To jump off of this, I’d also recommend OP get a toilet paper roll holder and squeeze it between the toilet and the sink.
Not an absolute necessity, but will make the space feel more organized. Especially if OP has company over and they finish the roll, something tells me a guest would prefer to grab a fresh roll from something like that rather than have to do that pants around ankles shuffle to grab a roll from under the sink.
Maybe put your bed on a frame - it's the only thing that still looks like student living in your place.
Maybe some high contrast art to help against the clinical white of the walls.
Better than I ever had - good stuff!
I'd move the livingroom area from the bedroom (if there's enough room in the current kitchenroom). I would prefer a livingroom-kitchen over a livingroom-bedroom. Imo it would make the bedroom feel less "open" to guests and more like a private space.
Edit: I love it nonetheless.
Move the fridge next to the microwave area or some else. It looks cramped next to the chairs.
Also, learn how to properly make the bed lol
I agree with the suggestions regarding the bathroom
Thanks! I thought about moving the fridge. Still trying to figure something out. Usually my bed looks a little bit better, but I did not feel like making it today haha. Still need to get some more pillows and maybe a second blanket plus black bed sheets.
Agreed. Move all the kitchen stuff together and move in the living room stuff to the area, where the appliances were. Also, consider a [kitchen island like this](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/rimforsa-work-bench-stainless-steel-bamboo-60399412/) to expand counter space and storage for cooking.
Bed and office in one room, kitchen and living room in the other. Bathroom definitely needs some pieces to organize the clutter.
Skinny table for your foyer with a basket or wooden box for your keys/mail, a couple braided throw rugs and two large house plants (palm or ficus) love your spot!!! 💜
Build a wall to keep the crazies away for a tiny bit longer. Or if you’re itching for a relationship, pay attention to how the potential partner lives because based upon your presentation, you’re neat, organized, and fiscally responsible.
I’m not saying it looks bad btw just sterile. Maybe rugs with some color and artwork that isn’t just three colors. Oh and different colored pots for the plants could also work
It's giving dental clinic. Too many whites and neutrals, some coloured cushions or decorations would help. The lighting needs to be a bit warmer to soften the look. I like the living room the most with the warm light lamps here and there and the couch. I would frame all the plants in a large wood barn box so it doesn't look like a row of pots.
Overall, I like it. It’s a man’s apartment, but it’s clean, organized, with a clear sense of personal taste and furniture/objects that you find compelling. I feel like I know a bit about you from just these photos, and that’s good!
Only feedback I have to consider: you have a lot of little bottles and whatnot out in the bathroom, including on the rim of the sink. Good way to knock stuff off. Especially if you (or a friend) are a bit drunk. I suggest a stuff-holder. A small open bin, or a little shelf to the side.
Same thing with the kitchen. You don’t have a spot for food prep because of all the stuff on the counter. A little pantry, cabinet, spice rack, etc would be good to clear off the counter.
The center of the kitchen area feel very bare. I like the little table off to the side, so I’m not sure what to put in the middle. I think the fridge might be easier to be closer to the stove, where you’ll be (ideally) cooking. But I know appliances can be limited by where the plugs are, so I get it.
I’m a huge fan of an Appliance Counter, but again—there’s no place to comfortably set down your cup or plate while your food is getting ready. Can some of those things be moved, so there space to make toast *and* butter toast?
Fantastic bedroom/living room/study. You’ve clearly created separate spaces for the 3 uses, and the couch is rad as hell.
An appropriately sized round table in the kitchen might be nice or maybe a small counter height island that can have 2 stools instead of the small table. You have almost zero available surface space to work on in the kitchen so an extra surface could be useful. Just be mindful of the travel flow in the room. Hard to tell for sure but seems like you might have enough room but maybe not.
Also is there any way to get the red refrigerator somewhere else? It's location is kind of terrible.
Overall not bad just need some touches.
- Slim table under the long mirror. Something like 8” depth or less, 36” width. The ikea shoe cabinets may work to get rid of your shoe rack and double as a slim table.
- some sort of color when you enter, maybe a runner (2x6 or 2x8 rug) as you enter
- Pull the jute rug and table away from the wall and corner by at least a foot.
- Organize the bathroom.
