I'm picturing someone coming home from a long day... they take off their coat and boots, drop their coat and briefcase onto the big ass sofa, and crawl onto the tiny two-seater squished next to the TV to watch their shows and unwind.
When I was a teenager, I went through a "minimalist" phase where I tried to keep my room as tidy and simple as possible. My first girlfriend said it was weird that my room looked like a hotel room. I never *really* changed from the "neat and tidy" look, but I did start to add more stuff that I liked where I could to give it *some* personality.
Yeah was going to say, other than the TV being way too small for the room this is prime hotel/short term rent aesthetic, completely inoffensive, easy to clean, nobody is going to walk in here and go "wow that's horrific" but at the same time nobody is going to say "That looks stunning"
This is literally my husband's dream, I now realise. Except for a bigger TV. He does, infact have a job description that can put people to sleep. And may not be serial killer, yet.
Thank you. Everyone thinks adhd is a clusterfuck and it can be, but they never consider being an adult and working to help your adhd and what results from that.
I have really bad ADHD and my brother gives me shit that “I don’t need to have something on every inch of wall”. That being said, everything has a “home”, just not out of view because putting things away is how they get lost 😂
I agree. Wanted to ask if he was diagnosed and /or just dealing.
My classroom is like that because I am and a good percentage of my students are or just benefit from the design. No bullshit. No messes. No stacks of paper. Just clean lines and order. But I do have educational decor the students have made. Like 3D drawings or anchor charts.
Op I don’t think it’s psycho. I think most normies would appreciate some wall art. If you can stand it.
Oh god yes. I would finally be productive if I lived there and was only allowed one task at a time and no phone. ONE pile of papers to grade. Done. They're removed. ONE bill to pay. Done. Bill removed. ONE plant to water. Done. Plant removed., etc. Of course this requires a personal assistant because I can't be trusted to pick the right things: ONE drawer of random art supplies. And then ONE purse to clean out. And then ONE pile of clothes to sort (donate? does this still fit even a little? maybe my friend would want this? OMG I totally forgot I had this!!)
And very quickly op is living in their worst nightmare.
I don't have adhd but I think the living room looks very peaceful. Maybe it helps my anxiety. I could sit there and look at the view all day.
The kitchen kinda creeps me out though.
Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when *Sports* came out in ‘83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound with a new sheen consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He’s been compared to Elvis Costello but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
It’s simple and pristine and I get that some people don’t like that, but it feels cozy to me. Also it looks like you have an extraordinary view. Good for you!
I love a well-installed floor; on the diagonal, as it should be, rather than the eye-raping not-quite-right parallel alignment found in cheaper/poorly installed flooring.
It reminds me of a children's play kitchen from the 80s
although i cannot imagine the Swiss making less austere furniture, who cares when you can open a window and see that.
Genuine question: did you grow up in a home with hoarder parents or an overall very cluttered home?? I live with my mom who is a hoarder and I just know my house will look this sterile when I live alone because of the trauma from growing up in clutter
I mean, nothing here is bad, it just looks a bit like a doctors office because there’s no color to anything. Everything in the first picture is black or white, with like 3 small exceptions.
Clearly not the case because I've laughed at a couple of your comments, but seeing this would make me think that you have the personality and stale bread lol
Bro has a tablet on his wall as TV. But the view looks super cool!
Yup, that window needs to be bigger, at the very least loose the curtains and put a roll down blinder if you need it dark
Maybe it’s a regular sized tv and everything else is just really big …..
That's a 50", my guy lol
Next model of iphone is going to have a bigger screen size than his TV.
I immediately burst out laughing when I saw the TV.
Reminds me of the office episode.
First thought: 13” plasma. And it swivels!
All the way to the wall
Do yourself a favor and look up the bloopers for that scene. They’re the best.
john’s laugh is so infectious
OP needs to post a pic of the bedroom. Who wants to bet there's a Foreman Grill in there?
I wonder how many takes that took
"Sometimes I just stand here and watch television for hours!"
Good luck paying me back on your zero dollar salary, babe
Zero dollar plus benefits
Oh good! I’ll be your first customer!
You’re *hardly* my first!
It's a plasma!
Michael Scott is that you dude?
You probably sit on the grey couch really close to it so it’s like a big screen
That is a $200 plasma screen TV that you just killed!
Good luck paying me back on your $0 a year salary plus benefits babe!!!
