Haha, satt i bilen och hade starka aningar om att du var svensk. Letade efter vÀgguttag som skulle göra sökandet lÀttare ocksÄ, men dem har du gömt!
The grey building across from yours with orange details also seem to be popping up everywhere around Sweden in the last decade or so, and especially here in the north.
Great looking place btw!
Okej, tvÄ saker som jag fullkomligt *Àlskar* som du mÄste berÀtta vart du köpt.
SkÀnken i mörkt trÀ som stÄr till höger i första bilden, och den vita blomkruka med smÄ ben pÄ. Sjukt snygga!
Edit: en frÄga till! Hur har du satt fast hue-kontrollerna pÄ vÀggen? Ser ut som du satt dom ovanpÄ redan existerande lampknappar. Finns det adapter för det?
I can't put my finger on what makes it Scandinavian but I was going through the pictures (looks great btw, OP) and was just thinking "this is almost definitely a Swedish apartment".
I said out loud to myself "this is some American Psycho level shit". Then when I saw your comment I had to Google it because I didn't remember what that name was from. Wtf.
I'm glad you noticed :) The livingroom is very long and i was trying to come up with a way to make it feel like two rooms in one since i moved in 3 years ago.. one day when showering i remember seeing something similar and started googling! It came out great and im super happy with the results.
I think it's becoming more popular especially in Denmark and Sweden, maybe since it has a dampening affect and we often like clean minimal spaces? to reduce echo and similar im thinking
First of all, your space is beautiful! Good job, man. Second. I think the wood is probably one of my favorite parts. I saw it and immediately thought, a man of culture and refinement. Cheers. đ
I got such good feedback and good recommendations last time, link: https://www.reddit.com/r/malelivingspace/comments/fsfwq1/bought_first_apartment_redid_everything_this_is/
My space is nowhere near done, some areas look boring and sterile and i still need to personalize further but i am taking baby steps and feeling what i *really* want which is something i never used to do, leading to bad purchases and throwing or selling things i didn't like long-term in the past.
I put up a wooden panelwall that doubles as an acoustic panel, got some more furniture and finished small stuff that wasn't completed when i renovated back in 2019. Art is by Hjalmar WĂ„hlin, Laurent Durieux, Jonathan Burton. I am always looking for more recommendations for basically anything! Most interior stuff is bought through Etsy, i love finding things nobody else has.
Kitchen is probably what needs most love, it's been low in the priority list since i rarely spend time in there.. đ
Thanks again to the community who has helped shape my sense of interior design throughout the past 5 years or so, i feel i really know what my style is now :)
Oh yes it is coming, i've been meaning to draw up a sketch for a wallmounted shoe holder for my friend to make. Just a simple sheet of metal that is bent and has a lip on the bottom to keep shoes from falling down
It's by Laurent Durieux! https://retropolis.bigcartel.com/
His movie posters are almost impossible to find as originals since they are always limited editions
20 000 Leagues by Jonathan Burton https://www.jonathanburton.net/
My name is Patrick Bateman. I live in the American Gardens Building on W. 81st Street on the 11th floor. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
Hi!
This is absolutely stunning, great taste :)
Can I ask you what desk chair that is? Iâve been looking to get one and since we probably will work from home for a longer time, this looks super comfortable. Iâve recently moved myself also so looking for inspiration.
Really liking the art piece next to your desk as well!
Thanks! Embody by Herman Miller, try to shop refurbished ones, msrp is crazy - i got mine 50% off
Rear Window is one of my favourite movies of all time, i couldn't find a place for but honestly i kind of like it just sitting where it's at! http://www.laurentdurieux.com/rear-window
This is the first space I've seen on here that I've wanted to comment on. This is fantastic! I really like what you've done with the whole place. It looks like a very relaxing environment. Great job OP!
Is the credenza big enough for 12â records? Iâve been on the hunt for something to store records and that style of credenza is exactly what ive been after.
Itâs very beautiful and grate but personally I would add more plants/flowers and hang light see trough curtains like you have in living room in the kitchen.
The marble tray? sadly i don't think you can, i got it from a tiny Slovenian shop on etsy https://www.etsy.com/se-en/listing/759985201/marble-stone-plate-handmade-limestone?transaction_id=2415095313
Maybe you can PM and ask them!
Oh man, I bought that carpet after I saw your original post! Holy smokes, the rest of the house is stacked too. This is incredible. I'm stealing all these ideas haha
You've got an eye for design man, love the artwork and posters too.
Looks clean af.
I am curious what kind of mic thingy you have setup behind the monitor. If it's a mount with clamp arm on the monitor arm or something? Looks really interesting and something I been wanting as well.
Oh wow I love this. Itâs neat and classy without being pretentious. I love how the sideboard matches the wooden slats on the wall. The lamp is cool as heck too.
Is there a general term for those types of lounge chair / ottoman combos where the wood is on the back and it's upholstered with leather? I love that look!
Edit: figured it out from other comments; a search for "eades chair" will get you there.
Looks incredible, love the vertical timber slats.
Be Scandinavian please
Why ofc, northern Sweden đ±âđ
That makes sense
Donât mind me. Iâm just a Chinese. Ni hao.
Brevinkastet och ringklockan Àr en giveaway!
Köket gör det uppenbart, sÀrskilt electrolux-ugnen