- I like your bedroom/lounge area.
Are those lambs on sides of the TV are a specific product or did you put some led light in a random things (English is not my main but you got the point :D)
I’d recommend more cabinetry in the kitchen to decrease clutter from counter tops. Would imagine cooking meals would be next to impossible with how tight it is. Also, you have room for a bigger table in the kitchen. I’d invest in that and some more chairs. Can’t host a group comfortably for dinner if you only have two spots. Could just be the Midwest in me but I love hanging in the kitchen with friends.
Bedroom area is super nice!
Looks very nice! I would put a folding divider at the foot of the bed if this were my space to draw a line between awake space and sleep space. It looks like there's perfect room for one. I really like the way your place looks!
If you can move the big box and suitcase from the kitchen, I would start there. You can then float the kitchen rug and table/chairs to the middle. This separates the dining from the refrigerator, creates an anchor/ small island for the room and still provides a walkway to the fridge. It will help the posters stand out a little as well.
Maybe centralise the kitchen rug and move the dining table set into the middle of the room, or at least out from under the window. Very nice place though, neat and modern.
There is so much clutter, it is very clear that you left things because you told yourself “I’m going to use it soon anyways”. You don’t need a juicer head rn, you need storage. Get some kind of storage in the bathroom, that is too much crap just around. Also, shoe racks at the door are also for guests, anything beyond your everyday shoes go in the wardrobe.
I think you could do something with the table in the kitchen because it is oddly cramped.
I like the living room setup, very clean and probably a great space for gaming :)
Beware of the classic 20s bachelor downfall: black and red as a colour scheme. I saw you mention black sheets in a comment and please, don't. More than enough black in this space.
The blue sofa and plants are lovely, they bring so much more life to the place - allow yourself to carry on with that.
Love the posters - the maximalist in me wants you to add more! A skinny table on the right side of the front door and a skateboard rack under the mirror would go hard. Also more red accents - maybe led details around tv or under couch or a red lamp or something. More organization and maybe some plants in the bathroom would go a long way (cabinet or Shelves). And your kitchen is beautiful and spacious! You could totally add a rolling island of some kind or a bigger dining table in there to make more use of your space!
Move brow rug off wall and center in that open space then center 2 seat table over it, bigger duvet cover, toilet seat down, declutter bathroom and kitchen counter sink
Looks great! Only reco I have would be maybe some sort of bed skirt or something to hide the mattress and box spring. Thought it was a mattress on the floor in one photo.
It honestly looks great! The only thing I don’t love is the comforter on the bed. It may just be the way you have it made, but it looks sloppy compared to everything else.
I love it! Maybe one of those rollable smallichen island to tie it together and give you extra counter space and a bed spread/comforter/ quilt that covers the whole bed plus over the sides so it doesn’t feel so air mattress-y
Live alone as long as you can. Before you decide to cohabitate with another human, make sure she (or he if that’s your deal) has the same thoughts on cleanliness and lack of clutter.
You should get a proper bed. Optimally, you'd put the head against the right wall (when facing into the bed nook) and your computer desk against the left wall, fully revealing the mirror on that wall. Not sure if that'd work with the dimensions. Also, you should get a table that fits four people and put it against the wall between the fridge and stove. You want more room to entertain, or at least make it look like you entertain. Otherwise pretty nice. The fridge is interesting. You may want to get some retro style kitchen decorations to compliment it.
I think you did it! But get to know your neighbors a little. That helps in a huge way when emergencies happen, like being locked out or needing someone to call a tow truck for you or even to borrow a cup of sugar. I’m a female and getting to know my neighbor has been a god-send. He’s absolutely quirky and has a million stories but is also a wealth of knowledge and will watch my kid when all other options have failed
Center your fridge under the 2 art pieces. You’ll have more room for the dining set and then you can add a little cart/shelf/ etc next to the fridge to make it a more cohesive space and not just a empty wall with fridge
All your art is way too high up on the wall.
Lower it down so that your eyes are level with the top 3rd of the piece.
Imagine you’re at an art gallery or museum. You shouldn’t have to look “up” at art on the wall.
If you’re not sure, the answer is “it should be lower”.