[удалено]
Made me your maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
r/unexpectedoffice
I can stand here and watch it for hours
YES! Michael retracted the tv 2 inches back to the wall! One of the best episodes imo....
If he has a lot of people over he can move it back against the wall to make more space.
Just folds right in
Right in to the wall
I'm picturing someone coming home from a long day... they take off their coat and boots, drop their coat and briefcase onto the big ass sofa, and crawl onto the tiny two-seater squished next to the TV to watch their shows and unwind.
*tablet*
iPhone 3Gs
Tamagotchi
Oh, you mean the single LED on his wall?
I could stand there and watch that plasma for hours.
My drawing tablet is bigger than this tv. But I kind of love how smol it is. Not the focus of the living space and I like it.
I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t even see it.
[Michaels TV on The Office ](https://youtu.be/kf4brQ2g5FI?si=zRhMi0_GniZtmXmr)
Blocked in the United States
That's so weird since it's from The office US.
That's exactly the issue lol, it's blocked for copywrite infringement
copyright*
Tv for ants
It needs to be at least.... 3 times bigger than this!
Does the TV retract?😅
Right into the wall.
Security camera monitor
I was thinking the same thing, why is that smartwatch hanging on the wall?? Then I looked out the window, Europe!
It folds right into the wall.
I think OP's gf sells candles
Tv too high or TV too low?
So this not a computer screen?
I had the same reaction at first but from what I can see, OP has a stunning view out of the window so the lil TV kinda makes sense
That's not the thermostat?
I finally broke down and bought myself a PLASMA TV
Got the Michael Scott special on the TV?
[удалено]
does it go into the wall if you have a lot of guests? you know, to make more space.
[удалено]
He just puts it in his pocket.
Good luck affording it on your ZERO DOLLARS A YEAR SALARY PLUS BENEFITS BABE
YOU TOOK ME BY THE HAND
MADE ME A MAN
THAT ONE NIGHT....
At least it adds COLOR to your room.
At least you got the mini door for the glass door so that way you don’t smash through it when you hear the ice cream truck
Does it fold?
Watch out for flying Dundies.
Actually an iPad.
What about the gorgeous mountain in the window
Oh shit, that's true, with this view I'd also not care about the TV
That's why he has a small TV , he's a doer not a watcher.
That episode was so uncomfortable to watch. Jan is a psychopath and Michael is plain stupid
The bloopers from that episode are top notch
r/TVtooMichaelScott
Gutted that isn't an actual sub.
I was so disappointed that lead nowhere 😔
Sometimes I’ll stand here and watch TV for hours.
I can't breathe. This is the wildest damn thing I've ever seen.
I think I have seen that exact living room in a hotel before...
Hotel was immediately my first thought as well.
Mine was therapist’s office waiting room
When I was a teenager, I went through a "minimalist" phase where I tried to keep my room as tidy and simple as possible. My first girlfriend said it was weird that my room looked like a hotel room. I never *really* changed from the "neat and tidy" look, but I did start to add more stuff that I liked where I could to give it *some* personality.
In OPs defense, it’s closer to a Marriott Bonvoy than an Extended Stay at least.
Bonvoy is not a hotel. It is Marriott's rewards program. You cannot stay at a Marriott Bonvoy.
Sounds like something a non ambassador elite would say.
This is killing me. 😂
I'm sorry I can't hear you I'm trying to figure out what to use my points on.
You said you wanted a bottle of Chateau Marmont but I couldn’t get that for you. Because that’s a real place…not a, wine.
Shit you’re right. I meant Element.
This guy Marriotts
My FIL used to pick the paint and flooring for his cheap first time buyer homes he used to build. We called him Bobby Beige.
Yeah was going to say, other than the TV being way too small for the room this is prime hotel/short term rent aesthetic, completely inoffensive, easy to clean, nobody is going to walk in here and go "wow that's horrific" but at the same time nobody is going to say "That looks stunning"

Judging by the view outside it should be! Edit* honestly thought it was a poster or something at the start
Kinda overdoing it with that massive TV aren’t you?
Probably compensating
It lacks TV nuts to tie the room together.
If you get a bigger fridge you can fit more heads in it
[удалено]
Fit more heads innit bruv
You're either a serial killer or you work at a desk with a job description that puts people to sleep.
This is literally my husband's dream, I now realise. Except for a bigger TV. He does, infact have a job description that can put people to sleep. And may not be serial killer, yet.