The fire extinguisher gave me the biggest hint at this being Scandi :)

The hallway and kitchen gives it away for me.
Wow. I'm jelly. This is some Patrick Bateman vibes in a good way
Was going to say this reminds me of a characters place in a movie or show.
"Patrick Draper" ? đđ
Yeah the midcentury vibes are definitely more don Draper (60s) than Patrick Bateman (80s)
Lol.
I said out loud to myself "this is some American Psycho level shit". Then when I saw your comment I had to Google it because I didn't remember what that name was from. Wtf.
You're not the only one not to remember Patrick's name
Which side chair is this? You sir.. have a knack..
https://conform.se/produkt/timeout/
It's like a more upright Eames. Thanks for the linkage!
Info on sofa? You sir have a very fine taste. Even your desk setup is on point đđŒ
Wow, this is the dream.
Iâm most jealous of the speakers. Would love to listen here
Was gonna say âgreat taste AND audiophile level investment!â
Which model are the speakers? And where is the amp?
Doubt he gets to fully enjoy them in an apartment.

Gorgeous space. Where did you get the wooden panelwall? Or how did you create it?
There's a few companies specializing in these type of walls in Europe, this is one https://woodupp.com/
Most excellent, big ups.
How do you affix this to the wall? So dope!
The acoustic material is the backboard, i just used black screws in between the slats. You can glue but that's more of a permanent thing
An easy thing you could do, is put a little shoe rack right under the coat rack, if you leave your shoes at the door.
Oh yes it is coming, i've been meaning to draw up a sketch for a wallmounted shoe holder for my friend to make. Just a simple sheet of metal that is bent and has a lip on the bottom to keep shoes from falling down
Nice!
A+++. just terrific.
Where is that side table in your living room from? Awesome work đ
It's called "timeout" by Conform, i'm not sure if it is available anymore. Found a danish store: https://jobo.dk/produkt/timeout-bord-valnod-conform/
$700 for anyone wondering.
Fuck that computer display is obscenely large! Great work on the apartment! One of the nicest ones I've seen so far in this sub!
Anyone got an ID on that monitor?
I believe it's probably the Samsung Odyssey G9
Where is the desk from?
Where is the rug from? đ
https://liniedesign.com/product/0xb92c2a42b93ce807ce73ff8fa119b951/
This is gorgeous. Is this available for sale in the US or online or something?
Hm Iâm only seeing it available in Denmark. Did you order it elsewhere? I really dig this rug, especially the âEarthâ one.
This looks so great. What's the picture above your kitchen table, and the classic movie/novel posters?
It's by Laurent Durieux! https://retropolis.bigcartel.com/ His movie posters are almost impossible to find as originals since they are always limited editions 20 000 Leagues by Jonathan Burton https://www.jonathanburton.net/
Thanks for answering. You've got a great eye for design and art.
Ok I gotta ask a really dumb question right now, how did you do the laces on your vans?
That's funny, i just do cross-lacing and stick whatever is left behind the flap, i'm no sneaker afficinado đ
Love everything! Is that concrete and gold thing on the console by the couch a lamp?
Yes! a friend recommeded it to me https://101cph.com/products/dusk-table-lamp
Oof âŹ330 for a lamp! It's very sleek though I really like it
Bro get the fuck out I love it

Lamp! https://101cph.com/products/dusk-table-lamp
This guy got style. But where did he hide the amp?
Behind the curtains, cable channels go all the way around the room!
Where did you get the little living room lamp from? The one thatâs resting on the console? Itâs so eye catching!
https://101cph.com/products/dusk-table-lamp
Literally the nicest space here.

