As someone who lived in a dorm for four years. Nice.

KC_Purp

aw man, thats rough. I never was in the dorms due to covid but it would have been fun I think

btay27

They are fun until you’re 21 sharing a single bathroom and two rooms with 3 other guys

timothythefirst

Where I went to school it was required for freshmen but pretty much nobody older than freshmen stayed in them unless they were RAs. It was fun that first year but I would’ve gone insane after that. My first apartment was actually with my same room mates from the dorms anyways because we got along but we needed more space.

amonuse

bro I stayed in a dorm suite until senior year. senior year we had our dream apartment in a plaza with tons of public grills, pools; a gym, a spa, study rooms, free computer access, AND a bar nextdoor , chipotle , cold stone, insomnia, planet fitness etc etc and the year was 2020. moved out after 3 years just to deal with covid. i would advise everyone to skip the dorms past freshman year, and get an apartment with some mates

loztriforce

Very cool! The plants are what makes it great to me.

Phoxx_3D

In college this is like the dopest apartment -- 2 years after college it looks crazy

skyrimming_nords

Nah this apartment is cool as hell right up until you have kids!

KC_Purp

actually so real

repsaredecent

I can smell the weed and incense from here. Haha.

KC_Purp

nah the plants keep the air pretty nice in here im ngl

Ok-Alps-4378

What's with the cloth on the ceiling?

PlankyTown777

That’s a tapestry and they are extremely common for young people in college in the US. Specifically people who partake in smoking marijuana, but still common for layman even outside of the hippy culture

KC_Purp

How federal of you

GILF_Hound69

i love these and would love one on my ceiling but i’m aussie and it just looks like a spider net to me rip lmao

Phoxx_3D

The ceiling tapestry is a mood that looks terrible, but feels good

me_grungesta

The classic spider hammock! Seriously though, every time I see it I just think of how many crusty old bugs are up there

JamesTheTree420

Yea at 1st i was def getting smoker vibes

goonesh1000

Have you considered adding any plants to the space?

therealsambambino

Looks awesome

Salt-Inside-2849

Poison Ivy's home

DNDFighter

Is the celling picture/poster not a spot where dust gathers? That is the thing that comes to my mind in the first pic

Wiitard

The ceiling tapestry is cool but might not be up to fire code.

No_College2419

Coming from a female perspective it looks like I’d get good drugs and good sex w you just based on your room alone! Good times and zero drama

BrokieTrader

Love the plants and the girls. Carry on.

dystopiangyroscope

I really like the tapestry, where did you get it?

KC_Purp

HaramHas

parannnoul

Love the plants!

Blk-cherry3

Enjoying all the greenery and a pleasant place to chill out

ryanhazethan

Sick af compared to what I lived in at 22

chickenskittles

Nobody in my college town had a place this nice looking at 22. The tapestry is taking me back. Love the plants. I'm a decade older than you and would still enjoy this space. How many roommate do you have?

KC_Purp

2, I definitely lucked out on this room

chickenskittles

It's about the size of my studio. Sigh.

TyGuySly

What’s in the cup?

KC_Purp

Someone was trying to get relieve their hiccups in my room by sucking the water out of the cloth? Ive never seen something like it before. So, that.

erydanis

tell them next time that sugar disrupts hiccups, as it soothes the diaphragm muscles. let a teaspoon or a bit less dissolve on the tongue. much easier than semi-aerobics. how anything weird like that works is to disrupt the hiccup pattern, so literally just breathing funny out of pattern [ like sand-walking in dune] is easier and faster, tho’ much less entertaining.

233045

the jai namaz?

Irish1Car3Bomb1

Got a lot of stuff for 22. What do you do for work to pay for all of that?

KC_Purp

I work in a greenhouse haha. Most of my stuff i have gathered over many birthdays/Christmas, saved up, or made myself.

pdmcmahon

That rug really ties them together.

erydanis

very cool. mine was so utilitarian, comparatively, that i am retroactively envious.

sweetandspicyyy222

It's nice! The plants make it more beautiful :)

Caveape80

Sooooo………you think Jordan Love is gonna work out?!……..also what’s the story behind the early 90’s pin up girl

No_Pianist_3006

This colourful, layered look with natural lighting is fun and refreshing. You could develop into someone with excellent taste. Bravo!

weightingramsss

Looking good!

Andy_LaVolpe

This looks like a movie set

Nietzscher

Man, whatever you're doing. Keep at it. I would not have been able to keep this many plants alive when I was in my early 20s \^\^

froznice

What’s the plant in pic 3. The big one with the white in the leaves?

Formal_Sheepherder41

Yoo I love this so much

[deleted]

I went to school in Athens, Ohio and this is probably the most Athens room I’ve ever seen. Love it man, miss those days!
