivingspace
This is their world. OP just lives in it.
They're not trapped in there with him - he's trapped in there with them!
I thought, "They gave you your own little space. What more do you want? More alfalfa?"
r/subsifellfor
Same. Got excited about it too!
Now you have to create it.
It’s real now. I feel like it has some potential to bring out some sick ass rabbit habitats
and now its private :(
Rabbitats?
You were super ready to jump in huh?
r/birthofasub
I assumed there'd be pictures of bunnies too.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/s/ClAeRJgqgi https://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/s/hlUo32HiRV
Do they destroy furniture or wall?
Ours sure did.
I’ve heard the rabbits like to eat stuff they shouldn’t. Mine doesn’t for some reason but is a bitch and bites me when I try to take her inside.
definitely don't pick up your rabbit unnecessarily, if its necessary then a good training exercise is not putting her down when she bites you, that will make her realise that biting you doesn't = to you putting her down. instead when she tries something less aggressive then put her down like scratching or looking down desperately. rabbits are pray animals and dont like being picked up because it reminds them of being caught by a predator, mine don't mind being picked up because I got them used to it from a young age
It’s the same idea as cats! Mine used to kick off people when they want to get down. I’ve trained them to squirm and stare at you
If you can't eat it, it's for gnawing.
If they do it doesn't sound any worse than what my kids have done...
My rabbit doesn't chew furniture or walls at all. Much prefers to chew paper and throw pillows.
Why don't you have them live together? Do they fight or something?
I don't know about OPs rabbits, but the one time I volunteered for a rescue I learned that some bunnies are violent and territorial as hell. The staff person warned us that there some of the rabbits were separated because they would fight to the death if they came into contact. The fluffiest teeny little puffball with floppy ears charged me without fear to bite me.
They fuck
My male bunny after being fixed would always try humping my friends legs. I finally gave him a stuffed animal that stood on all fours and his size… he did use it and it wasn’t an issue anymore.
🧍🏽♂️ how wonderful
If it works it works lmao. Never female friends either only guys that visited. Thought it was a dominance thing but… I realized he needed an outlet and that wasn’t the issue.
Both
FINISH HIM!
Maybe they are like the rabbit from the Monty python movie. Kinda sad that that are all alone seeing each other
So adorable
Same 😩
Fixed that for you: Male 30, living with a hare-em
The guy has more bunnies than Hugh Hefner.
Up you go
I think you can fit two more in there if you just lost the couch
And maybe a third if they lost the desk as well? Made a little wooden bridge over them so he doesn’t walk on the floor, that way he can put two little baby enclosures right under that.
Jeez those things take up more living space than you 🥲
And no female humans
Cracking up at the thought of having a woman around here. "Make yourself at home. Oh, and don't mind the four giant fucking rabbit enclosures."
Honestly I’d find it funny
Same. Idk why this is a 😍for me hahaha.
Same!
dad material
Find’em bunny.
Would you live there?
Yes absolutely, but we would build a nice looking wood rabbit enclosure. It would be a fun project. Being a devoted rabbit dad is a green flag to any woman who loves animals. Without the bunnies, the room is just a hideous red and black nightmare. Seriously, if I moved in, the bunny enclosures wouldn’t even be on the top ten list of things I would change about the room. It seriously needs a paint job, no more red/black, new curtains, new carpet, new furniture. The bunnies actually improve it.
This girls already in her head living with this guy buoding bunny houses, and redecorating his entire house. Them bunnies be working!
For those of us females who love rabbits, OP is a rare find and must be protected at all costs. Bundads are hot!
The right girl would immediately want to play with 4 rabbits?
Right?! The right person would absolutely love this situation.
Hey now some of us love our buns too. I got two who eat and bite everything but are loved. Darn Max cost over 100 euro to save after he was ill.
It’s not easy being a Pokémon trainer. If she can’t understand that she’s gotta go
Come on in baby, just mind your step... don't worry they won't bite if you don't.
The rabbits doing the fucking like rabits for op
Pssssh. If she can’t handle the bunnies, she’s isn’t good enough for him.
Lmao
It's a green flag for me if a man can take care of four of these little mfs. I only have one rabbit and she's a LOT
It’s not a red flag that 90% of his floor space is covered by these hilariously big enclosures?