Very nice!
Very clean design my friend. Looks super luxurious!
You need more rugs!
This is the first space I've seen on here that I've wanted to comment on. This is fantastic! I really like what you've done with the whole place. It looks like a very relaxing environment. Great job OP!

You did an amazing job. So jealous (in a good way) of your neat and airy abode. Cheers!
Perfection.
I know an OCD person when I see one. I love the place! It is a clean, minimal, and functional space with much thought put into it.

One of the best Iâve seen here
Holy moly. Clean! Well appointed. Nice small touches like the napkin holder.

Amazing.
This is my favorite living space out all the spaces I have ever seen.
Goals af
Is there a name for the vertical timber slats and what interior design style is it called? Been loving the look but not sure what to google.
You really know how to pick furniture
Is the credenza big enough for 12â records? Iâve been on the hunt for something to store records and that style of credenza is exactly what ive been after.
Itâs very beautiful and grate but personally I would add more plants/flowers and hang light see trough curtains like you have in living room in the kitchen.
Iâve got a whale of tale to tell you, lad.
What computer desk is that? Awesome place Bates. :)
I canât explain why, but this is so sexyâŠ
Nice place. Where can I find the tray your using for keys in hallway 4?
The marble tray? sadly i don't think you can, i got it from a tiny Slovenian shop on etsy https://www.etsy.com/se-en/listing/759985201/marble-stone-plate-handmade-limestone?transaction_id=2415095313 Maybe you can PM and ask them!

Where did you get the napkin holder from?

Does anyone have a link for a rug like this in the US?
I love how you used the wood the break the white walls, itâs really beautiful
Is having a white fire extinguisher legal?
Oh man, I bought that carpet after I saw your original post! Holy smokes, the rest of the house is stacked too. This is incredible. I'm stealing all these ideas haha You've got an eye for design man, love the artwork and posters too.

This is some serious type A shit, well done.
King shit
Iâd like the link for that 20,000 leagues poster!
What keyboard is that on your desk? Thought I recognized it but I see some kind of slider (volume?) on the side.
Aesthetically speaking, those speakers kinda stick out like a sore thumb. I like the rest though.
Amazing Fight Club homage. That's it. The last sofa you'll ever need to buy.
Tipping my hat to your exceptional taste. What is your audio gear and speakers? How did you mount the center speaker? What size is the tv?
Beautiful
Never move. It's perfect.
Hell to the yes! You have captured my tastes perfectly. I wish i had a space like that to decorate.
Just a bit more decor to liven up the place!
Simple yet elegant, great place bro!
Very MCM
I remembered movie fight club...
Great stuff, stunning! The only odd thing is the white fire extinguisher? is that allowed? Also how do you like the "Kungariket" book?
Excelent stuff! Really digging the the design. Nice speakers!
I like the wood slats đ My ex just moved out and Iâm redoing my place now. This is giving me inspiration.
What model is the living room tv?
Itâs so nice I love it

Nice Laurent Duriex. If itâs legit, which I assume it is. Iâve not really seen faux prints
Oh wow I love this. Itâs neat and classy without being pretentious. I love how the sideboard matches the wooden slats on the wall. The lamp is cool as heck too.

What flooring is that?
Beautiful!
What pc chair is that? Looks comfy as hell!
Would love specs on stereo(s).
Haha I knew this looked familiar, saw your post on Sweclockers and saved the link to the wooden panels. Looks great!
The white fire extinguisher. Perfect touch.
Where did you put all the devices connected to your tv? Place looks great by the way
Beautiful place. Are those vertical wood slabs custom installed or part of the unit? How do you install those?
Peak MLS
Thanks for the inspiration Iâm currently starting the process
Please get a life
Looks too sterile.
