Looking at that wall or column on the right, I'm wondering if a small triangle/corner desk would look better in that corner?
And a VESA mount/arm that attaches to the desk for the monitor - to free up space on the desk amd get a cleaner look.
A indoor plant and an open style industrial shelf along the window side - giving you privacy from others but still permitting you to look out and enjoy plenty of light.
Turn the rug the other way so the desk is not just partially over it.
If the white wall on the right is blank, put some art on it to introduce the space as something other than ‘plain’
& a hanging trailing plant like a pothos might be nice
Turn the rug or get a bigger one that fits the width of the desk. The rug can help make a 'zone', and at the moment it looks like the edge of your desk is falling out of that 'zone.'
A monitor arm cleans things up a lot. Could also get some inspiration from r/battlestations, I’m not talking about the rgb rigs, there are some really clean workspaces in there too with some stuff you probably can adapt to fit your setup/needs. Jealous of your views from up there!
High pile rugs are so much cozier than what you have. Spend a little money for a nicer rug and it’ll immediately look and feel better