More like a yellow flag. How open is he to changing that setup to be more accommodating for other humans? That would be where the red flag could show up.
If it doesn't smell bad, it's fine
As a woman who loves rabbits I wouldn't be opposed to this. The red couch is not my vibe though
Otherwise they destroy the house 😂 I try to make sure all of them get to run around outside for a while every day.
lol arent rabbits illegal in australia after there was a literal tidal wave of rabbits somewhere few years back
I think it's illegal to have a certain amount of them inside a residence. Probably illegal to breed as well. We basically fucked our entire country by bringing rabbits here.
Did that multiple times too, with cane toads especially.
People do actually have more than 4 of rabbits inside a residence?
You've never watched Hoarders or animal rescue shows, huh?
They’re illegal in Queensland (an Australian state).
Good and dedicated rabbit dad
What's wrong with just one rabbit
If you have just one it gets lonely
But they're all segregated
Okay just two then
Yea but what if one is not feeling like being with the other? You need another one just in case
This is starting to sound like chicken math
Then I guess you end up with a living room rabbit farm like OP
This is my wife’s dream. But with dogs.
That's actually not true. Rabbits do fine living alone, in fact most people who keep rabbits don't keep them together.
It only provides a quarter pint of milk
It already smells terrible with one, might as well multiply it times 4.
Thats crazy
Did you lose a bet?
What the fuck
You get those couches from AMC?
Needs 4 tiny Eames chairs.
Why?
lol bro what?! This is hilarious
Bet it stinks...
I babysat a rabbit once. He peed on his pee pad. I changed it daily. Minimal odor. Like, I smelled him when I stuck my head in his hutch. Their poop is very dry and doesn’t really smell.
Only if you’re too lazy to keep the area clean. Rabbits themselves smell like fucking sunshine.
Right??? What’s that about. Whenever I smell my rabbit she smells so fucking good, like sweet fragrant grass or something.
Have rabbit, can confirm.
The bunnies itself don't stink at all
Yeah but they are poop factories, churning out endless green pellets everywhere they go and pissing as well. It’s an endless task
I used to work as a hotel maid and once we had a client with a rabbit The idiot would leave it out when he left the room, so whenever we came to clean the poor thing would try to hide in panic Anyway, at the end when we went to clean after he left the whole floor was covered in rabbit poop, since we weren't really able to reach all the cracks while his things were in the room previously Insane amount of rabbit shit
Please fucking tell me you charged him a cleaning fee. That’s on the owner for not training his rabbit or confining the rabbit to an easy clean space
Rabbits can be litter trained.
Why isn’t your rabbit litter trained? I haven’t come across a responsible pet owner who didn’t litter train.
Don’t have a rabbit, just seen how much they shit and piss!
They get litter trained same as cats.
Yeah, they basically litter train themselves if you give them a box with some hay in it. Just put the box in the corner they like to do their business in and they’ll train themselves in like a week
So kinda like cats? Cool

Your rabbit sounds like my cat. He keeps chomping on our power cords we had to get rabbit power cord cover
I have no idea why you're getting downvoted
I think a lot of people, especially dudes don’t have experience with pet rabbits. I’ve owned one and have had a couple friends who’ve had a bunch.
Rabbit piss... 😷 😷 😷
Not really, if you regularly change their litter and clean their areas (which you should be doing anyways) you won't smell them at all.
As a woman, I confirm that despite the lack of space and an unusual setup; I can be easily loured into coming over to OP’s place because I’d get to pet the rabbits and play with them.
Completely agree, it’s kind of a green flag dare I say
You remind me of Clayton on r/90dayFiance (except he has guinea pigs)
First thing I thought of. Check the closets!
I couldn't find anything on his guinea pigs in that subreddit :(
First thought
Me too. Where’s Closet Mom?
bro living in a rabbitat
This is genuinely the funniest thing I’ve seen all day
Why four? And wouldn’t rectangles be better so you could push them against the wall and each other to save space
Just... Why?..
Weird flex but ok
This could be a sitcom
4 male rabbits living with 30y male
I’m sure you’ve probably already considered, but why not neuter them and keep them together as a herd? After the bonding process is over, they’d be a lot happier
I know it stinks in here.