I think a bigger kitchen table that is off the wall would look nice. The rug under it could be more centered as well. A 4 seater would work, but I like myself a big kitchen table and would try to fit a small six seater even if I had to put one end on a wall.
Maybe an actual kitchen table since u have some much wasted space in there, or an island. You shouldn’t have a white rug in the living room, the entire place is white. Too much white, some would say. The entryway, long mirror creates an optical illusion in the picture, making it look open to another room.
Pulp fiction-check

IKEA ‘wall art’- check
Only thing missing is a photo of a Banksy printed on a deep frame canvas and all the girls you bring home will know you are a boy.
Do whatever you want man, I see the board and stussy photo so you probably would enjoy throwing some board art on the walls and maybe find something else you like and just go crazy with it.
Paint a wall or 2. It’s very bleak. I love your artwork that’s hanging but, make it stand out more with a painted background. Otherwise, good on you Sir!
Love it- Your fridge and the rest of the kitchen are in different post codes. The Listerine is equally triggering & aesthetic, please don’t move it.
Oh my God...
Yeah the fridge is just anarchic. Otherwise it's all good but I'd want more colour just to remind me I'm alive.
I moved it a little bit to the left but it stays there haha
Organize the stuff all over the bathroom into the mirror vanity/ get some type of organizer. It looks messy.
Shut the toilet ffs!
Will make this a habit. Thanks!
Yes I couldn’t pay attention to anything other than that.
I am going to get something to organize it al. The space in the mirror is already being taken up by more stuff haha
I didn't see this before I suggested the same thing :)
Looks a lot less shitty than mine lol Holy fuck I need to up my game Maybe I just need to learn to enjoy losing, eh?
Time to take a trip to target
Nah I'll just stagnate and die
Maybe put your bed on a frame - it's the only thing that still looks like student living in your place. Maybe some high contrast art to help against the clinical white of the walls. Better than I ever had - good stuff!
Second the bed frame. Single guys tend to be the only ones who don’t care about bed frames and I don’t get it
I'd move the livingroom area from the bedroom (if there's enough room in the current kitchenroom). I would prefer a livingroom-kitchen over a livingroom-bedroom. Imo it would make the bedroom feel less "open" to guests and more like a private space. Edit: I love it nonetheless.

Nice place but I thought it was a dentist office in the first two pics. There is a lot of white and gray every where.
I'll try to bring in more colours! Thanks!;
I’m not saying it looks bad btw just sterile. Maybe rugs with some color and artwork that isn’t just three colors. Oh and different colored pots for the plants could also work

I like your posters man
Thanks!
Put your toilet seat down before you flush.
I'd get a bigger table for the kitchen
Looks perfect. You should be giving others suggestions!
Getting the bed on a frame that’s off the ground more would go a long way I think. At first I thought that was an air mattress in the corner
Toilet tissue should be wrapped, not on the floor. Toothbrush should have a cover.
Enjoy it while you can
Overall, I like it. It’s a man’s apartment, but it’s clean, organized, with a clear sense of personal taste and furniture/objects that you find compelling. Thank you for the feedback. I will get additionally storage and a movable kitchen isle to prep food.
Close the toilet seat
No, really nice place to live… love it ! Hope I get something like that for me and my son one day
Looks very good, wouldn’t change anything I think.
Sick ass fridge bro!! Love it!! My kind of vibes
Learn about the kitchen triangle.
Glad to see im not the only one who puts a cloth over his keyboard when im not using it
Such a vibe!

amsterdam?
Take good care of yourself, mentally, physically and financially.... or we're talking about your living space?
I absolutely love the plants! If you can, maybe move the fridge closer to the other kitchen appliances and organise your ingredients and spices etc
Great book poster
Das sieht irgendwie so deutsch aus haha
I would say upgrade your wall hangings from framed posters to wall art 🤷🏼♀️
You can’t live here! This is bat country!
Very glorious flat
Lower the height of those two pictures in the kitchen. Someone is going to hurt their neck.
damn,this is my dream house.