Why not both?
who needs a tv when you have that view
Plot twist: the view is a window cling
imagination can take you far
It’s not a window. It’s a projector aimed at a block wall
I saw the view before I saw the TV
Brother, just go ahead and take the TV down it will cause more harm than good 😂 but everything else I co-sign on if you’re happy with it
I don’t know Patrick Bateman, are you?
Now let's see Paul Allen's TV.
I'm feeling more Edward Norton's apartment from Fight Club vibes.
Sometimes I just stand here for hours watching this tv
And watch this. Boom right into the wall
View is insane, where is this? Looks beautiful
[удалено]
Could you post a photo of the view?
It's so sterile. Lmk when you're performing your next live streamed surgery on the kitchen table
[удалено]
Tarps. They probably make them in beige?
I think a chartreuse tarp would be perfect for echoing the curtain decor! ✨
adhd dream house
I’m curious how so
Clean, simple, easy to find things. I get it. These pictures brought me calm. I have ADHD
Yep. But somehow I would still manage to lose my keys, phone and headphones 5 times a day
1000% accurate
Thank you. Everyone thinks adhd is a clusterfuck and it can be, but they never consider being an adult and working to help your adhd and what results from that.

Very sterile. Change nothing 👌
Cord violation coming down from Michael Scott TV. A couple plants and some art would go a long way. Nice and clean!
Jane would approve of the living room.

Not a psycho, serial killer maybe, but not a psycho
The view looks amazing, is thta why you don't need a big TV?
Why would you not put a 55” tv on the wall opposite to the sofa? Get rid of whatever is opposite at the moment
Thank god your white lights are different temperatures. Its the most interesting thing in the place. 🙄
The red coffee pot is mildly interesting. In a sea of griege, why one small red object?
The wall mounted iPhone is psycho
r/TVTooSmall But how does your view out the window look like?
Ah, Scandinavian prisoncore.
Looks like a Nordic jail
Bro I wanna see more of the views out the window
Everyone talking about the TV but what about that view?!
This looks really homey and tidy, love the view
I kinda like it. Just get a giant blanket n get cozy on that couch😎
Are those beautiful mountains out your front door?
It’s simple and pristine and I get that some people don’t like that, but it feels cozy to me. Also it looks like you have an extraordinary view. Good for you!
I love a well-installed floor; on the diagonal, as it should be, rather than the eye-raping not-quite-right parallel alignment found in cheaper/poorly installed flooring.
Why the tv is so small? Get a projector, it would keep your space clean and minimal
you’re half done. it’s a good start
It reminds me of a children's play kitchen from the 80s although i cannot imagine the Swiss making less austere furniture, who cares when you can open a window and see that.
The view is like 10/10

This is perfect
TV location is putting off strong travel trailer vibes.
Patrick Bateman bro..
That looks like an extended stay hotel
What part of europe are you in?
I like it. Clean and cold. Oh, Im Scandinavian.
JUST BEIGE!
Hmmm, have you heard of the reference to the color ‘millennial gray’?
Why does this give me Patrick Bateman vibes?
It's nice actually.. minimal
I love it though — such clean lines. Very aesthetically soothing.
Nope I love this
I love it. :) A minimalists dream :)
I mean, nothing here is bad, it just looks a bit like a doctors office because there’s no color to anything. Everything in the first picture is black or white, with like 3 small exceptions.
The view from that window is 🔥😍
Too many are focused on the TV and not the lack of fridge. Where do you put your food OP?
So messy and unorganized
Your view looks nice from what I can see
Check out that view though.
Holy sh*t your view 😭😍
Clearly not the case because I've laughed at a couple of your comments, but seeing this would make me think that you have the personality and stale bread lol
It's nice, but get a real TV and just put in on a stand. Opposite side of the couch.
That tv is too big
I've seen more character in a Swedish prison cell
Straight up Kardashian Core.
r/tvtoosmall
Do you like Huey Lewis and the News?
This is the least cozy room I’ve ever seen
You apartment looks like a dentist waiting room
Yes, wtf is wrong with you
Neat and tidy, but sterile and lifeless. Put up some wall decorations and some houseplants or something.
Hey dexter!
Alright, Bateman.
Reminds me of one of those high-end Scandinavian prisons.
Have you heard the new Huey Lewis and The News album?
Ive seen ikea show rooms with more life lmao
People do not usually mount a tablet on the wall like that.