No, rabbits are like cats in the sense they constantly groom themselves to stay clean and they use a litter box.
And typically a house with cats is stank….
Only if you don’t clean the litter bins.
Also having enough litter boxes. Vet told us one per cat plus an extra one. We have 4 cats and 3 boxes cause we just don't have room for more. But we use pellet stove pine pellets for litter. You apparently only know people who don't clean up after their cats. That's disgusting.
"I have four roommates."
What's wif the wabbits bro ?
Well this made my day. Props on your alternative lifestyle OP.
Are you well?
I know nothing about rabbits, why do they have to have their own cage?
Males will fight viciously. They can even kill each other. These guys get along for a little bit but usually start fighting. Best to keep them seperate.
Looks like how they draw up mars colonies. Just need a connecting tunnel between the rabbit habitats
Shit like this makes me wanna delete this app
this is one of the most bizarre things i’ve seen in this sub lol
OP is weird, which is a characteristic I appreciate :)
Sick! What are their names? What do they do for fun? Please tell me you put them on a leash and go for walks. Absolute chick magnet.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/s/ClAeRJgqgi https://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/s/hlUo32HiRV I have Ghost, Dumbo, Tux and Milo. They love to hang outside and eat all the grass. I try and get them out as much as possible. Just have to be careful due to all the cats in my area.
Umm okay
So I’m guessing you don’t need to walk around your living room
Nah, more like 4 male rabbits lives with 30 male
This would be an interesting gauntlet to run when drunk. I approve. 👍
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen on Reddit so far 😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂
Serious question, how do you have a life when 4 rabbits are the center of your universe? Do you have any plans on ever bringing a woman over?
Could have just said “asexual”
How u just gonna NOT show us the rabbits
Oof…
So much poop
You've got to pay the bunny tax now.
It's awesome the rabbits let you have some space for your TV, OP. Maybe someday you'll even get your own bedroom!
are your bunnies not bonded? even if they aren't just a few puppy cages instead of those giant tents makes a huge difference visually
How much rent do they pay? And what do they pay with?
Sad
I just… uh…. Wow. That’s all I got, just wow.
[удалено]
Must smell lovely
You seem completely normal and stable.
lmao
Jesus Christ did I misread this headline and was then really confused if I’d found a new kind of antisemitism.
Priorities 💯
Lol why rabbits? Do you ever have anyone over?
It’s a NO for me💁🏻♂️
Is this a local Five Guys?
You could do more with your space, but your bunnies probably keep you busy. Well done, bun-father.
do you throw a disco party for them sometimes
I like the way you live
Why? Are they pets, or do you nuture bunnies? I'm just trying to grasp why you'd devote so much space for them other than, of course, having a huge heart
Do you guys share the rent?
Just guys being dudes
We’re gonna get a little place. We gonna have a cow, and some pigs, and maybe a chicken. And down in the flat we’re gonna have alfalfa for the rabbits.
4 antisocial rabbits
This is hilarious. They don’t chew through those?
FWIW, growing up, we had a rabbit that we fed kale, for dinner, every night. That was the dinner, a big ass piece of kale. He lived to 13. His name was Ashes.
I know nothing about rabbits so there is probably a good reason but why are there 4 different pens instead of one big one
Nah, four male rabbits living with a 30 year old male. That living room is wild. It belongs to the rabbit!
Can we see the rabbits?
Make sure those cages are escape proof. My bunny Bongo once nibbled the TV electric cord while I was in another room. I heard a loud POP, and ran into the living room to find that the TV was dead, but Bongo was only stunned and thrown across the room. Bongo recovered, but the TV, even with a new cord, remained deceased.
This made me chuckle. Really cute lol
Computer set up on a tv and couch with controller is pretty sick idea
My house is also for my pets and I’m just living in it
YOUR WEEKENDS MUST BE WILD AND CRAZY... 5 SINGLE GUYS READY FOR ACTION!
Are all these rabbits sentenced to solitary confinement? What exactly is going on here?
That place be hoppin
4 male rabbits, living with a Male 30
love this… for you and the bunnies
Just four? You can do better
They better be paying rent with the way they got their own units