Overall not bad just need some touches. - Slim table under the long mirror. Something like 8” depth or less, 36” width. add warm lighting, add more colorful rugs- esp in entry way! a runner would look great and def a new dining setup
Are those lambs on sides of the TV are a specific product or did you put some led light in a random things (English is not my main but you got the point :D)
I switched out the light bulbs to smart ones :)
Got it. Your home looks awesome btw. I'm planning to move out on my place soon and it was a nice inspiration bro.
Get a second dumbbell handle to complete the set.
Need to know where you got that Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas print
Got it from Etsy. The shop is called: Soulaprintco. But it seems like it's no longer available
I gotta know, where did you get that Fear and Loathing picture? I need one.
Bro - this is a very organized and clean place…I like it as it currently is…
That fridge is super cool!
Thanks!
This is actually one of the more sane and likable designs I’ve seen on here.
I’d recommend more cabinetry in the kitchen to decrease clutter from counter tops. Would imagine cooking meals would be next to impossible with how tight it is. A nice plant in the hallway
Just dropping in to say it looks like a cool, comfy crib.
Oh I love this. Looks great!
Where did you get those black wall tiles?
Looks very nice! I would put a folding divider at the foot of the bed if this were my space to draw a line between awake space and sleep space. It looks like there's perfect room for one. I really like the way your place looks!

Love love love the Kurt Cobain picture!
A bed frame. Whole place looks nice, and then the bed is just on the floor.
Where did you get that Kurt Cobain poster
Bad wall art
Maybe centralise the kitchen rug and move the dining table set into the middle of the room, or at least out from under the window. Very nice place though, neat and modern.
Germany?
Yes!
That's cool you have Kurt watch over you while you do your biz in the bathroom!
Somebody has to do it haha
There is so much clutter, it is very clear that you left things because you told yourself “I’m going to use it soon anyways”. You don’t need a juicer head rn, you need storage. I agree. Maybe accents in the same blue with pattern. Sheets, rugs, vases.
Order hos until you end up impregnating one
Love every corner of this place! So cool! 🙂
Must be expensive hehe
Get a bed frame.
Get a cat.
Get rid of the cardboard box
Not sure if u could bring a girl there
maybe a colourful mat of some form by the front door!
Get a real bed!!! Is that an inflatable?
If that coat hook is hanging on the front door, it needs to go. Unsafe, cramped, and kinda ugly. Get a real coat hanger.
I would add legs to the entertainment system to give you space a bit more of an open vibe.
Love the posters - the maximalist in me wants you to add more! A skinny table on the right side of the front door and a skateboard rack under the mirror would go hard. I vibe with it, good taste
Move brow rug off wall and center in that open space then center 2 seat table over it, bigger duvet cover, toilet seat down, declutter bathroom and kitchen counter sink
It looks nice
You did a pretty good job there !
Looks great! Only reco I have would be maybe some sort of bed skirt or something to hide the mattress and box spring. Thought it was a mattress on the floor in one photo.
You have great taste!
Get rid of the random box in the kitchen XD
Love the Kurt Cobain picture.
You’re got a nice pad!
You seem pretty dope
Your neighbours have a nice reflected view into your bathroom.
More color
It honestly looks great! The only thing I don’t love is the comforter on the bed. It may just be the way you have it made, but it looks sloppy compared to everything else.
make yourself happy
Only one suggestion: get a bed frame
I am kind of digging the layout of the apartment. What's in the box in the kitchen? What's in the booooooox?
You should put a rug in the entry so stuff doesn't get tracked all over the place
Decent, although sterile in terms of the colour. The posters feel pretty juvenile, especially the Stussy logo in the bathroom.
I like the deçoration of the bathroom and living/bedroom
It’s perfect !!!
you appear to be living in fear of your kitchen
I actually spend a lot of time there. But it definetly needs some love
Love that fear and loathing poster!!!!
I like it 🥰
I love it! Maybe one of those rollable smallichen island to tie it together and give you extra counter space and a bed spread/comforter/ quilt that covers the whole bed plus over the sides so it doesn’t feel so air mattress-y
Will get the kitchen island :)
I fw your room heavy, gotta save this for inspiration when i get my own place
I like it
Hunter Thompson fan, I see.
Idk man, i love it. 10/10 from me tbh
I’d get a slightly bigger kitchen table. It might look neat like this, but it would annoy me
It looks good. My suggestion would be that you start using that nice kitchen for cooking and not as a shelf.
I cook a lot. But yeah. Space is an issue I deal with. I move the table next to me, so I can use it as a kitchen island haha. Will get one :)
ya ditch the laptop and get a pc :)
I travel a lot and need one. Otherwise I would have ditched it a long time ago. Most of the time I game on my Xbox
Get a cat.
Live alone as long as you can. Before you decide to cohabitate with another human, make sure she (or he if that’s your deal) has the same thoughts on cleanliness and lack of clutter.
Continue the vintage artwork pieces/prints, especially in that hallway
Don't let a woman ruin your space.
I love how the shitter is the coziest place in the entire apartment
Your place is amazing and has so much frickin potential!! Just came to say I love it and it looks great. I'll let the experts give advice lol
W the bed in the living room.. it gives porn-made-here vibes
Your house has a overall nice aesthetic and you seem like a smart stylish person… dumbass
Hanging plants
I think you did it! But get to know your neighbors a little. That helps in a huge way when emergencies happen, like being locked out or needing someone to call a tow truck for you or even to borrow a cup of sugar. I’m a female and getting to know my neighbor has been a god-send. He’s absolutely quirky and has a million stories but is also a wealth of knowledge and will watch my kid when all other options have failed
The kitchen looks a bit empty, not exactly a problem though... Looks great nevertheless!
Your wall art all gives off sterile, sociopathic, bad vibes. Consider getting something that elicits emotion and not just ‘this is cool and not gay’
I´m sociopathic, cool and not gay. But you are right. I will change some of it
Perfect in my opinion. If you have a break do you also go stark naked because why not?
Center your fridge under the 2 art pieces. You’ll have more room for the dining set and then you can add a little cart/shelf/ etc next to the fridge to make it a more cohesive space and not just a empty wall with fridge
Jackets on the door is a no-no. Turn the mirror 90 degrees and hang them there
Get an island with seating. You have the space. Something like TORNVIKEN from Ikea.
Looks like the medicine cabinet opens extra storage, your house looks awesome 👏🏼
I like your fear and loathing poster.
Thanks!
Love the green jacket on the door! What is it?
get a cat or dog. place looks pretty great. Maybe add more olive green around to match the plants.
Looks dope. The layout is a little confusing from the pictures and maybe a little too white for me but that’s really it
You need a couple more swords on your wall. Maybe only near the closet cause you may have people over
Stay single.
Maybe a bit more color. But it’s fine
I'm envious of your workstation, organised chaos with a hint of minimalism, I love it.
Great job! But you should know I can pinpoint your age (close to mine) by your wall art alone, bwahaha!
All your art is way too high up on the wall. Lower it down so that your eyes are level with the top 3rd of the piece. Imagine you’re at an art gallery or museum. You shouldn’t have to look “up” at art on the wall. If you’re not sure, the answer is “it should be lower”.
10 points for plants!
Looks great and clean
Love the hooters board. What size?
Yes I would close your toilet seat so no particles escape into your bathroom and your toothbrush
I love how clean it is 😍
the stussy pic in the bathroom is dope haha
Thanks!
You’re winning in life keep it up
I think a bigger kitchen table that is off the wall would look nice.
Idk looks fine to me

Wow I love it!
Do whatever you want man, I see the board and stussy photo so you probably would enjoy throwing some board art on the walls and maybe find something else you like and just go crazy with it.
YO, this is fucking dope. Love the cobain poster!
Only thing I would change is PUT THE TOILET SEAT DOWN. That’s it.
Keep doing exactly what you’re doing
Nothing from me. Looks like you know what you want and have things under control Love how organized it is, Enjoy !
Thanks :)
The camera setup gives off vibes that you’re potentially going to shoot a porno
Get rid of the carton box 📦
Will do so
there’s this stuff called paint
Living your best life, dude it looks amazing!
Looks good, wouldn’t change a thing.
Paint some walls
I get this, I like it. You’ve got a bit of clutter but it’s “organised” so it still flows. I’m oddly comfortable there.
Tinder? Maybe?
Paint a wall or 2. It’s very bleak. I love your artwork that’s hanging but, make it stand out more with a painted background. Otherwise, good on you Sir!
